In the mood for something a bit shorter than the usual stuff.
So here's my pitch, feel free to provide alternates if you want to try something different with similar themes. Our characters are gladiators in an arena, the two slated as most likely to win. When they step into the battlefield, it seems as though the expectant eyes of the whole world are on them.
But when the fight begins, they realise that they are evenly matched. Our characters battle each other to an exhausted, sweaty standstill, leading to either one of us losing, or a draw and finally to a "rematch" occurring in either in the nearby inn after a few drives or desperately in the corridors of the arena itself!
