Hey there! This is my plot driven search, where unlike my other threads I look to mainly focus on the story/character development. I've recently felt like doing these kinds of story driven plots again, after having struggled with a lack of motivation and energy to do so. Fortunately my inspiration is back and I'm ready to tackle writing properly again! I already was looking for one of these plots for a while (the popular girl x nerd one) and I do already have a partner for it, but I wanted to add an additional plot and still felt like keeping it here in case someone might be interested in trying it out!
The plots are the following:
A little bit about myself: I'm a male, currently 21 years of age. I've had experience in roleplaying for about 5-6 years, and experience in ERP for about 2 years. I don't really know what else to put here, so if you want to know more about me personally then feel free to ask!
When it comes to reply length, I try to match whatever my partner is doing. The roleplays I've done have been vastly different regarding reply length. I've done roleplays where 1 paragraph was the average, I've done roleplays where 6 paragraphs were the average, honestly it doesn't really matter all that much to me. Feel free to let me know what you're comfortable with. As long as you have decent grammar or better then you're pretty much set! I prefer third person, but I don't mind playing first person if that is what you want.
Regarding smut, though I usually look for roleplays that focus more on the smut side of things, for these plots I don't really care all that much. Honestly, I care more about their relationship and how it evolves than I do about them having sex. If you want to have a lot of smut in there then that's fine, so long as it isn't so much that it doesn't take away from the story. Feel free to discuss smut/plot ratios with me! Honestly I'd be okay with a completely non-erotic roleplay as well, these plots aren't really oriented to have smut in them anyway. If there's gonna be smut then it's probably going to be improvised on the spot.
Since I mainly want these roleplays to focus on romance rather than smut, I don't really care too much about the kinks that are included (if you're looking for something kinkier, feel free to look at my other threads~). I'd honestly be okay with purely vanilla, if you want something like that. If you do still want at least some kinks in there, I'll leave a small list of kinks that I'm into, though none of these need to be included by any means! Likewise, regarding who's dom and who's sub, I'd be okay if there was no such dynamic in there, but if you really want to have such a dynamic, I do prefer to play as a sub (but can play switch if you want me to).

There is a kingdom. This kingdom is prospering really well, but there are still two things that it's lacking: a court sorcerer, and a mentor to the crown princess, who's said to be the next heir to the throne in upcoming years. The king is already getting quite old, so it was for the better if they got such a person sooner rather than later, preferably one who could do both such things. Of course, they couldn't just take any random mage from the street, so the royal family was holding trials for anyone interested in such a position.
Many mages from all over the country applied, though none of them managed to impress the royal family. Their magical abilities were average at best, not to mention them not really being wise enough to be a tutor for the princess. Either that or they were so old that they would most likely die before the princess would ascend to the throne, which would make all effort be for nothing. But then, a mysterious traveler appeared... A man who seemed to be in his mid twenties, who also happened to be a mage. He didn't apply for the court sorcerer title, he just happened to be in town when he heard about the situation. He wasn't all too interested, though he wouldn't necessarily decline if he was offered the title. Well, let that be what happened: for whatever reason (we can discuss what this reason is, like he could get into a fight with someone for example and he'd just be protecting himself and someone from the royal family/guard happened to see it), he was offered the title and he accepted. However, he would soon realize that the other part of the deal, the raising of a queen, was much more difficult than he expected... The princess, for whatever reason (which can be discussed as well), did not want him tutoring her, or even interacting with her at all. There was no chemistry between them, which was quite worrying considering the future of the country was at stake... How will this problem be solved?
This plot doesn't have a set direction yet, we can discuss the direction we can take and a bunch of plot points as well! One thing I should note, I plan to have my character shrouded in mystery for a good while of the roleplay, especially his past. So I will leave some details out about him. I hope you don't mind!

The reason that I got this craving is because I actually read a manga (It actually got an anime now, too! It's finished now!) a few months back (didn't really get super far into it back then, but now I've actually completely caught up!) that kinda reminded me of what I'm thinking of - called My Dress-Up Darling, which I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with because it got insanely popular! For those who aren't familiar with it, I'll quickly describe the plot of the manga: There is this lonely, reserved dude with no friends who liked sewing clothes for hina dolls, and then there was this popular gyaru type that happened to be into cosplaying. When she found out about his hobby she asked him to sew clothes for her, since it would help with her cosplays. It popped up into my mind one day and I felt like trying something similar to it!
I'm not looking to do this plot specifically, just something that's in that direction. Nerdy, introverted guy has hobby, gyaru/popular girl (the girl in this image doesn't need to be your ref, but if you want to use her then definitely feel free to!) finds out, she approaches him about it and things go from there. Not really a deep plot or anything, just something fluff and nice! I'm mainly doing this to write a nice love story between two people who live in opposite worlds. The hobby they could have is up for discussion, though I'm personally considering games, anime and/or stargazing (though stargazing is something that's probably better if it isn't the main hobby, but rather something aside from the hobby that will bring them together). An idea for if they are interested in games is that the girl could have started with a game, but can't get past a certain point. The boy could be an expert at the game and have beaten the game many times, and once the girl figures out he played the game she could ask for help. Let me know any ideas you might have for yourself for topics they could be interested in!
