  • It hurt. His head was throbbing, as the person groaned, stirring from his unwilling â??sleepâ??. Things swam in his head, mostly thoughts that he couldnâ??t place in any logical order. Did someone crack him on the head with something blunt? It sure felt like itâ?¦ Pushing himself up, a clinking sound that hurt his ears and made his vision spinâ?¦ Wait, clinking sound? Trying to spread his arms, gain a better center of gravity, but something, something prevented them from moving too fair apart. Eyes down, the whole area shifting before a line of greyâ?¦shiny grey appeared between his wrists. Chains.
Where did those come fromâ?¦? Blinking, vision clearing, eyes flickering open to revel blue-green optics, locks of black falling over his eyes. A shake of his head, removed the offending strands, but they parted to revel pointed ears. Elf. That was what Cirdan was, as currently, said Elf wasnâ??t too pleased with his current predicament, but questions needed to be asked, before answers.

Pushing himself up, so he was sitting, his eyes adjusted to the light from the bars, it looked like was in anâ?¦Over grown animal cage. It was bit cramped, but at least he could moveâ?¦Somewhat. If he lay down, he could be fineâ?¦only if his legs were tucked into his chest; he could feel pain from his shoulder and hipbone, they might have collided with the hard floor when someone tossed him in here. He noted that his legs were free, something of a blessing. Elves were quiteâ?¦speedy on their legs, but whimpers and moans told him he was not alone, at least, not in the particular place. There was also a loud talk, laughter, cries of pain, shouts and barks of anger. Where the hell did he wind up? Someone was dragged right in front of his cage; whimpering and pleading, a Naga dragging a neko, the latter stumbling after the snake. Soon they were out of his range of vision, but not out his range of hearing. Barking orders, the word â??slaveâ?? caught his attention.

This couldnâ??t be right, slave trade had been abolished when the pact had been made after the war! Eyes narrowed, the elf frowned. Apparently, it wasnâ??t quite wiped out as wanted; but there were no Naga in cages, all of various other species, humans, nekosâ?¦elves. His face curled into a snarl of disgust; what was this?! Some looked soâ?¦broken, docile, others were howling, as it stung his ears.

Thin fingers tightened around the bars, as muscles and tendons flexed, Cirdan trying to pull the bars open. No doubt it wouldnâ??t have worked anyways, but it was worth a shotâ?¦.Nothing. Frowning, the elven male sat back, closing his eyes, his senses on overdrive. When they opened that cage. He was new, so they were most likely not sure what to expect. He wasnâ??t going to stay in this hell-hole. No way.

Bracing his legs when he heard the key and chatter of two guards. Threeâ?¦Twoâ?¦Oneâ?¦ Now! His legs pushed forward, and he passed the two guards. He left the yelling, shocked Nagas behind, darting through cages and jumping over chains. All around him, the air felt heavy, sick, bloody. It made his nose wrinkled, as the elf ducked, avoiding something that seem to crackle with energy. His hair, cut up to under his ears except two long strands of hair that reached his collar bone, flew forward, limiting his vision. Cursing, he jumped on top of a cage, startling itâ??s occupants. Too many, damnâ?¦Just where in hell was he?[/list:u]
