Question Regarding the amount of messages on profile

I was just wondering and a bit confused when example, I look at my own profile it says I have five messages but I have been talking before to more then five people. It may be a silly question but I am not sure how that works? Thank you for your time!

And to add to @xanaphia, messages in any thread, out in the open. Nothing of what you do in private @Mossiepoo is registered (although it can be seen by staff)

@xanaphia @Tanakalian Ohhhh! So that has nothing to do with private messages! I had assumed that but it’s basically what’s more public like bumping and posts. Thanks guys that cleared it up!

Just to clarify as far as what @Tanakalian said, most of staff cannot view private messages; the only person who can access the PM database is Vekseid (the site owner) and he would only do so in very, very serious situations.

Just so y'all don't think we're out here looking through PMs, lol!

Thank you for claryfing that @Solo, I thought you all could do it, in those very extra-ordinary circumstances. I stand corrected.

Thanks for letting me know! Also to attach like a picture is that not possible through a message? I tried and I couldn’t find anything unless I’m blind lol
