Good afternoon! I’m Sharp Johnny, it’s nice to be here. I’m an old school roleplayer (in my 30s and feeling it, lemme tell ya) who has been away from the hobby for a very long time, but after a year of pandemic I need to do something to flex the brain muscles (do brains have muscles?). I know this website seems to lean a bit into the erotic roleplay world, and I’m certainly not opposed to writing sex and smut content, but I should be upfront that isn’t really what my requests are for. They can have sexual content, and I’m not going to flatly refuse anything sexually-focused, but it’s neither a necessity or a priority. I’m mostly looking to write.
Im looking for a female partner, someone generally mature and friendly and creative. My favorite genres to write in are fantasy and (soft) science fiction. I can write dark themes as long as the tale isn’t unrelentingly grim, and I don’t think I have too many limits when it comes to content, although I certainly won’t write just anything, especially in terms of sexual content- there are some creative lines I’m unwilling to cross.
I hope I don’t seem to evasive or prudish, I don’t mean to, I’m just the sort of person who even in their writing prefers to discuss certain topics (such as sexual scenarios and kinks) in private, rather than out in the open. As I said, my main interest is the writing part, with sex as a perfectly welcome but hardly required aspect.
I prefer to write in either your traditional fantasy setting, or in a soft science fiction/science fantasy setting. I do like melding genres a little, so fantasy words with magick steampunk robots or sci fi epics with space wizards are totally my thing.
I’m hoping to be able to be on regularly and post often, and I do value communication. I wish I could say I came with a list of storylines or pairing ideas, but at the moment all I have is a twinkle in my eye and high hopes to find someone willing to chat, hammer out ideas cooperatively, and world build.
In the future I hope to add more hard and fast ideas to this thread, but for now it’s vague genre and a hope that someone finds this rambling nonsense charming enough to message me.
