Moonlight Guild was home to some of the best adventurers, and aspiring ones, too, as it had turned out, including Tar, a young, up-and-coming adventurer! The quest board had all the best journeys on it, either up into the mountains, far off lands, and even down below into the dark depths of the dungeons. Of course, they were the harder ones. Full of monsters, but with booty that not even a team of adventurers could pull out in one trip alone. So, Tar's greedy hands would pick up one of the posters, met with a loud, grizzled "Beware!" from one of the elders. "Kids like you shouldn't be taking on these quests, 'specially when they've got barely any experience under your belt." This lecture would of course go on for about 20 minutes, ending with a few warnings from said expert. "Do not accept the trip into the mountains. Do NOT go fight that dragon on the other side of the world. And whatever you do, do NOT go into the dungeons!"
Stepping up to the door, some dust would cough out as he would haphazardly heave it open, light pouring in from the outside to accompany the torchlight from the walls. Tar would draw his greatsword already, holding it outwards with both hands, entering. As he was a novice, he would be making many mistakes - his first being bringing a goddamn greatsword into a series of tightly-packed dungeons. There is a reason why - which would come back to haunt him. Seeing off to the front, he would notice something. Something big, which hadn't noticed him. An opportunity for first blood. He managed to creep up behind it, bringing his blade to his side, ready to strike. He would heave it up quickly, before...
CLANG!
The sword had rebounded against the ceiling, a loud noise echoing through the dungeons, sparks flying out and creating a massive explosion of light, something the beast was bound to notice. The sword would fly behind him onto the floor, clattering down. Stunned, the greenskin would stand there, stepping back worriedly and calmly. Oh, lords... He was in for it now.
