Crimson rays sputtered their last dying gasps of light as the sun dips below the horizon. Around this time, everyone locks their windows and locks their doors, praying to their various gods to let them survive at least until the next day comes. However, there was one man not hiding from the night, in fact wandering right into the heart of the forest. A primeval forest that remained untouched by the hands of man, to where it created a thick mesh and only the vilest of creatures dwelt. Barely enough moonlight crept through the trees to make the man's features visible. His red hair was shown, his once green eyes now trapped under a haze of red to reveal that he had taken a few too many encounters with those of the demonic variety.
Being the town demon hunter, is not the position of high respect like every one would think. Every time Braiddan hunted or obtained a wound, the town priest flench at the sight, fearing he could very easily become one himself. Which was true none the less. All it would take is the proper persuasion from a powerful demon, and he could fall right into their grasp.
The short sword in his left hand glowed a pale blue, signifyign that there is a demon close by.
