Hey there!
Basically for the past several months I have only wanted to play a specific male character and it's been pretty therapeutic for me, but I figured instead of searching constantly for other people's RT's where he might work, I'd just make one and see if anyone's interested. Looking for one more partner. I know this is a long shot but I promise I'll bring a ton of passion to my writing and hope that you also create a character that is just as rewarding for yourself to play. Saying up front that I’m looking for a partner that loves reading and writing long detailed posts.
A b o u t _ m e :
-16 years RP experience
-31 year old overly enthusiastic and panicky cinnamon roll
- I’m nonbinary. I know that's a no go for some people who want to play with strictly dudes.
- I REALLY love writing and my posts can get fairly large: usually 3-10 paragraphs. I would love to find a partner that is just as crazy about writing as I am. I spend a lot of time with my character's thoughts and feelings and I'm pretty much addicted to reading content like that from my partners as well. Character development is where it's at!

-Post frequency does vary. If I'm addicted and don’t have anything going on I could post multiple times a day. Most rps it's once every few days. If I'm depressed or something it's once a week. I always do my best to communicate but if you're ever concerned just ask me.
- Ghost friendly. If you disappear without warning it's the not the end for us if you decide later you want to give it another shot. I understand how insane life can be sometimes. I've ghosted before when I've totally lacked the emotional and physical energy to do ANYTHING so I get it. It sucks but it's unfortunately part of rping. I'll appreciate you forever if you warn me before you disappear though.
A b o u t _ h i m :
My character is average height and average build. He knows how to laugh and have fun. He cares about YC and her feelings. He's also scrappy and passionate, deeply protective and self sacrificing- even to a fault, and fiercely vengeful and bloodthirsty to anyone he views as a threat against YC or his friends. A soft boy until the beloved people in his life are threatened and then his anger is an inferno. Can be a bit paranoid and suffers from hyper vigilance.

Occupation: Witch. Has magical talent. He has a bounty on his head and lives his life perpetually on the run. He's also a barista.
Age: 18-25. Whatever feels good to you in that range.
Height: 5'10"
Appearance: Bright and striking blue eyes, messy black hair, angular jaw. Lean muscular build- obviously fit but built for agility. Covered in a general smattering of scars, nothing too major. He has an obvious burn on his left shoulder, and a few occult tattoos of sigils- usually concealed under his clothing. I can provide artwork upon request.
Background: I can provide this once we start chatting too. I just didn’t want to crowd my RT with it
W h a t _ I _ l i k e :
-Anime, drawn references, or face claims in that order of preference. I love beautiful artwork and love imagining our characters in a pretty anime setting but I know this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and can provide pictures of real humans.
-Romance! I love passion and angst and fluff. I really like when two characters have to explore and negotiate their differences and flaws while loving each other the best they can, even if it's imperfectly. I want to explore our character's motivations and self defeating behaviors as well as growth and all the while they're there for each other and genuinely in love. I don’t love enemies to lovers- I really need a baseline of pleasantness between our characters and a sense that they have each other’s backs from the start.
- Fantasy. I prefer modern fantasies lately but medieval is fine too. I just don't like realism. Specifically I really love magic, demons and demonic possession, ghosts, witchcraft, monsters, secret societies, and cults. Creepy fantasy with plenty of combat.
- Action. Cuddles and fluff are the backbone but action is also necessity. I just love fight scenes and chase scenes and violence too much so be prepared for an inherently action packed rp. That said I enjoy violence most when it also has some weight to it- like I’d prefer it if we weren’t just slaughtering a bunch of nameless NPCs. Killing people takes a toll.
- Power imbalances. What I mean is I REALLY love when our characters are on the run and much weaker and have access to fewer resources than the foes they are pitted against. I really like situations where our characters have to scrape together survival, they get hurt, and when there are consequences to their actions. No invulnerable or overly powerful characters please.
- My character being in the role of protector. Not to say necessarily that your character needs to be completely defenseless or without her own set of powers but I like situations where MC is assisting her and helping keep her safe.
- 70/30 or 60/40 plot to smut with plenty of affectionate touches and flirting sprinkled throughout. I view sex as an extension of affection between our characters and I care way more about the emotional impact of such scenes than the smut itself. No forced smut, all of it should have a focus on the emotions, and all of it should serve the plot and characters- not the other way around.

since we're on the subject of smut now I'll just put out some basics. Feel free to tell me if there are things you'd love to see in our rp and we can discuss it. Oh and I'll say this: I loosely consider myself a switch. I don't love traditional D/s roles and find them confining but am absolutely happy to have MC initiate and lead the action in the bedroom with the hopes that YC might have moments where she isn't afraid to take charge or start things when the inspiration strikes her.

-YC is a regular at MC‘s coffee shop (he’s a barista, remember?) He develops a crush on her- either requited or unrequited- and when someone unsavory follows her out of the shop one day, he decides to intervene, resulting in a violent scene that forces him to use magic in front of her.
-YC is in an abusive living situation, MC decides to risk blowing his cover in order to help her get out of it
-YC is on the run herself and MC figures it out and wants to help her
-YC is a traveler, fed up with the disappointments in her life and searching for something better. Unfortunately a rampaging spirit ruins her vacation and MC isn’t far behind it.
-YC is obsessed with the supernatural and is extremely astute and observant. She discovers MC is a witch despite all his efforts to appear normal and decides to confront him about it
-MC is attacked by other witches and YC witnesses all of it, exposing her to danger and forcing MC to reveal his situation to her
-YC is cursed and desperate to find a way to lift it. On her travels she runs into MC and he finds her situation compelling. Perhaps he is not talented or knowledgeable enough to lift such a powerful curse himself and they must bargain with other more powerful witches or steal ingredients from them.
