It was just another day of classes for Arin, the six foot four sophomore made his way back to his dorm, but couldn't seem to get his mind of his classmate that he eyed from across their class. She was so gorgeous and he had never felt like this about any girl. Ever since his ex shattered his heart, he didn't spend time trying to date, but she was different. It was like she made him forget all about the scars and only focused on her. As if she had him under some kind of spell. He unlocked his door and walked in dropping his bag as he laid on his bed exhausted after a long day.
 
Kelly sighed and then rolled her neck as she listened to her instructor lecture about the second world war. Kelly was mostly board as she had lived through both the first and second world war but if she wasnted to fit in that time period then she needed to get her college degree like everyone else.
 
Arin looked up at the ceiling and blushed deeply thinking about Kelly. He smiled thinking about how much he admired her and wanted to ask her out. He sat up and decided to take a walk around campus. He made his way over the pond and thought he would make his way towards the building where Kelly was in class an wait outside for her.
 
in the middle of class Kelly's professor decided that they would have a pop quiz as he wanted to see who was paying attention and who wasn't. Kelly leaned back and wondered how much of a pain it was going to be. when Kelly received her quiz she couldn't help but smile at the extra credit question
 
Arin looked out at the pond across from the building and began to skip rocks wondering how he would ask Kelly out. His heart raced nervously at the thought as he tried not to question himself about it. He then made his way back to the building and looked or her class.
 
Kelly worked through her pop quiz and when she reached the extra credit question it took all she had to not laugh 'many historians believe that the female seen in photos during WWII is the same as what other photos' Kelly filled out the answer stating that they believe she was the same woman from WWI but couldn't find any evidence of her aging or being a citizen of any country that worked as a nurse during the wars
 
Arin sat in the lobby and began seeing other classmates leaving and knew it was only a matter of time. His heart raced as he knew it wouldn't be long before Kelly made her way from her class. "You can do this," he said to himself as he tried to swallow his nervousness.
 
Kelly finished her quiz and then turned it in happy to be done with the class early. after she turned it in she packed her things up and headed out of hte classroom so she could head to the library
 
Seeing Kelly walk out of the building, Arin walked up to her still nervous. His heart raced as he looked at how gracefully she walked as slowly spoke out to her. "Hey Kelly.....Kelly!"
 
"I don't, I.......I've been wanting to ask you something," Arin said as he looked at Kelly blushing deeply. His heart raced as he looked at her, in awe of her beauty. "Would you like to hang out sometime?"
 
Kelly looked at him and then blinked a little before she nodded her head lightly “sure I would like that” not wanting to hurt him she let him know that she had to get to her next class and that she would see him later
