Ahh our own version of the gritty American love story. Two poor college love birds building a nest for themselves off campus. Countless hours of lectures, exams, group projects only to meet each other at home exhausted and reeking of whatever minimum wage job we separately work to make ends meet. Sure some weeks your off on a Tuesday and I’m off on Wednesday and we only manage 6 words to each other over cold pizza that your mom paid for because hours got cut and our light bill was outrageous this month but. That is until one of us gets laid off 2 weeks before rents due. What the fuck do we do now?
