Issue Small highlight that deletes text in front whenever I type

I've had this issue before and somehow solved it, though it's come back. I've tried a lot of different fixes, including logging off and back on. Anything I can try to get rid of this?

This helped me as well, not even sure how I had that turned on!

It use to be so easy to hit insert when it had own key on keyboard. Now most of the time I see it as a second choice on a key for something else that requires extra step to turn it on.
