I have not written one of these forum roleplay requests out in quite some time, but, let's see if I can't climb back into the saddle and beat some life into that old dead horse. Good thing I studied some Necromancy in my youth, eh? I must have quite the sense of humor, you're thinking. Or.. Heh. Hoping, is it? Only one way to find out, isn't there? Come play with me. So, what does this require?
All roleplays with me are gonna be MxM. Mmhmm. Yes. So, that's out of the way. That is character-wise only, of course – I do not care in the least whether your real life gender is male, female, or otherwise; I do not care if you are a sentient alien blob, so long as you can manifest limbs with which to type/swipe.
I like to write, I like to write story and action and drama and plot, along with humor, and, of course, delightfully graphic pornography. I do this writing fairly well, and often at wildly rambling length. I try to keep it interesting, and, certainly readable: in standard English. Basic grammar, punctuation, and what not. I do expect no one liners, not to wait a week for a reply, and not to think your kid brother got hold of your laptop when I read the reply, that’s all – no unreasonable ‘oh how LIT are you?’ expectations or such.
I will not write the top all of the time. Nope, sorry, no. It bores. I don’t mind so much being the bottom/sub character so much, if that is what my partner prefers, but, I like it best when at least some of the time the roles get switched up, as in switches.
In the same general vein: I don’t really know anything much about the D/s matrix or include it beyond anything my partner wants, at least, within reason. Ok, no, I lied, I do like the whole rough sex, choking, threatening, fight sex, angry sex, biting, clawing sort of shenanigans, both giving and receiving. Or restraints, spanking, that sort of thing.
And let's hop into kinks: The above mentioned. Vampires is another, as well as a character class I enjoy in non-sexual explorations of the whole situation involving that condition from angles other than the usual angst. Control, I suppose: the power struggle dynamic. More directly: rough oral – not brutally, but, hair pulling, gagging, that sort of thing, if my boy is on his knees, yes please, have fun. Kissing: wetly, roughly, desperately, even in a situation where it’s the last thing that’s called for. Getting one another all worked up then having to wait til later. Branding, piercing, things like that, too.
As far as more general desires that keep a roleplay intriguing for me, keep me want to keep writing more, because I’m just dying to read that next reply, I love dark romance, and fraught situations. I want my characters to be in danger, just on the verge of narrow escapes. I want to have to think my way out – I want to have to think of a way to keep my partner thinking, too. As far as sexual attraction, I am ok with either slow burn or instant passion, and the same with love: sometimes love at first sight IS kind of fun, as long as it has a reason to only grow stronger. Horror can be a lot of fun, too: especially in combination with strong love as the sole motivator allowing the characters to carry on through anything. Passion is a great one too, not just the sexual kind, but passion for a cause, a just rebellion or a criminal obsession, either way – whatever one is willing to pursue, no matter the cost. I love strong characters, smart characters, tough ones. Especially the kind who are romantic as hell on the inside.
So what is a definite no? Obviously, if it violates the ToS, I won’t do it, besides, kiddies and (non-werewolf) pooches? Ew. Nope. No shit, vomit, snot, or the innards of toads, either. Eye of newt is negotiable. My character is not going to be maimed or mutilated or seriously tortured, at least not for a sexual rp reason, I don’t find that sexy at all. And along with that, anything veering toward being actually humiliating is not something I would find pleasurable, though I won’t say on that one you can’t – just expect my character to deck yours. Or stab him in the eye. Depending on personality and mood of the day. I’m not into furries, unless we are counting, again, werewolves, which, I don’t – werewolves ARE sexy! Lol.
As far as non-sexual situations, I have no limits on violence, gore, swearing, horror, the grim realities of war and of all sorts in general: angst, insanity, substance abuse and crime and fellas running around trying to out-antisocial-personality-disorder each other and the like. Basically, if it could have happened in Game of Thrones, many Korean horror movies, or the mind of Stephen King, I’m fine with it happening in my roleplays. Caveat: if a character is abusing an animal, especially a dog, my guy is going to have to try to seriously stop them, with as much violence as he can manage. Something where I feel so strongly I can’t separate my IC/OOC properly lol. Probably the only one, though, lest you think I’m a complete nutter.
….and now, the rest of the fun stuff. So, what exactly do I want to play? First of all, I have a lot of worlds from movies, series, anime, or books that I might like to set a roleplay in, but I don’t do fandom roleplays per se, meaning I do not play already existing canon characters; I don’t feel I do them justice and actually find it stressful. (Yes, really – I am that much of a dork.) I also am not a fan of straight-up slice of life in most roleplays, as it tends to really bore me not to have some element of fantasy in my stories; there are exceptions, basically if we do something set in one of the past time periods where magic or the supernatural can be a part of things, or not.
With that said, I guess I will just list some suggestions as far as time periods, pairings, and settings, but please feel free to offer your own ideas as well – I am pretty open-minded and have been known to enjoy a spot of spontaneous world building now and then; these lists are samples only, very far from complete since my interests would take me hours to list and I’m not doing that. Newp.
