Hi there, I'm Jay. I've been writing and roleplaying for a few years but I am new to Blue Moon. So I figured I'd post one of my more detailed ideas and see if anyone's interested!
Back in the 1950's, the beings that were once thought to be purely mythology emerged into the light of society. There was great tribulation in the world’s attempt to merge the humans with the mythical races. In the beginning, fear caused riots, protests, racism, and even wars between the mythical societies and humanity. Though as all things, the dust settled. The deep rooted fears and bias remained, but in recent years some people have taken it upon themselves to bury the hatchet. In the year 2000, a city was built in the midwestern United States and proclaimed itself to be the first university with the goal to bring together the humans with the many mythical races in an attempt to end the tensions. In the years after its establishment, many others appeared around the world.
Your character would be a freshman student at the university that started it all, Magnus University. I figure we would start with your character moving in and meeting their roommate, but of course if you have a better jumping off point in mind, we could give it a shot. I made this roleplay with that thought in mind that anything can happen. Explore as much you wish and you can interact with any characters you meet in any way. I have many characters written up, some more detailed than others. Any of them are available to talk to, befriend, date, get dirty with, hang out with, fight, argue with, etc. Anything is possible. I'd hope you'd feel free to throw in multiple characters if you'd like, though one's fine if that's what you're comfortable with.
As for personal preferences in roleplay...
I don't have a preference for how long responses need to be. I like detail and will try to be detailed, but I understand in some situations there isn't as much to work with.
I like a good balance between plot and smut, but tilting to one side isn't an issue for me.
I'd much prefer if you'd explore and meet people rather than anchoring in on the first character you meet. Unless I did THAT good of a job picking out a roommate for your character.
Third person perspective is typically how I like to write, I'd prefer if you did the same. Again, it's not a deal breaker though.
A couple questions for the rp's sake I'd like to ask just to personalize it a bit are...
What would your character like to study/major in?
Do they have any hobbies or interests?
Sexual orientation?
How would you like the plot:smut ratio to be?
And if you'd like a male or female roommate?
Of course I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have! I hope to hear from some of you!
