As the thread title suggests, I'm heavily into fantasy as a genre. I love the freedom it gives me for world building and plotting, I love the tropes, I love the character archetypes, I love magic, and I especially love the lack of need to do research! That said, I also enjoy Harry Potter -like settings which might have a secret world of fantasy within the real world. Time period (technological level) could be modern, medieval, ancient or even futuristic (I do love a well done blend of fantasy and scifi), each have their own charm. While I don't mind occasionally RPing in realistic settings, this is what I'm actually looking for most of the time.
As the preface might suggest, I'm looking for partner(s) who enjoy a good story alongside the smut. I do have my share of kinks I sometimes like to indulge without the burden of anything more than a superficial story, and I'll list them at the end of the post, but right now, I'm mainly looking for a story-heavy game with romance (straight MxF pairing, though I'm also fascinated with the concept of polyamory, so it doesn't need to strictly be 1 on 1 - multiple pairings is also possible) as a central element. Be aware, it might be a pretty long term project, and there may be slow times, and it's possible we'll never be able to complete it. But how massive a project it becomes depends on the scenario we choose.
Before I go into scenario suggestions, there's something I want to say: in female characters, I'm often fascinated by their identity as much as their character. I'm not interested in "ordinary girls" with nothing to grab my attention before I get to know them; I want princesses or noble daughters, witches or sorceresses, adventurers or priestesses, angels or demons, nymphs or elves, dragons capable of shapeshifting into humanoid form... Like I said, I love the character archetypes. (Mind you, I'm not into furry, so while beast-human hybrids are ok, the outward beast characteristics should be on the level of ears and tail.)
Now, allow me to present a few possible scenarios, mainly adapted from story ideas I haven't got around to writing yet. Naturally, I'm also open to suggestions from your side. These are all vanilla in nature, for non-con stuff see my kink list at the end of the post (I might write scenario suggestions for them, too, later).
Lately, I've been fascinated by harems; in which circumstances and with what kind of characters would a polygamous/-amorous relationship seem not too far-fetched, not straining
your suspension of disbelief too much? In the unlikely case that there's someone willing to play multiple females with a single male character, I've got plenty of scenario proposals. The reverse (F x multiple M)... isn't impossible, but you'd have to come up with an interesting enough scenario proposal.
Anyway, I've got plenty more where these came from, but let's move on to the last part now:

It turns out that she's a witch, and her condition is that he becomes her lab rat to test her potions. Normally he'd nope the fuck out at that point, but she presents it as a challenge: she's giving him a chance to win over her heart. And he's never backed down from a challenge. So begins his interesting life as a witch's boyfriend (lab rat).
It turns out that she's not just any ordinary witch. She's from a very influential family in the supernatural underworld. And they don't like the fact that she's dating an ordinary human. He ends up having to fight for that right, quite literally, with the aid of her potions. They also don't like her living alone and focusing on her research, rather than attending to family duties, and he ends up having to fight for her rights as well. Once he chugs enough potions (which include also many other kinds except ones useful for battle, from aphrodisiacs to shapeshifting potions), it eventually seems like he's beginning to gain supernatural powers of his own, truly entering her world.
While the witch is primarily interested in her research, she doesn't neglect to reward him for his troubles: whether it be in the form of hugs and kisses, a date, or something more sexual in nature, depends on her mood and how big a favour she feels she owes him. She really tries to act her part in the relationship, even if it is in order to fulfill the contract. And if he keeps fighting for her, perhaps she will finally genuinely come to love him...

I'm greatly fascinated by xianxia, a Chinese genre of martial arts fantasy, and they happen to have an interesting concept suitable for erotic roleplay: dual cultivation. If you're familiar with the genre, I need not say anymore, and if you're not, this idea isn't going to work for you anyway, as there's a lot of terminology and tropes you'd need to know.
Now, in this scenario, the male character is a commoner, a head librarian's son, who falls for the daughter of the city's Lord Protector, a well-known beauty and a martial arts genius. Normally they would have little chance to even meet, let alone interact regularly, due to the gap in social class, but the girl goes to the same martial arts academy - in different class, a class for nobility, but nevertheless, there's potential for contact, and fate takes care of the rest.
He's considered a weakling, because of an illness that makes his cultivation progress very slow despite his tireless efforts. However, a few years back, he found a secret chamber in his father's library, where there was a highly advanced cultivation manual left behind by some ancestor, which helped him cure the illness and actually progress in leaps and bounds. He hides his real cultivation level in order to avoid unwelcome attention: noble sons in the academy would not take kindly to a well-known "cripple" outshining them, and he's not yet strong enough to handle that kind of attention. However, he takes on an alter ego and dons a mask at times, in order to be able to operate freely, to hunt for treasures to help his cultivation.
The Lord Protector's daughter is the only one who knows his secret, and she actually far more frequently interacts with his masked persona. This can be done more openly without risk of drawing attention to the male character's real self. They often cooperate during treasure hunts and such. And most importantly, they're actually mutually responsible for each other's rapid cultivation progress, at least partially; for in secret, they practise dual cultivation. Their bodies are highly suitable for a dual cultivation technique the male character found in his secret manual, and it's incredibly beneficial for both of them, but if it were to become known that she's basically engaging in pre-marital sex, she would be greatly shamed and he would probably be hunted down and killed by her father.
The goal which the story/game is heading for is a martial arts competition to be held by the Lord Protector soon. As the military leader of the city, the Lord Protector appreciates strength, and proving his strength in this competition, as his real, unmasked self, is the one chance the MC has to be granted the right to openly court his lover.

Even retired, he was once a most faithful servant of hers, and furthermore, he understands that she has no one else to turn to, so he finds himself unable to refuse. A former general from Hell escapes to Earth with the Devil's favourite concubine, and now lives with her as a newlywed couple very much in love. The Devil's bounty hunters are after them, and sometimes he has to fight, but since fighting is his forte, for him the more troublesome problem is getting used to life on Earth. An agent from the Heaven's side, who happens to owe his life to him, arranges for him to work in a company, which in public is like any other, but in reality employs many supernatural beings. It's a concept somewhat similar to witness protection.
Meanwhile, the lovely wife, formerly a noble lady from one of Hell's oldest and greatest noble houses, and as mentioned, one of the Devil's concubines, has similar problems getting used to the life of a housewife. She's never cooked in her life, and the other household chores were taken care of by the servants as well. She starts to receive training from a kind neighbour lady. The problem is, she's a devout Christian, and every time she says "God bless" or something to that effect, the demon woman has to avoid showing her (very much physical) pain on her face...
Oh, and the reason why she followed him to Earth, choosing the life of a fugitive over the comfortable life in Hell? The Devil wasn't good enough in bed...

This isn't based on an existing story idea, I literally came up with this just now, decided to include it on a whim. It's far more smut-heavy than my other ideas.
The male character comes from a family of demon hunters specialising in succubi. His family has the techniques and the magical power (which is what succubi are after) to overcome a succubus in bed. However, his first prey is almost too much for him, and they end up in a mutually exhausted stalemate. He uses his magic to bind her, to prevent her from running away, but as a matter of fact, she has no intention of escaping. She's ancient; if not the first of her kind, then at least one of the first - and this is the first time she's ever been sated by a single male.
Starting an odd cohabitation, their stalemate continues, as each one seeks to overcome the other, in bed and otherwise. He gets drawn in to her underworld power struggle and she to his family issues, and so their bond deepens with each trial faced together...
