Almost all of us deal with daily challenges to our mental health. Problems like stress, anxiety, depression, and emotional exhaustion are all common challenges that we all struggle to cope with. This thread will offer a list of resources that can help you relax, meditate, de-stress, and, if you're feeling down, find someone to talk to in order to seek professional help. This thread will remain locked. If you would like to add something to the list or report a broken link, please don't hesitate to contact any Officer/Moderator in the staff team. Only free, non-redundant resources will be allowed into the list. If you would like to vent about life please remember to use the Journals section instead of any other place in the site or chat.

Hotlines & Helplines:
  • IASP - International Association for Suicide Prevention lists suicide hotlines for various countries around the globe.​
  • NAMI - The NAMI HelpLine is a free, nationwide peer-support service providing information, resource referrals and support to people living with a mental health conditions, their family members and caregivers, mental health providers and the public.​
  • Hotlines in Canada - This page lists various hotlines and helplines for various disorders, substance abuse, suicide & crisis, domestic violence, and LGBT issues in Canada.​
  • SAMHSA - Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration - SAMHSA’s National Helpline is a free, confidential, 24/7, 365-day-a-year treatment referral and information service (in English and Spanish) for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders.​
Mental Health Support:
  • 7 Cups - 7 Cups connects you to trained, caring listeners for free emotional support. They offer paid therapy services for a monthly subscription.​
  • Samaritans - Speak to trained professionals in your language for help with your mental health.​
  • Harborview Medical Center - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy handouts from professional therapists.​
  • Headspace - Meditation practice to help you deal with stress and anxiety, and improve your sleep.​
  • Emotions Anonymous - A 12 step program aimed towards people with mental health issues helping them connect with peers and have a safe place to unload their problems without fear of rejection.
Resources to de-stress:

  • Touch Pianist - Tap in rhythm and perform your favorite music in this fun, relaxing piano game.
  • Calm - Free meditations, sleep stories, calm masterclasses, music, and kids content can all be found in this page.

  • Khan Academy - Free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere.
  • Coursera - Build skills with courses, certificates, and degrees online from world-class universities and companies.
  • Happify - Form new habits with these engaging activities and games designed to increase productivity and make you happier.
  • MyFitnessPal - Take control of your dietary goals. Track calories, break down ingredients, and log activities with MyFitnessPal.
