Fx Female The Wonders of the Deep (A DC thought)

Mera has been on the receiving end of a very harrowing week.

The mess probably started off with the abrupt decision to change her social status as a princess of her underwater kingdom. No warning from her father, no hint at ever happening via a conversation, just the sudden news of her being betrothed to King Orm in a few days and that was it. Apparently no one had any trouble with her marrying an absolute madman but her. In fact, she was certain that everyone thought her mad for even abandoning her kingdom in search of the insanely powerful Trident, and even more insane for actually finding where the blasted thing was in all the chaos of the surface world. But then she had to actually go and get the thing, defying even her own expectations for what had begun as a mission to stay unmarried. She wasn't expecting to actually succeed getting past the lovecraftian horrors of the trench and retrieving the legendary Trident in one heart-pounding go, but it all worked out the same. At the very least, Orm would not have the god-like power to lay seige to any place on earth, or attack the surface worlders and risk the lives of her people.

That's how she encountered: only issue remaining is figuring out what to do with the weapon of great power now that it's hers, and where to go from here. That's how she ended up knowcked out trying to escape the only way out, thrown with her newfound weapon out of the depths of the Trench and then to the far corners of the earth. Just like she hadn't expected to be worthy of the trident, Mera also didn't expect to wash up on a specific island chain cut off from the rest of the world and even the knowledge of Atlantis' libraries. And she certaintly didn't expect to wake up on a beach with the hottest(and maybe tallest) surface dweller in history looming over her with a splitting grin, pleasantly surprised at seeing an Atlantean.

Now Mera really has no idea where she'll go from here, but she knows it'll be quite the interesting journey.

Basically I'm a 5-7+ paragraph writer whos got the cravings for someone similar to partake in a AU DCEU roleplay with a little Mera/Wonder Woman as the central plot! Who knows what interesting little tales we can make from this Alternate Universe! (Comfortable being either lady in this tale!)
