how does request thrreads work

they look simple enough but a few things i not sure on like on the botten it says request by males does that mean they are male or are they looking for males

If it's a request by a male, it's a male looking for a partner, either another male, a female, a non-binary, or any of the above. Also, this only applies to someone looking to play a male character. Your real life sex is irrelevant.
