Frederick is a vampire. A 2000 year old vampire.
He is very old, very jaded, and very tired of the posturing and political upheaval required to maintain his position as leader of vampire politics. He's looking for a change, but said change is dangerous--vampires are ruthless, and though he was turned young, many were turned older, from not so savory folks.
He views humans as out there for themselves, in need of guidance, and more like an interesting pet than an equal. Unlike most of the vampire elite he, is not interested in ridding the world of them all as nuisance wildlife. The lore I have is not that well-developed, but in my head, vampires and the fae are two sides of the same stories.
I'd like to find him a counterpart to play against, either another vampire or a human. Please keep in mind that Frederick is NOT human and does NOT act human. In fact he has been known to keep humans as pets. He is not going to show any interest in your 20 year old OC, so if this is what you like this RP is not for you. If you want romance it's gonna require another supernatural.
I am also willing to play a younger version of Frederick for an RP that goes over his early years after having become a vampire. I'd need someone in a mentor position for this one. Frederick's name was probably not Frederick originally--he was born somewhere around 20 BC in Jordan so this would likely have Roman empire vibes.
I am 29, in EST, and female. I am generally pretty active, though sometimes my response rate slows down if my muse has flagged or I'm not feeling well. Heads up, I am not a novella writer--my posts range from 3-5 paragraphs on average but may be much longer or shorter depending on what's going on. I most enjoy authors who elevate my writing and push me to write well.
I prefer LGBT pairings but can be flexible for this specific character.
