There he was, standing at the altar waiting for me. Damon. So powerful and strong, ever in command of the room. His golden eyes shining dangerously. I began to walk towards him, my only love but his smile begin to fade.Why couldn't I reach him? Why had he changed? Was he not the man I thought he was? My hands were tied behind my back, my gorgeous creamy wedding dress ripping at the seams, the lace cascading down onto the floor, turning red as if its removal caused the dress pain.
I turned to see who was holding me back, to be surprised with Damon himself. "You will not set foot up that aisle. The moment you would have said 'I do', I would have had to kill you." His voice initially broken turned cold and unfeeling, not the Damon I had grown to love. This was the Damon from the beginning, the heartless wretch who feasted on me and left me to die.....
