No need to name-drop. What is it about and what makes it so engaging? Would love to hear about what makes others so excited to write and why so. Also a really good opportunity to anonymously praise some stellar RPers here!
 
Well, I'm down to two RP's that haven't gone on 'unannounced pause' or worse. But I'm very into both.

One is a multi-character cyberpunk story. I'm playing a stripper/activist, a hound, and a goody-two-shoes ex-veteran cop.
The other is ancient gladiator scenario with a sex cult to make it interesting. I'm playing a noob who's currently enduring what happens to losers in his first match, a barbarian who's been in the games for a while, and an educated but poor guy who's trying to get into the cult.

Basically, I get really into multi-character stories because I like the setting, and I get to play different flavors of personalities and sexual scenarios without having to start a new game.
 
I love all my stories, but my current obsession is probably my pulpy treasure hunting rp. I am currently playing two characters, who are reimagined versions of characters I previously played. One is a librarian/scholar who also serves as an agent for a criminal syndicate/ group of freedom fighters, and the other is the head of said group.

It's so much fun reimagining my characters in a new settings, but I am particularly enjoying the bit of gun play smut we have going between a pair of characters who are a couple in their original rp. With control of the scene swapping every couple posts as our characters fight over a gun while fooling around, each new post I get for that rp leaves me going "oh fuck."

So yeah, 12/10. Heccin good rp.
 
Hrmmm. This is tricky. I don't particularly want to single any person out as being a greater RP'er over any others. I really enjoy all my RP's, and wouldn't want anyone to feel bad.

But I will say one RP I've always wanted to do but haven't really been able to do until this partner came along, and we discussed an anime-esque magical girl styled RP where a guy sort of gets roped into the magical girl business somewhat against his will, as both his sister and mother are/were magical girls and it sort of runs in the game, with him being no exception. Now he has a lot more to deal with when it comes to overprotective family, eventual threats to his life, and a slew of other girls he'll be dealing with. I'm already having a lot of fun with the beginning and I can't wait to develop the story further.
 
Doing a massive League of Legends project at the moment with an amazing storyteller and we're covering a lot of ground all over Runeterra. Right now, we're focusing on a date between Ezreal and Lux, and they've discovered that the other is going to be in the League of Legends that is starting in a few days. The hormones are beginning to run wild, plus something beneath the skin; Lux helps Ezreal realize he's actually more like a mage than a daring explorer. Their mana is joining and mixing together with contact only they don't really know it yet, but the benefits are like cranking happiness up from 100% to 200%, so that when they actually split it's like entering a mini depression. She's really into the power of love trope and that pairing is how we're gonna make that trope happen most!

I'm also having Kayn approach Syndra on Zed's behalf to add her power to the ranks of the Order of Shadow. She just flung open the doors to her temple and demands answers as to how he maneuvered past her wards... while eying him ;3 Because solitude can make a powerful sorceress quite lonely~

Zed and Akali reunited after the former assassinated their mentor, and they discovered the feelings they've carried for each other since youth haven't wavered. We completed a love scene recently that I'm thrilled about, but it really makes me want to introduce Shen in the story soon to speak to Akali about why she vanished from the Kinkou Order to align with Zed again. It's one of those stories where the interaction and the smut are equally thrilling and I can't decide what I love more.

Currently on pause is Sett meeting Soraka for the first time and looking to... talk~
Ekko is meant to come home and find Jinx hiding under his bed after narrowly escaping Piltover's authorities.

And that's not even half the stories we've got planned going on.

Sylas escaping Demacia with his fellow Mages to reach the Freljord and align with Sejuani.
Garen and Katarina having a secret love affair.
Ahri departing from the Star Guardians after a series of major mistakes and traveling with Yone.

...and several more!

This person is also an amazing Tifa Lockhart and I've had a lot of fun working on a FF7 one-shot with her involving Cloud working to overcome all his depression and guilt following the ending of the first game. We're probably going to go full AU if we ever continue and not let Advent Children play out the same because I dislike a lot of how Cloud handled his issues. Our smut scenes are amazing together, and the dialogue shared even more <3
 
Well, it's not officially an RP yet, but I'm helping a friend work on a cute little school RP. Basically, it's centered around an academy for those with physical disabilities, based off of and set in the same universe as a visual novel called Katawa Shoujo. I'm making a depressed half-Japanese otaku with severe cystic fibrosis, and my friend is making a brother duo, with one of them having narcolepsy. I really like the game it's based off of, so I'm super excited to start it!

That's actually a really fun idea! It reminds me of a D&D story where a guy was told they were playing a super dark, gritty urban fantasy campaign, so he made this edgy warlock that's sold his soul to demons to save humanity from them, only to discover it was actually a magical girl anime, and there's just this edgelord driving anime girls around in his Ford Pinto, held together by a mixture of duck tape, dark magic, and willpower.

I've seen that story, yeah. I love it - even if it's not 'true' it's still a fantastic idea. I've always enjoyed magical girl stuff I admit, so getting to play around with it on our terms (My partner and I's) is a lot of fun.

Can't say I'm a huge magical girl fan, but I'm glad you're enjoying it!
 
In one of my stories my character is a streamer who finds herself kidnapped by a convicted rapist. The man had been wrongfully accused and sent to jail by MC's mom.

His original intentions had been to kidnap the mom but upon finding out she'd passed away during his years in prison, he elects to go for the daughter instead. He captures her and sexually abuses her while messing with her brain through the use of aphrodisiacs. She ends up falling for him in a classic Stockholm Syndrome fashion.

I like it because it combines elements of consensual scenes and non-consensual scenes. The sexual tension was well controlled, and they both learn to appreciate one another and learn from them. She teaches him that someone out there believes he was innocent, and will see that he has the capacity to empathize. He helps her discover that her parents were criminal masterminds and that she's better off with him instead. Its a short story but I think its well built and written for how compact we wanted it to be.
 
I have 3 stories on other platforms right now. With all of them I’m finding the appeal is multiple characters. But, the one it’s def the Amy of world building we have methoded out so their characters make sense. So she just isn’t a shy girl - she remembers closing into her shell at this point around this trigger. And each individual character kink/personality differs them just like normal people. So they might all accept anal play but not everyone enjoys it and not to the same levels.
 
It started out as just an experiment for my partner to try out some new kinks she thought she was interested in. We both made our characters basically caricatures. Mine is a 6'2" guy with the body of a Greek God and a cock to make a pornstar jealous. Her's is a rich sociopath who doesn't experience emotions like most people. It was just supposed to be a quick smut focused story. They met while he was performing on an adult cam site. She began paying him to allow her to control his orgasm and eventually peg and dominate him. No emotions. Just sex.

Over a year later they're now dating and working through their respective traumas together and we're both rooting for them to get together. He was emotionally abused by his parents as a child so he clings to any sort of affection, even if it's toxic. She's still emotionally stunted and afraid that she'll never be able to give him what he wants/needs and is afraid of hurting him. A big turning point in their relationship was when he got stabbed in a mugging gone wrong and she had to grapple with the idea of losing him.
 
It's about a married couple who had a conversation about their celebrity hall pass or free pass, in other words which celebrity would they be allowed to have sex with if the situation presented itself. The wife actually ends up meeting her hall pass and after a while starts an affair with him without her husband knowing which is against the concept of the hall pass as they are supposed to be open about it. There is a lot more to it but that is the basics.
 
On Gaia i'm doing a Sonic RP that's focused on OC's that takes place after Forces. It's been a blast since my partner's Team and my Teams get along so well and we've got a stellar cast of fleshed out OCs. Plus i've been going absolute ham on making some terrifying villains for the heroes to fight. Like an escaped convict named Zappa, A sort of morally grey Tiger named Gaolan and Dr. G.Nome.
 
Im doing one that is "last hero on earth" style and the romance blossoming between the 2 characters is really making me enjoy it. Also my partner id super super enthusiastic and i find myself liking it more than her at certain points. And SHE was the one that requested the rp lol. Im hooked now. I read it over and over and am thoroughly enjoying it
 
I enjoy all my current RPs equally, but I’ll always have a special place in my heart for In the Shadow of the Ocean with @PhoenixRising82. Not only is it the start of my series of connected steampunk fantasy RPs that I’m really proud of, but the characters involved, the chemistry, the plot have all made it my longest running one too. (That and a few RL delays but that happens to everyone.)
 
Hm honestly my favorite right now is about a vampire rockstar who meets a boy in a bar and they hook up, possible Stockholm syndrome and kidnapping involved, we aren’t that far into the story however I think I like it the most because the person I’m writing against only replies once in a while which leaves me on the edge of my seat fiending for more LOL.
My other favorite would definitely be the fast and furious spin off I’m doing also not very far into it but more regular responses

HOWEVER I love all of my role plays I do otherwise I wouldn’t do them 🥰
 
I am quite blessed with partners of the absolute highest caliber. It is a true pleasure to be able to write stories with them, but I will most definitely refuse to answer this specifically as I wish to not sow seeds of doubt in my most capable partners and friends.
 
I think I've finally found the Lady for my Dante and I'm loving it. We see eye to eye on a lot of matters in the DMC fandom, and they've been incredibly receptive to my ideas and adding some of their own to help perfect it. Plotting was fun, and though we're only just getting started on the actual roleplay, I'm in love with everything about it so far. The best is yet to come~

Wait... you're teaching Dante what sex is? You fool! Don't you know that the reason every villain in DMC turns evil is because they know what sex is?! You've doomed us all!
 
Lady and the Demon // Devil May Cry

So Lady was holding her own against a Hell Caina possessed by Malphas, as well as empowered Hell Pride's, but it was a losing battle; similar to the Vergil battle's in DMC3, we want a three act structure for a rivalry between Malphas and Lady. Anyway, Dante saves her from certain death as planned, but he's Dante so obviously he's going to talk a little shit about the ongoing circumstances; Lady's cut to shit, a motorcycle he left for her was destroyed in the skirmish, and the amulet he left in her care is absent. He gives her a chance to explain what happened, and Lady just unloads on this man for what I estimate might be close to a minute of dumping all the information that happened after he left that morning to take care of a few things, and blaming him for being gone for so long to enable this entire situation to happen in the first place.

I get to write Dante reacting to an entire minute of Lady nagging him, as well as Malphas realizing she's been outwitted and never even realized it, all in the same reply.

Funniest scene I've read in a long ass time.
 
My wife and I have been doing DnD OCs and I've been exploring playing a half orc and their struggle with the orc blood driving him a little mad. Especially during the bone time.
