Welcome dear reader to my ASMR thread. Inspired by a couple of other residences here expressing an interest in this form of media, I decided to create a thread to discuss and share ASMR. For those who have never heard of ASMR and have stumbled into here out of curiosity, I shall do my best to explain it to you. Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response or ASMR is a physical sensation characterized by a pleasurable tingling that typically begins in the head and scalp. The causes for this sensation can by triggered in a number of different ways such a slow movement, whispering, tapping, scratching, and many other possible visual or audio stimuli. Not everybody gets tingles from the same things and some people don't tingles at all. The only way to find out is to give it a try. Even if you don't get tingles from ASMR, it can still be quite relaxing to listen to.
This post will contain a good number of ASMR videos for you to sample. Each one has been placed in the following major categories:
Wholesome - You could show these videos to your family and get away with them thinking you're simply a weirdo instead of a degenerate.
Not Quite Wholesome - Not spicy enough to be in danger of deletion, but a bit too weird or dark to be exactly family friendly.
Sexually Suggestive - It's a miracle Youtube hasn't deleted these videos. These can range from aggressive cleavage to questionable wet noises.
Sexually Explicit - Everything here isNSFW. This category will probably be filled with just audio clips and links due to how stupidly inconvenient it is to put a working video on here.
Within each category, there are two sub-categories.
Visual Focused - ASMR that uses, relies on, is enhanced by or simply includes movement.
Audio Focused - ASMR that you can simply listen to without missing out on anything. Typically uses still images to set the mood.
Everything inside has been organized by the name of content creator and a sample of their work. Each content creator will have [Tags] placed next to them to broadly describe the type of ASMR they typically create. Please keep in mind that not all the [Tags] will fit the sample.
With that all out the way, please go ahead and enjoy yourself. This post will be a WIP and if you want a particular content creator on here that you enjoy, I will be happy to place them here.
