In ages past, Naegrav was home to a band of adventurers known far and wide as "The Vigil". Their prowess was unmatched, their skills and magics the most potent. They formed to answer the call for protectors of their realm, slaying the creatures such as orcs and goblins who were corrupted by an unknown force, brought into existence from another plane.
It wasn't until a run-in with a Draco Lich Known as Nuram Varik, the cause of the corrupting influence, that the party was truly challenged. Nuram was eventually slain. But all was not well, as a young witch named Evanora, became enthralled and possessed in secret by the creature. Biding its time after eating Evanora's soul, it finally struck, murdering the witches brother, the King of Naegrav, and talking control. Using his new vessels near limitless power and influence, Nuram tricked the people of Naegrav into hating The Vigil, and hunted them down, killing them one by one, until they were, presumably all dead.
Now, Nuram, wearing Evanora's corpse, sits on his throne, unchallenged....

That's the rough setting for the world we'll be roleplaying in, at least for this idea. My idea for the world outside of the tale above, is that one of The Vigil, (MC) is still alive, working as an innkeep in the small village of Bristol. A few adventurers from time to time stop by, and no one recognized the innkeeps face at all, assuming him to be a nobody.
(YC) would then come to the village at the request of one of the elders. The rough idea would be that there is a standing order for soldiers and adventurers alike that if anyone even remotely sympathetic to any of the Vigil members says so, or promotes their ideals, is to be captured, or, at the least, killed on sight. Your character would be a fledgling adventurer, who is there to get her start and has a lot of interactions with the smith, who also helps her find work.
The genre I usually play with in this boils down to a mix of High Fantasy and Steampunk influences. (Essentially, Airships and trains are included)
But, before you send me anything, I'll give you a few quick notes about myself as a role player:
-I'm a semi literate roleplayer
-I've been role playing for ten + years
-I match post length, and post extra when my muse hits the right way.
-My characters aren't brooding/emo, and have a wide range of emotions. I hate static characters and tend to lean away from them. I ESPECIALLY love conflicted characters.
-This is not a role play request that is going to be heavy smut based. I think that this deserves a more story focused approach.
-I am a busy person, so semi frequently is about what I can promise on. At least one post every two days.
What I'm expecting:
-Semi literate partner
-Posts semi frequently
-Give me enough content to work with!
-Preference on, if pics are used, anime styled pfp
-More plot, much less smut (in spite of my other posts on this website), about 90% to 10% plot to smut respectively
-Be friendly in OOC chat! I'm not a creeper, I won't hit on you or flirt. But making friends with RP partners helps get the creative juices flowing.
-someone who wants to help world build, and keep the idea's creative, and fun.
My Rules:
-PLEASE don't ghost me! If you don't want to RP anymore, or you've gotten bored, just give me a heads up. Don't be rude.
-If I say no to a particular kink for my character (again, if that scene happens), than it's a hard no. Please don't continually try to convince me to do something. No does mean no.
-Please keep to a semi-literate, semi-frequent posting schedule. however...\
-If, at any point, life gets in the way, please let me know. It happens to the best of us, and I won't be upset! I just would like a headsup if theirs going to be a delay in a post.
-Be respectful, and friendly.
And, as with all of my rules and expectations, I will follow them as well.
If, at any point, there is a smutty scene that happens based on where the plot goes, I do have an idea on how my character will be if that were to happen. It can be discussed away from this thread, cause this is about the plot, specifically, not the random scene that may, or may not, happen.
Outside of that, I'd love to chat with whoever is wanting to roleplay this idea and work on it together. This is a very rough idea, and I look forward to hearing from someone soon!
P.S.: Make sure to post "BANANA" in the message title to show you read everything, even the rules. This is a requirement or you won't be considered. I have very limited openings for this, only a few in total. Work is hell!
