Roy Harper drove up to Wayne Manor which was on the outskirts of Gotham City. He was visiting his friend Jason Todd. Jason was the vigilante Robin, well the second Robin. Dick Grayson was the first also a friend. Jason and Roy both were street orphans who were taken in by a vigilante who was really a playboy philanthropist.

Oliver Queen was the Green Arrow and Bruce Wayne was the Batman. They understood each other enough to share their secret identities, and as a result both Jason and Roy knew each other through association. Jason was a cocky little shit, seventeen years old but already carving out a career for himself as the new Robin. But he was far more violent then Grayson had been.

Roy knocked on the door. Bruce was overseas with his butler Alfred and Jason was home alone. Roy had been given the suggestion for Oliver that he should come over and hang out with Jason. Roy was reluctant because Jason was a lot to deal with. He was overconfident and cocky and did not play well with others. Roy was two years older and he had some of his own rough edges smoothed out. Oliver was a good mentor and friend for him. Bruce was a lot tougher then oliver, Dick had given him horror storys when they started out as sidekicks. Jason had recently been on a mission with the other Teen Titans, it hadn't ended well. Donna who was the current team leader was rather short with Todd when he went off on his own.

Roy knocked again on the door. He had his costume in the back of his seat. He guessed Jason might want to suit up as Robin and Arsenel respectively and go into the city. But as Oliver had asked him, he was here to "Keep an eye" on the new Robin. Jason had been Robin now for nearly nine months and faced the likes of Two Face, Manbat, Mr Freeze, Poison Ivy to name a few. He could hold himself well in the field but he battled random thugs alittle hard. Roy had been the same when he first started but he since had learned to temper his rage.

Jason was bored out of his mind, trapped in the Wayne Manor until the return of one Bruce Wayne. His mentor and superhero superior in the famous Batman of Gotham City. The black-haired punk was busy relaxing in the manor, lazing about as he did his best to entertain himself. His hand-throwing a nondescript ball against the wall of one of the manor walls. The ball smacking against the wall, before bouncing back to him correctly. Jason's entertainment item hit against the wall, barely avoiding decorations that adorned the Wayne Manor walls. Apparently, Bruce was out on a mission that was deemed highly crucial in talks with the rest of the Justice League members. When he proposed that he should come along, Bruce rejected his offer, giving him that same sternly statement that it was too dangerous for him. Or that Jason wasn't ready yet. That irritated Jason to no end, how was Bruce to know if he was ready or not if he was never involved in these deemed high-stakes missions? Jason and his mentor had been busting some of the most dangerous criminals in all of existence within the span of a few years. Time and time again, he succeeded. It didn't matter at the end of the day, he'd just have to work harder to prove that he was ready. His throwing and boredom ceased when Jason heard the sound of Alfred clearing his throat. The former street tough-looking over to see the gentlemanly butler standing at attention, with a less than impressed expression on his face.

"Master Harper is here, Master Todd," Alfred stated before taking his leave. Jason rolled his eyes at the formality of the butler, calling him 'master.' Roy's arrival was a surprise to the young hero. No doubt, Oliver and Bruce had set something up to prevent them from getting into trouble on their own unsupervised. Though, it only meant that with the two of them together, more than likely, they were to cause problems. Unless they were under the watchful eyes of an ever knowing butler. Jason thanked Alfred on his way to the door, opening the door to spot the older teenager. A similar less than pleased expression on Harper's face. Jason crossing his arms as he leaned against the door frame of the large Wayne Manor.

"Let me guess. Bow and Arrow set you up here?" Jason asked.

Roy smirked at the sheer cockiness that was been showcased by Mr Teague. He was a complete asshole sometimes and he was always getting into trouble. Roy had been like that when he first was recruited by Oliver. He was a poor street kid in Star City before he was taken in by the Green Arrow. But since he got older and having friends like Dick, Wally and Donna had really helped him to mature and be the better version of himself. Dick had said however that Jason was even more of a wild child and rebel then he himself had been. Dick didn't have alot of patience for Jason because it was all messed up with his own relationship with Bruce. Jason guessed his presence here was the idea of his mentor Oliver Queen. "Yup." Roy said with a small laugh as he looked down at his feet and then up at the current "Robin" of Gotham City. "Is that so bad? You know some people actully consider me a fun guy." Roy said in his casual and carefree manner.

Jason couldn't help but roll his eyes as he looked over at Roy seeing him sigh as he expressed just how much fun he could be. "You know, if you have to tell someone you're fun, typically means you're kind of dull." Jason teased a bit with a smirk, leaning over the couch to look at his fellow member of the next generation. "Hell, who knows, maybe you can prove me wrong." Jason adds, getting up off his seated position catching the ball with incredible reflexes. "You'll have to show me just how fun you are later tonight when I show just how to be a real crime fighter. Hopefully Star City hasn't made ya too soft." Jason finishes, signalling for Roy to follow him.
