Hi there, I’m Didgeridont. Nice to meet you! This post talks about me in general as a writer, and I have my plots listed on the next post after.

General Information

My Roleplaying
I generally write a decent amount. Multiple paragraphs at the least, provided I have enough material to work with. I will try to match my partner as much as possible.

I will write with good grammar, spelling, and punctuation, to the best of my abilities.

I will always write in 3rd person.

My replies can range from a few times a day, to daily, to once every few days, to around once a week. I've had a good amount of momentum for writing recently, but I can often times find myself getting a bit busy. I'll always be transparent about it, though!

I'm fine with ghosting! But if you ghost me after hyping me up for a plot then I will steal that plot for myself. :^)

I can provide a sample of my writing upon request.


My Genres
While I won’t necessarily limit myself, I find that I am most drawn to stories that are heavy in action, suspense, or both. I particularly enjoy settings of either fantasy, sci-fi, cyberpunk, post-apocalypse, or historical fiction. I like plots about crime, war, adventure, mystery, horror, or anything else that might place our characters into an interesting and dynamic setting.

I love romance. It's really cool and I would love to include it in an RP, especially if we're writing something long term. After all, if our characters are spending so much time together, shouldn't they eventually catch feelings for each other too? Sex and other adult stuff can also be included in this.

I also write guys as my protagonists, but I can write all genders when it comes to background characters. My guys can generally be any shape or size or species or whatever.

I can also GM/DM, depending on what kind of story you're looking for. ;^)

original plot/setting ideas

A few plot ideas I've decided to polish up into a presentable format. I've kept them pretty vague to make room for my partner's suggestions, and I'm generally open to tweaking the concepts however you wish - for any assumed gender do note that those roles can be pretty easily flipped/changed.

Also, feel free to mix and match ideas from different plots, or tweak a plot using my pairings/themes/word bank from above, or give your own spin on it based on what you think might be cool or interesting. I really do love hearing any input and ideas on these plots!

working - cyberpunk, office romance, age difference(?) - ★★★
our characters work for a very large and very powerful mega-corporation. it's nothing all too exciting, just regular office work, but there's always something hidden beneath the surface.

yc is tired of it. of the monotony, the bosses, the inane policies, the whatever. maybe they're tired with this kind of life in general, or maybe they're just unfulfilled. to get back, they've decided to investigate what really goes on behind the scenes. there have always been rumors, of course, of how the company likes to exploit workers or cut corners with safety regulations or do experimental testing, but yc is determined to find out if these rumors are true.

mc starts out less involved. maybe a subordinate, maybe a slacking coworker, maybe a new hire. regardless, they get roped into it, the plan your character has. even though it might cost him his job (or much more), he still does it, because he has to. (maybe he really likes yc, or maybe yc has just blackmailed him into coming along so ౦ ‸ ౦).

the two soon find they might have bit more than they could chew.


they rose - zombies, modern, survival - ★★
the dead roam the earth, hungry for the flesh of the living. well, they don't roam that much yet. the outbreak is still in its infancy, but it has already exerted pressure on the world's power structures. the virus itself has spread quickly through the air and water, and sits imperceptible in the bodies of many people, with only the few who have a natural immunity being truly safe.

our characters are to watch it unfold. the story would begin a few days before things become truly desperate, as services and amenities shut down, and as life becomes turned on its head. they may know each other, as co-workers or classmates, or they may not. perhaps they don't start on very good terms, but must later learn to work together if they wish to remain in one piece.


partners - cyberpunk, enemies to lovers, power dynamics - ★★
in the far future, cybernetics and gene modification have allowed for the creation of super-soldiers and what is considered the next generation of human advancement. these individuals are mainly used by governments and powerful corporations on special tasks and missions, as their skills far surpass normal human ability.

she is one of these, controlled and carefully monitored by a large biotechnological company, they have found the need to pair her with another employee to make sure her given tasks proceed smoothly.

he is that employee, though he isn’t too fond of his new position, which he sees as a lateral move meant to prevent him from actually doing the work he actually wants to do. a partnership begins, however reluctant it may be at first.


dead to me - modern fantasy, enemies to lovers - ★★
he is undead, a revenant, though through magic he looks human (or some sort of vampire or similar being). his purpose is to serve as a warrior for a warlock, one who is connected to the demons of hell. the problem is that he still doesn't know who his master is.

she is part of a secret society which hunts demons and warlocks and undead and whatever other monsters may threaten humanity. but, of course, that isn't all that she does. she still has a semi-normal life during the day.

the two meet. perhaps in a class, or in a club or organization, or at work, or wherever. they find themselves attracted to each other, for whatever reasons that may be, until one discovers the other's secret. a rivalry might form, or they might find that they will need to work together against a common enemy.


space coffin - horror, sci-fi - ★★★
our characters are members of some distant yet very large space ship/station. they could be strangers, coworkers, whatever.

however, the two of them soon realize that something is very wrong. someone, or something, has commandeered the ship, trapping everyone on board and thrusting whatever is there into disorder. this could be the work of a rogue a.i., or aliens, or an internal enemy.

our characters must then fight to survive and, hopefully, escape.


a bad look - cyberpunk/modern, crime, love/hate relationships, angst - ★★★
one character is looking to make it big in the underworld, so they recruit your character to help them.

it goes well, for a while. money is good, transactions go smooth, no real issues. that is until they accidentally cross the wrong people and end up having to find a way to not get caught in someone's crosshairs.

who knows, maybe one of them decides this life isn't for them. or, at least, not with the partner they're with. pressure bust pipes.


guardian angel - cyberpunk, power dynamics, action - ★★★
your character is a big shot. of some kind. popstar, gangster, ceo. you name it.

or maybe they're just average.

my character is hired, or trusted, or tasked to protect them. seems simple enough, not very exciting. more of a formality whenever one character needs to go somewhere or meet with someone.

what neither of them know is that your character has a secret, hidden, literally, inside them. a secret that has, just recently, caught the attention of some powerful entities - ones who will do whatever they can to get it.

the great sea - post-apocalypse/fantasy, adventure-based - ★
in the far future, most of the world's land mass is covered by water and ocean. humanity lives apart from each other on tiny islands or floating barges, making do with what they have.

he is a diver, who spends his days underwater, searching for relics and treasures of eras past. his life is changed irrevocably when he returns home to find it pillaged and burnt. hurt and angry, he takes what is left and seeks revenge.

he does not set off alone, however. a girl joins him. perhaps someone from his home village, or someone he met when he started his travels. they may share a common goal, or she may have motivations unknown to him. but for the time being, they journey forward together.


the girl from the forest - fantasy, different cultures - ★
he is an itinerant adventurer searching for strange, eldritch artifacts hidden outside the reaches of civilization, where the land may kill just as quickly as the monsters do.

she lives a plain life, alone, far from the cities and villages. the company of the trees suit her far better, for whatever reasons that may be.

they cross paths, perhaps he protects her from assailants, or she lets him inside when he loses the trail.

out of gratitude, or fascination, or mutual interest, the two end up as companions, traveling together. perhaps she needs an escort to a local settlement, or he requires a guide to a certain landmark. whatever the reason, their journey becomes more eventful than either of them had imagined.


the heroine - modern, superheroes - ★
she is gifted with superpowers, and has become something of a celebrity within her city due to her vigilantism. though, despite the fame, she has deemed it wise to hide her real identity, and keep the superhero behind a persona.

he is more what one may call a civilian. no extravagant powers or abilities to speak of, but he has found himself interested in the new girl that’s arrived in the office, the one with a very private life, who works a schedule with strange hours.

through some form or another, their lives are intertwined. perhaps his interest in her gets the better of him and he discovers her identity, or perhaps he is always one step away from doing so, or maybe he finds himself with the local villains, as a hostage for her to rescue or a foe for her to defeat.


the dungeon in the sky - fantasy, horror, grimdark - ★
in an ancient kingdom, those that break the law are sent to a magical floating dungeon in lieu of prison, a penal colony that is meant to crush all hope and lead to the prisoners’ eventual death. there have been stories of a way to leave, by reaching the bottom floor of the dungeon, but no one in the past centuries has successfully escaped.

the characters have found themselves within the dungeon. they may have come at the same time, or perhaps one of them are a recent arrival with the other having already been exposed to the horrors of the dungeon. they may find themselves with magical powers, or discover great treasures within the winding corridors and dimly lit rooms.

Most of these are half-baked to make room for different interpretations of canon characters/stories.


legend of zelda - link x fem-ganon / male-zelda x fem-ganon. ocarina of time storyline, zelda is either captured by ganon or link sets off to fight ganon (and either loses or wins, or perhaps neither)

dark souls - oc x firekeeper. i'm most familiar with the dark souls 1 story/locations.

berserk - guts x casca. maybe an alternate universe where their roles during the eclipse are reversed.

mistborn - oc noble x oc noble / oc noble x oc skaa. many years before the events of the first book, a young man and woman are caught in the midst of a house war. (can also be first book au)

neon genesis evangelion - oc x oc / genderbent canon characters. can follow the show plot or just use the setting.

ace attorney - phoenix x maya / oc x oc.

my hero academia - canon x canon / oc x canon / oc x oc. started reading it recently and have been interested in playing it. i guess i'm most craving to write opposite mirko, midnight, mt. lady, or mandalay/pixie-bob. but, i'd basically write opposite any of the female characters, or an oc (i'm not picky hehe). could also try a quirk x quirkless pairing, or hero x villain.
