After stalking other requests threads like a tiger in the tall grass, it's time to instead post a sign for all the gazelles to just saunter onto my dinner table. This metaphorical tiger is going to take a shot at preserving all that hunting energy for ravishing and devouring really great gazelle-matches. Said metaphor will expend some little energy in overextending the metaphor itself and in making the sign to direct the prey to him as clear and enticing as possible.
note: clarity is in the eye of the beholder. Obviously, this mission has already failed to some extent having started things with a metaphor about devouring you. This may be intentional, as a means to weed out people who would be a bit of a bad fit, but it may also be just how the man/tiger's mind works.
If you've gotten this far, you deserve to read something enticing and fun now, right? Right.
Yeah, it's exploding pairings. You win.
What I mean by this is that I see these listings of pairings that someone wants to write that are incredibly basic and are maybe designed for just a short-term encounter. You've seen them. They're these things:
Nerd x Popular Girl
Student x Teacher
Normal girl x Bodyguard
I like to grab these little ideas and BLOW THEM UP. See, exploding pairings. What I mean by this is that I take that basic pairing and I throw a ton of plot around them. Often this involves coming up with a device I call a plot trigger - a thing that we can decide if/when we want to trigger it to keep the story from getting stuck and moving it into a new and fun phase.
Here's some quick and dirty examples - and I am just shooting from the hip, drawing from some previous pitches where possible. Also aiming for brevity (TOO LATE!) and more an illustration than an exhaustive explosion.
As I am incapable of brevity, I'll not explode that last idea. You get it.
Throw a pairing at me that you've already started to explode and I'll be excited to reply.
That being said, there are certain types of stories or settings that I find myself drawn to more than others.
Historical/Modern Fantasy - I typically find some level of magic or the supernatural in my stories. I will write in just about any setting, but I find that my favorite is to set things in a specific era or historical period. This is NOT the generic medieval fantasy setting (though I'll write that too if it's a good fit). Rather, this is setting a story in Victorian England or Interwar Germany or the crusades or 1950's America or the age of sail and piracy. Throw a little sci fi or fantasy in there and we're on our way. I'll also definitely write modern stories.
Sci fi of the same sort - It's probably obvious, but while I may prefer magic or supernatural creatures to it, science fiction is also going to work great in the eras described above. Alien crash lands in Revolutionary america? Female Dr. Frankenstein (the monster doesn't need a bride to be made, now, does he...?) Our own take on super heroes? I'm in.
Realistic and kind of scary - I'll keep my magic and science fiction to myself sometimes. Want to write about a serial killer and the girl who learns his identity but wants to keep that to herself because he's sexy? How about a tale of spies or a forbidden romance? I'm game.
Space Opera or Future Sci Fi - It's all about the story and characters here. I'm not usually keen on the riffs on Star Wars or on zombie apocalypses, but if the dynamic (and my partner) are enticing I can be enticed.
Fandoms - This is tough. Gotham/Batman stuff can be a draw for me, but even then I'd prefer something a little more original. For example, I have a vague notion of writing a post Dark Knight Returns dystopia with Carrie Kelley opposite someone trying to be the next bat(man/woman/girl). Along the same lines, writing in MCU is fun sometimes, but it's much more fun to get out of the mold - I once had a very fun story going with Tony Stark opposite genderbent Spiderman (spidergwen would work but this was an original). Apparently I'm drawn to sexy mentor/mentee AUs...

- I'm looking to write against mostly original female main characters. I will write MOSTLY original male main characters.
- MAIN characters means that I'm not a huge fan of writing multiple main characters
- stories require more than two characters in most instances, so I can and will populate our story with other people. My typical approach is to have one main character per writer and treat all the other characters as NPCs that can be grabbed and written as needed by anyone. Often this leads to some characters being MOSTLY written by one writer or the other, but it's not their character in the same way as the main character.
- if you want to write more than one main character you certainly can. I know harems are a thing, and if you want to throw one at me after looking through this thread, go for it.
- MOSTLY, in the gender context means that I will default to writing a male character, but am happy to try my hand at other genders. Mostly I'm aiming to write characters with cocks, to be honest, but that means there's room for aliens or magical creatures or futanari-type ladies. I can and do write a decent female main character. I am not, however currently looking to write opposite any non-female characters here.
- MAIN characters means that I'm not a huge fan of writing multiple main characters
- I'm happy to write through PMs
- Exceptions will be made for amazing partners AFTER establishing a few posts through PMs to ensure it's working.
- I don't count words but, as you may already guess, I can and will write a lot. I don't require some sort of matching, but if you write less than two paragraphs it'll be a hard sell. Similarly, I'm not necessarily going to match you if you're regularly writing more than 800 words a post. I might... I might even write more, but if you're going to throw me 1000+ word posts and get mad that I don't match them, it's not going to be great. We're writing a story together is all - if we're both writing things that are fun to read and give our partner something to respond to, we're doing it right.
- I said MOSTLY original up there regarding characters - fandom settings/inspirations are often easy to sell me on if I'm familiar with them. Writing canon characters is often harder.
- I can usually be convinced to write some few canon people (MCU men - Tony, Steve, maybe Bruce or Peter... maybe some others if the story's great - Wolverine, Batman, some other Gotham-adjacent guys, Geralt of Rivia, and James Bond are basically the only canons I've ever had any luck with. There are even a couple canon women I've written, all Gotham-y: Barbara Gordon, Stephanie Brown, Carrie Kelly, Selina Kyle... more information in "plot ideas".
- I kind of think that whole secret password thing is silly, but also it's kind of fun... so if you want a bonus point or two, include the phrase "plot explosion" in your subject line.
If you've gotten this far, you deserve to read something enticing and fun now, right? Right.
- I'm not going to send you to a link. I don't have one. I'm pretty simple: I don't go for a lot of very extreme things and I don't love writing characters who are JUST cruel. Writing characters who do cruel things for reasons is fine, but if you just want a motivation-free sadist, I will disappoint.
- I LIKE bondage and possessiveness and control and clothed sex and needy/risky behavior.
- I DISLIKE animal stuff, bathroom stuff, extreme pain/torture
- I phrase things the way I do here because I have, in the past, had hard no's that I was convinced to push past. And you know what? It was fun. I learned that my PRIMARY kink (both in writing and at home, to be honest) is learning how to please my partner and getting really great at it.
- This is not to say that I'll write ANYTHING. I'm middle-of-the-road adventurous. What it does mean is that if we are hitting it off on the writing front, I'll be happy to try and incorporate things you want even if they might not be on my list. Some things will probably never work for me (diapers, watersports, and vore come to mind) but I'm open-minded and pretty eager to please when I find someone I like writing with.
- Typically I write dominant characters - whether that's a major part of the story in a BDSM type way or just a rough dynamic.
- I am open to writing submissive types though haven't got a ton of experience. I am especially drawn to the idea of the bigger/stronger character being somewhat submissive - again, whether that's a literal "smaller, weaker, lady dominant/big strong man submissive" thing or just a rough dynamic.
Exploding Pairings
I have invented a term for what seems to be my usual approach to developing ideas. Can you guess what it is?Yeah, it's exploding pairings. You win.

Okay, so let's go with a comic book nerd sort, which is probably less nerdy now than it used to be... Popular cheerleader captain has it all (though, flexibly, popular boy? Depends who's writing what/what we want) and maybe has some past or slight acquaintance with our nerd. Like, they used to be friends in elementary school or maybe just they're lab partners or whatever. Something freakish happens to popular girl and, long story short, she starts to develop real (and real scary) super powers. Due to our nerds nerdiness, she goes to the nerd for help. Nerd is very jealous, probably, but also really excited to get to know about this. Maybe our nerd wants to push her to going full superhero? Maybe they need to figure out what's what with her powers before they get out of control...
Alternate idea - popular girl is bitten by a werewolf, nerd is a bio-major/biologist/doctor/super genius.
Maybe - the relationship background is being actual family - Jock big man on campus type gets bitten and goes to his brilliant little sister getting her PhD in biochemistry and her MD and whatnot... the changes from the bite make him borderline in heat, so there's some non/dubcon fucking that keeps happening (and she wants more and more) on top of trying to figure shit out.

Let's be briefer.
Teacher is in hiding for a reason (he's a reformed assassin! He's a vampire hunter! He testified against the mob! He (fill in the blank with our thing) ). Teacher is super attractive and very aloof from students, almost all of whom want to get into his (or her) pants. This seems to be because that's how it should be, but there's more to it, obviously.
Our Student wants teacher really bad. Student is smart and persistent and does some digging. Student learns ONLY that teacher's a fraud (NOT WHY) and goes to use this information to leverage/blackmail teacher into (something - "take me right now" to "take me to dinner" to "take me when and how I want you to, and also you're mine now).
Plot Trigger - After exploring this relationship dynamic (I see the student THINKING that it's their ballgame and their in command of the situation and the teacher playing along to some extent while probably taking a bit more control, but it's flexible) we can have the digging the student did end up having tipped off the people searching for the teacher. Suddenly there's assassins or vampires or mobsters or whatever showing up...
Now our teacher has to come even more clean and has to (protect the student? Go on the run? Train the student to help with the fight?) and we get some action and adventure on top of our forbidden blackmail romance thing.
Alternate idea - Mentor/student relationship - warrior/killer/hunter/whatever - I'll go with assassins for ease of explanation. Student is tasked with killing a target - Student is very early in career as a professional killer and thinks it's easy and great. Student's target is Mentor. Not realizing that the target is a legendary and badass assassin, student tries and fails. Mentor spares student for information on what happened and uses student to take down student's own organization. Could be willing assistance or absolutely unwilling/forced or somewhere inbetween.

Settings and Cravings
I'm not going to put any plots here. I like coming up with them and I really like coming up with them together. I like when you come to me with some cravings of your own and we can figure out a way to make that into something fun for both of us. I also would love to hear something fleshed out, but please give me room to define my own character to some extent. I do want to play to my partner, but I don't want to just deliver reaction to help you write a thing you could write solo. Contributing to the story and keeping things surprising and fun is kind of the point. That being said, there are certain types of stories or settings that I find myself drawn to more than others.

I bet you read through all that (did you? I know it was a lot, so thanks) and figure I'm only into big developed stories that will last FOREVER. Well, typically you're right, but this is an adult RP site and I wouldn't mind some things that cut to the chase. Maybe we could see how compatible we are by taking a stab at something quick and dirty... maybe we just contrive something that starts out hot and heavy and then the consequences of that are our plot. NOT pregnancy, so much as that hookup kick-starts the plot.
I would be excited to figure out something low-fantasy or even just realistic but this person is being scammed or going crazy involving dopplegangers.
I've never written anything about corruption/stockholm syndrome. I have a kind of an idea involving saving the world and also YC being kidnapped and dragged along on an adventure that could be fun to try this with.
Kinda want to write a futa-type. Have an idea for a super-soldier type (imagine Black Widow but with a big secret that she's pretty ashamed of) opposite a civilian hacker/astrophysicist/necessary helper type who is more than happy to return the life-saving favor by helping our girl feel better about those urges and that... big... problem.
I'm craving YOUR big hard-to-fill desires (no pun intended).
