Actually, I probably should have lead with stories, rather than depravity if we’re being honest. Depravity probably sends the wrong message. Oh well, you’re here now!
Hi. My name is Vanilla Chai, but feel free to just call me Chai. I’ve been lurking around these forums for a few months now. I signed up intending to get back into roleplaying, then life went a bit tits up, then a Pandemic happened, and then I went a caught COVID-19.
Luckily it was only a mild case, but still not fun.
Anyhoo, I suppose I should tell you a bit about myself.
Time to spill the tea.
Firstly, I’m not even sorry about that awful pun, and if you decide to write with me then you can expect so many more!
My account looks pretty shiny and new; however, I’ve actually been roleplaying for quite a few years now. I ended up taking a hiatus a couple years ago, and it lasted a bit longer than I expected. Feeling the call to return, I decided to get set up on here and, well, here we are.
I’ve been writing ever since I could hold a pen. I’ll happily write anything along as I’ve got an interesting plot or character. However, I am and always will be a total nerd at heart. Science fiction and fantasy is always a huge weakness for me. I’m a sucker for any kind of adventure, as well as romance.
As for some more meaningless information about me, I’m a twenty-five-year-old dude from the UK. England specifically, but please don’t hold it against me. I’m also pansexual, a total dork, an avid gamer and a Ravenclaw. I’ve just finished The Last of Us Part Two and while I emotionally recover I think I’m gonna go for something simple and easy; perhaps another Borderlands playthrough, or Civ 6 or X-Com 2.
Anyway, that’s enough geeking out. Time to move on.

Also, I have a habit of writing far too much. Hence the following wall of text. Sorry, not sorry.
I love writing. Like, a lot. It’s a hobby that I’m trying to turn into a career. As such, I hold myself to a pretty high standard. I consider myself to be pretty literate and a detailed writer. That said, roleplaying is meant to be fun, right? I’m not gonna expect people to be as crazy as me. I just have two simple requests, please and thank you. Firstly, have a basic grasp of the English language. Secondly, proofread your posts before hitting send. Nothing irks me more than seeing the same mistakes over and over again.
When it comes to posting length, I think we can all agree that quality beats quantity. However, please don’t give me simple one-liners. I can’t do anything with that. I’d like at least a couple of decent paragraphs. Personally, I am more than happy to write anywhere between 2 and six, or more paragraphs. Though I tend to tone myself down to match my partners.
Now, as for what we’re writing together, let’s be honest. We’re all here to write some amount of smutty fun times. I love smut just as much as the next guy or gal. I’m actually a huge pervert. However, I like a good story, or some interesting characters to go with it. I don’t like to number how much plot or story, it varies depending on my mood and the particular plot. Afterall there can be some really interesting stories that have a sexual theme. Make sense?
Simply put, if I can get an interesting character or an intriguing plot, then I will happily write total smutfests or epic stories.
Real-life is a bit of a shitshow at the moment, so I’m struggling to commit to a specific schedule for replying. However, I can commit to at least two replies decent replies a week. This is because I can be a slow writer, and I’m sometimes not sure when I can get online. However, when I’m on, I’m on. In the past, I’ve been able to get out several decent replies in a day when my partner and I are on at the same time. However, real-life always comes first for both of us. I’ll never pester or hassle you, and I’d like the same from you.
That said, I am much more frequent when it comes to OOC chat. I’m a pretty friendly guy, and I like to chat and get to know the people I write with. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not looking to be your best friend or anything. But if you wanna talk about video games or movies or whatever else while we write, then I’m your guy! On top of that, I also tend to geek out about my roleplays. I love brainstorming ideas together, building an original world and fleshing it out with all manner of side characters. Sometimes I can go over the top. If I do, then just tell me to stop. I won’t be too offended.
And most importantly…
