A cool breeze blew through the forest cooling the face of a young girl. It was rather hot out today and anything of that nature was welcome. She brushed her long raven black hair over her shoulder as she walked along. "Boy and I thought home was bad." She thought coming to rest beside a large creek. Being a native of the sand village, heat was nothing new but this was a whole new level of it. Her blue eyes focused on the creek wishing she could just shed her clothes off and indulge in it's, no doubt, icy waters. But she was only passing through and there was no time for any serious breaks. This was only a momentary breather. She fanned herself with her hand wondering why her skin hadn't turned any shade of tan already. It was still as pale as ever.

"Fucking piece of shit Kakuzu." Hidan snarled as he made his way through the forest. "All he gives a shit about is money, money this, money that..I don't need fucking money." He said angrily as he moved along. He occasionally flicked his shoulder length pale blond hair back from his face as he moved along. Growling slightly he made his way through the bushes kicking them from his path. His slightly effeminate face, pale blue eyes, and slightly curled lip might have some consider him a dandy but it couldn't be further from the truth. The plated headband about his throat with a slice through the clan's symbol marked him as a missing nin, and the deep black robe with red clouds that covered him marked him a member of Akatsuki. The Santai ring on his finger gleamed as he made his way through the thin forest sunlight dappling its floor. He wore a bamboo hat on his back held by a string around his neck as he walked slowly with a deep sigh. "Stupid bastard." He hadn't bothered to wear the hat, he assumed he was alone as he moved along not being intent on really doing work simply finding a way out of this accursed valley he'd fallen into.

KiKi had just closed her eyes when she heard rustling in the brush. She quickly stood up and drew a kunia. Really not wanting a fight she just decided to investigate. As she edged towards the noises she heard low cursing. There was someone in here other then her. "Great...just what I needed." She thought biting her bottom lip as she scaled a tree to get a look from above. Quietly she moved towards the branches end. Still hiding within the leaves she was able to make out the figure of what appeared to be a man. An angry sounding man. Edging nearer she was able to see him clearer. She saw his attire and took a sharp breath inward. " An Akatsuki member? What is he doing here?" She thought nervously starting to back away into the shadows. Defiantly not equipped for this kind of fight she thought it best to go. As she backed away her eyes were still scanning him to see if he had noticed her. As she watched him she noticed the necklace dangling between the parting of his cloak. The pendant gracing it was familiar. Her fingers nervously grazed her shoulder blade feeling the indent in her flesh beneath her yukata. It was the same.

He continued to walk, he knew she was there but he had no time for her. He just needed to get out. Then he stopped. This could be some sort of genjutsu..he'd been here for days and none had come to find him. It had taken him weeks to reform after someone had accidentally dug him up. He had been wandering for a while now. Looking up to her he tilted his head. He had no clue of who she was but she seemed to know something about him from her gaze. Quickly he pulled his weapon, his triple bladed long changed scythe and gave a mighty swing hacking through the base of the tree she stood atop by hurling his weapon then jerking its chain shifting and pulling it through the trunk.

"Fuck..." She said feeling the tree start to fall. Thinking quickly she flipped her wrists. The thick bracelets around them opened up and chains dropped out. The length of the chains extended as she concentrated. The extensions were glowing a bright blue. They were chakra based feeding off of her through the bracelet. She jumped down in front of him and wrapped her chains around the falling tree. She then pulled releasing her weapons letting the tree fall between them. "I don't want to fight you..." She explained over the noise. As soon as the tree settled she finished. " That necklace...What does it mean?"

His eyes locked on her as he shifted and laughed. "Well you shouldn't have been spying on me. Who the fuck are you?" He snapped quickly as he ran towards her. The distance between them caused him to take a few seconds before he raised his scythe above his head. He'd disable her and her weapons first, then he could interrogate her. He had no clue that his organization had been wiped out or that he'd walked far past the boundaries of the land of fire.

Her eyes widened as he came towards her. She was in so much trouble but she wasn't about to go down without a fight. The problem was she really didn't want to fight. Sliding into her defensive stance she took care in noting where he might strike at her. " My name is KiKi I'm from the village of the sand." She replied. She didn't know if she should mention that most of his fellow members had kicked the bucket. Deciding it would be best to leave that part out she spoke again. "I answered your question. Now I think it's only fair that you answer mine. That necklace that you have. What does it stand for?"

He laughed as he closed the gap between them quickly and tossed his scythe upwards as he punched towards her. "I don't really care who you are...it doesn't matter where you're from..you're not going home." He said as he jerked the chain downwards and the scythe arched and began shooting down towards her. "Its my identification, three levels." He said curtly.

KiKi blocked the scythe with her chains and knocked it away. He was right about one thing. She was probably not going home. Which meant she probably going to die here. She had already accepted this the moment she had released her weapons. But before she died she needed to know in a clearer manner what the pendant meant. "It said in your criminal file it was part of a religion of some sort." She said readying herself for the next wave of attack.

"A..heh...the secrets of Jashin are not for your kind." He said as he connected with the punch she'd failed to block striking her in the solar plexus. Quickly he spun and kicked at her knee while he grabbed his scythe from the air its weight causing it to move only slightly when she deflected it. "You want to know my secrets? Well I want to know yours...we shall see who gets what they want from this.

She toppled to the ground her high tolerance for pain not allowing her to feel much of the blows. Her chains had retracted into her bracelets from the impact. She then went stand as she shook her head to clear it. " I want to know because I have that same symbol on my shoulder." She coughed managing to slid back into defensive mode. To hell if she was going to actually try and hit him. She flipped out her chains once again elongating them.

He swatted the chains from the air using his scythe before he arched it upwards slashing towards her extended arms but at the same time he kicked hard at the earth sending a large clod towards her eyes. Shifting to one side at almost the same moment he punched towards her ribs. "I'll tell you after I've gotten what I want." He said curtly to her as his fist shot towards her.

She unsnapped the bracelets and let them fly off. They had become to complicated to keep on. Eventually they would have gotten tangled on the scythe and would have meant the death off her. She dodged his punch just in time as she did a handspring to the side. She watched as the bracelets fell a good twenty feet away from her. Now all she had left were kunia and her acrobatic skills. "What is it that you want?" She asked watching him for sudden movements.

He laughed and jerked the chain once more causing the scythe to flip and slam its blades into the ground. "Mmm you'll find out." He said slowly as he licked his lips. "Oh you're a quick little cunt aren't you?" He quipped as he jerked the chain as well sending the scythe diagonally as he advanced towards her. Quickly he made a few hand symbols as he did so before lashing out and tossing a number of smoke bombs in her direction.

She tried to move as quickly as possible to get out of the range of the smoke. But one stray bomb had managed to land behind her clouding her vision. She stopped moving and drew a kunia as the smoke enveloped her line of sight. She knew if she moved now it would make no sense. She didn't know where he was. She was no fool. Staying put until he came to her was best.

He ran towards her fully his body exposed as he did so. He approached from behind and also twisted the chain of the scythe that was already flying towards her twisting it and sending the handle slamming into her head as he slammed his hands together and formed a small orb of hot water before launching at her. He had no clue how she'd know him, he was from the village hidden in the hot water and knew no one from sand country at all.

She felt the sting of pain as the scythes handle connected with the back off her head. Before it could fall away from her she grabbed a hold of the staff part and turned around slicing the orb of water in half with his own weapon. She was pretty sure she was bleeding now from how hard the handle had hit her. Her vision was beginning to became hazy and not from the smoke. It dawned on her that she was going to pass out any second now but she was determined to stay on her feet for as long as possible.

He grinned and snapped the chain pulling it taut and launching himself towards her. With her small frame there was little chance she could wield the weapon or swing it fast enough to hit him accurately. The orb exploded and hot mist surrounded her quickly, its thickness obscuring the two of them completely. "How long can you last?" He voice came, echoing as it from all sides. "I mean..you have a rather nasty gash there" He added with a soft chuckle behind it.

She gasped in surprise as the steam washed over her. Her mind fogged over as she quickly moved to the side avoiding him. But she was becoming weak and the quick movement didn't help how woozy she was as she stumbled almost dropping the scythe. She managed to hold onto it though trying to look for him. He was gone now and she heard his voice echoing throughout the walls of thick smoke and steam. She shook head to clear it. "No I have to stay focused." She told herself.

He came up behind her and smacked her backside playfully before he vanished. "Mm what a nice firm ass." He said before laughing as he vanished. "You don't look so good..maybe you should sit." He added mockingly before a number of kunai's shot out of the mist towards her.

She gasped at the playful smack before blushing a little showing she wasn't totally gone yet. Through the steam she heard whistling noises. "Shit!" She muttered as she dodged most of the kunia one of them grazing her shoulder. She almost lost her balance and toppled over. But she managed to stay standing but barely.

The steam cleared and he was standing before her. His body now all black with a white skeleton outlined within. He smiled to her and slowly licked along the kunai that had grazed her before a circle appeared about him. "Mmm well then...good night." He said as he slammed his fist hard against his own jaw.

She didn't even feel the pain of the blow. She just fell forward onto her stomach. She was only conscious for a few seconds more. Long enough to touch her shoulder where she said that the mark was. She then fell unconscious cursing a little as she did.

HE laughed as he tied her hands together and raised them above her head before tossing the cable he used over a tree. Tying her fingers together he laughed and then proceeded to search her for any hidden weapons or seals. Finding none he pulled the cable and lifted her stopping once she was hanging by her hands. Conjuring another ball he tossed it into her face splashing the hot water onto ehr to wake her up.

She felt the water splash her onto her face and she blinked opening her eyes. She shook her head somewhat her blue eyes finally focusing on him. She already knew what to expect and sure enough she was disarmed and tied up. All she could do was stare at him and think the worst. No struggle was needed. She knew it would do no good.
