"Baby come around cause I need you, baby calm me down, let me see you."
โI told you to have the designs on my desk by Monday, Clementine.โ
โAnd I did!โ
โItโs Thursday.โ The blonde deadpanned.
The twenty one year old offered an uneasy smile, tugging her lower lip between her teeth. โSo maybe Iโm a few days late, but shit has been hard for me lately, you know that.โ
Gomez nodded a single time. โI apologise for my class getting in the way of your extra curricular activities, if you knew you couldnโt handle it, why sign up in the first place?โ
Clementineโs brows furrowed, her lips parting as if she were about to say something, before seemingly thinking twice and clamping them shut. Why did she sign up for the class? She loved fashion, had done since she was a mere six year old. But this was too much for her. In that sense, at least. It was stressful having to come up with brand new never-before-seen clothing designs.
โBecause Mrs. Gomez, if I donโt challenge myself, who will?โ She offered the woman a sarcastic grin.
Brown eyes narrowed, the corner of her lips tilting into a scowl. โYouโve got twenty four hours to have those designs on my desk or youโre out, is that clear?โ
The brunette smiled, moving two fingers to her forehead in a mock salute. โCrystal.โ She promised, eyes twinkling.

โLook, Iโm just saying this isnโt working out.โ Harvey lifted a single shoulder in a half assed shrug, huffing out a breath.
Blue hues narrowed in on clenched fists, a sarcastic laugh echoing off of the pale walls of a once shared apartment. โFirst of all, jack-ass, I know youโre lyinโ, second? Youโre breaking up with me?โ It was bold, she had to give him that. Especially considering she had been the one to turn a blind eye when the fucker started receiving phone calls from numbers she didnโt recognise. Honestly though, this didnโt surprise her. She hadnโt ever been known to stay in a relationship for that long - it was just shitty โcause she always had been the dumper, not the dumpee.
The shaggy haired male huffed out a laugh, shaking his head. โSo what if I am lying? Itโs over. I want you out.โ
If looks could kill - Harvey would be six feet under, hell, heโd be further than that. Gritting her teeth, she threw him the bird, before stumbling out of the front door. Ideally, it wasnโt smart moving in with somebody she knew she wouldnโt be with long enough to find a new apartment - but, she was so close to being evicted, and he had offered her a place to stay, who was she to turn him down? Folding her arms over her chest, she attempted to hold back a shiver. Maybe wearing a short sleeved shirt wasnโt the best idea, at least, not in this weather.
Clenching her jaw, icy fingers fumbled for the device hidden within denim pockets, her gaze dropped to the contacts, before she found the one she was looking for.
