...but is there a better time of day in general to bump an RT as opposed to others? Keep in mind that I am in the EST/EDT time zone so any answer to my question should preferably be adjusted to reflect that. Thanks!

Personally, I save my bumps for the afternoon to early evening. More of a chance of it being seen, I think.

Kinda depends really. I don't think there is a bad time, but I would say when you're normally most active or free would be a good time, as it's an indicator of when you're around? I tend to bump my own threads around seven my time, it just worked out best.

Switch it up every day. I feel like that way you get exposure to most people's schedules. You can also use that as an experiment and see how many people message you as you bump at different times.

My last was at about 2PM EST. To good results. I think you should try at different times, but bumping daily is a good way to stay atop those request threads.
