Her eyes scanned the parking lot, it was habit. She moved and started walking up the stairs. Kalia lived on the second floor with her parents. She was, after all, only in High School. It was Sunday, her parents weren't home, off doing their 'us time' somewhere in the city. While Kalia was left to get some groceries that they needed. She had been carrying the two big heavy brown paper bags for three blocks now, but she didn't complain. She loved walking, and running for that matter. She ran sometimes for her High School, but mainly she did it for fun.
Blowing a strip of dark red hair that escaped from her low ponytail out of her face she pushed the staircase door open. There were four floors of the apartment building, two rooms on each floor. A new neighbor was moving into the apartment right across from hers, she saw the moving truck in the parking lot and had heard rumors. Kalia's purple eyes looked over to the neighbor's door, but quickly focused on hers. Her arms were starting to ache from carrying the groceries and she wanted to get into the apartment.
Kalia was wearing a nice form fitting dark blue t-shirt that read 'You have the perfect face for radio' in orange lettering across her chest. She had lush breasts that were slightly constrained by the sports bra she was wearing. Her dark blue jeans had holes in the knees and her black tennis shoes looked well used and comfortable. She wasn't really tall, but not real short either, sort of in average range, maybe on the shorter end of things. She was rather beautiful, and she refused to wear makeup most of the time, considering it a slight hassle to do it every day. She had a soft tan over her skin that seemed it would be soft. Kalia also prided herself in being fit, because of her running.
Fumbling for her keys that hung off her pants she miscalculated the weight of one of the grocery bags and they spilled over, causing apples and oranges to go rolling across the floor. "Damnit!" She cursed as she set the other bag down, getting on her knees to start picking up the loose items.
