Elsa, the new queen, sat on the bench on the balcony just outside of the King's suite. She looked at the foreign town below, she felt so sad. She didn't know that town, she didn't know the people, how could she be a good Queen to them? She and the king had worked things out a little bit, they had decided to 'start over' and try to get to know eachother the right way, but she still didn't trust him. She still didn't want to be with him. She wanted to go back home.

She sighed and wrapped her arms around herself, her dark blue gown a little too tight for her tastes. Her breasts were bulging up over the top of the bodice, as the King liked. Her dark hair was piled on top of her head in curls, she preferred for it to be down. She heard noise from within the suite and turned her head, hoping he would let her stay outside awhile longer.

He pulled his boots on and walked briefly past the door on his way to the balcony, "Elsa, could you please join me", it was not a request, his tone made that much obvious. He was trying to come up with a deserved method of punishment, for she had disobeyed him and even though they were starting anew it was not something you could let go of easily in his country. He grabbed his cane on the way onto the balcony.

She stood slowly and walked over to him, her eyes widening when she saw the cane in his hand. Her body muscles tensed up and she backed away from him a few steps. "Did you need something?" she asked him as pleasantly as she could, trying to keep with the 'starting over' thing. The cane in his hand didn't suggest starting over, it suggested punishment. Punishment was the last thing she wanted.

He moved so that he blocked the exit, but he did it in such a way that no threat was shown. "Well, we may have a bit of a problem, you see, in my country when someone is wronged they are allowed their revenge free of controls", he sighed when he looked at her. "I hate to ruin that body of yours, but I must set an example for my people".

Her eyes grew even wider and she trembled, her hands wringing in front of her. "You're...you're going to beat me?" she stammered, taking a step forwards towards the door, but he stepped in front of it before she could. She swallowed anxiously and glanced around, she was stuck out on the balcony with him. Would he really hit her?

"Oh you make me sound so brutal, its more of a lesson in some ways", he smiled sweetly as he took the first swing, being careful not to do too much visual damage. "Don't worry, it will be over soon", the swings were graceful, yet powerful, they showed how his training had paid off. There was not a swordsman who could match him, or at least none he had met.

Tears welled up in her eyes at the first hit. Her arm stung, she could felt the bruise forming there. The second hit was harder to take, as she was already in pain. The tears spilled over and she whimpered, flinching as the cane came towards her. She crumpled down to her knees in a permanent flinch, holding her wounds and cringing away from him. He didn't even seem to care that he was hurting her. That he was damaging her body, that he was hurting her soul.

He whipped the cane around one final time and brought it to a stop just inches from her head, "Now, are you going to behave yourself?", he raised it again, "Or must I resume the lesson?". His face was calm, almost curious to see her reaction, "Come now, answer me!".

She flinched when he came towards her head, nearly screaming. "Yes, yes! I'll...I'll behave," she shouted, her heart thumping wildly in her chest. She was trying to control the sobs that wanted to explode from inside of her. "I promise, I promise!" at this moment, all she wanted was for him not to hit her again.

He sighed and looked at her sadly, "I hope it does not have to come to this again, it is not fair on you and I do not like it at all", his eyes showed no sign of deceit. He knelt and gently helped her up, "Come now, you must rest, and I shall sent for a doctor", he forced a smile.

She let him help her up, holding onto his hand rather tightly when he lifted her up. She shook her head slowly, "No, no..I don't need a doctor. I'm..." she forced a smile as well, wincing every time she moved, "I'm fine." she didn't want a doctor to see her beaten up like this, bruises all over her body. She was just grateful he didn't hit her face this time.
