I'm returning to roleplay after a long time away and I'm not super confident in what I'm available for. Writing new characters leaves more room for creativity, and I prefer to avoid focusing on canon characters for too long as I worry too much about different perspectives of the same character. In the end, I don't think two people would find themselves playing the same complex character the same way. Maybe I'm overthinking it or not, but I've had more misses than I can count when I stuck my neck out to RP something I wasn't sure about.
I prefer either thread or PM based RP, and I don't tend to take too much time planning things out. Respecting each other is important, you won't catch me trying to make things uncomfortable OoC. Many people just wanna write in peace and as long as I'm enjoying my hobby I can't see why it'd be preferable to spook people away. I wouldn't have anybody to write with, hah. If you have an idea that I might enjoy, then please go ahead and send a Pm! If the thread catches your eye or you'd like to just chat or something, you're also encouraged to shoot me a Pm!
My post lengths used to be fairly long on average, but it'll certainly vary based on what I'm working with. There isn't too much area to be concerned with on this front, I'm more than happy to put in the effort to meet a partner's preferences if need be. Any such preference, including and not limited too what sort of content you might expect to find in the roleplay can be discussed at a greater length individually! There's no requirement for any given thread of mine to include smut. Adult themes are welcomed, but I'd also enjoy just as much story building and character depth as we can put together.
