Lord Emeric ruled over the Court of Dreamers. A beautiful place to be where the down below was filled the darkness and he always has to put a show on down there. Always. It never fails not even after another three hundred years. You would think it would change, but nope. Not at all. He got little progress with them, but it wasn't much especially letting them see what the world above them looks like. They change a little bit and relax a lot, but they were still vicious with everything else. So, he shows them that he can be quite as vicious as them. He had to make sure he can be what they need him to be, but today. He was going to be a dreamer and fly over the Court of Dreams with his two favorite Illyrian warriors. He was happy to be up here. This was where he can be free. This was the real him up in this area. He was going to make sure of that as nobody was going to take this away from him. Not even anyone else. He was free here and to be what he is along with his small family members that he holds dearly to his heart.

"So, how much work do you have to do before coming out to play with us?" Sebastian asked him while raising an eyebrow up at him.

"I can't just leave my work untended. Unless you want to take it over, Sebastian." Emeric asked him while glancing over at him.

"No, that's your torture." He remarked as Vladimir chuckled softly, but he didn't say anything at all.

As they flew right over the water and glancing up to the sky every now and then and to the water, Emeric made signals to the two to fan out and make their wide search. They were patrolling but just flying for fun as well. All of them needed some air and this was what they needed for right now. To get away and into the blue sky with those fluffy white clouds above them. He realizes that his friend The High Lady of The Spring Court will be coming to the gathering later on tonight as she had her duties to attend to as well as him. Both of them running the Courts and having a lot of work for them to do. It's a pain, but that's what usually happens for High Lords and High Ladies.

Something caught his eyes as Vladimir and Sebastian were already circling overhead to check up as well. Working as a single unit which makes everyone else scared of them because of how well they work together. As they swooped lower and hit the sandy beach of the river that went out to the harbor and then out to the ocean. Everything was beautiful here and the only thing that was out of place was the one-person laying on the ground right now. They landed around the girl as they were confused and not making much sense out of why there was a girl on the sandy beaches. They share a look with each other as Sebastian broke the silence between them, "Is she even alive?"

Vladimir gave him a narrow look while asking softly, "Why are you so morbid?"

Asteria had been The High Lady of The Spring Court over for three hundred years now as she had been working on her papers and did other things too. She was patiently waiting for the human King or Queen to arrive whichever it was for the humans. Such short human lives that it was hard to tell which one it was and who was ruling as well. Thankfully, she had her Emissary Erielle to help her out in the department as well as she looks around while wondering what she had to do now, but not quite sure. She got up from what she was doing and walk into the other rooms that had bay glass windows letting the sunlight in. She walks into the dining room, but not finding anything or anyone there. She walks over to the outside to the garden while looking around, but no one was there either. The roses were in full bloom as the red was brightened by the sunlight's glowing light. The warm temperature had her in a blue sundress that fell to her ankles as she wore three-quarter lengths sleeves as her long blonde hair was in waves and two strands of it were pulled back with a hair accessory. One would say she look ethereal and the other one probably won't know what to say about that.

As Erielle came bounding out to her with a skip in her step a warm smile on her lips, she spoke, "The travel plans are ready for tonight, my High Lady."

She looks at her with a weird expression, but shook her head, "Thank you, Erielle. I told you to use my name and quit saying that."

Erielle burst into soft laughter at that, "I know, but I love your expressions."

Asteria shook her head, but a warm smile spread across her lips while looking away from her. Softly, they walk back through the dining room area and the main hallway before walking down to the open door on the side where the stairs were. Both of the ladies walk into the room and she looks at her desk once again, "I can't do any more work right now. If I do I will lose my head." She frowns deeply while looking over to the windows to the outside world once more as she thought about going or a swim or doing something with herself right at the moment, but who knows for certain? Erielle added helpfully, "Well, we do have a guest coming. You do remember that, right?"

"Yes, of course, I remember." She gave her an emissary look while rolling her eyes while taking a deep breath to settle herself while asking, "When will she or he be here?"

"They should be arriving now or later. It depends on what they are doing in the human world or if they are traveling by something." Erielle asked while shrugging her shoulders at her mistress while wondering the same thing. Erielle usually knows that something was going to happen, but it was always difficult with the humans as they go through a complicated process that annoys her greatly. It annoys her High Lady even more with the terrible communication between the Kingdom and her Court, but it was never easy with the humans at all. None of it was easy as well. Hopefully, the Queen or King got the memo that they were heading out to a gathering later that evening as High Lord Emeric requested her and the Queen or King. She had set Erielle to watch over her Court until she gets back from the gathering. Hopefully, it will go well with them and there won't be any fights or bickering the two especially his inner circle members that likes to stick their noses into their business. Nosy brats.

How could the darkness hurt? Taliesin could remember pain before the darkness.. Her body being torn apart by liquid fire. Then the nothingness had taken her. Her mind and body fracturing into pieces. Even here in the dark, sensation had flashed through. Pain.. breathless drowning.. While those sensations had come and gone, she'd slowly begun to gather the shattered fragments of herself. Some parts were missing, as she put together the decimated picture of herself. Time here in the darkness seemed to have no meaning. Days, seconds? She didn't know one from the other. Each small razor sharp part of who she was slowly placed into the frame of her mind. Too many pieces were missing.

That darkness was confusing. It was her reality, but was it? Her mind screamed at her that this wasn't where she was meant to be, but the small almost child like part of her that bled to put the picture together seemed content to remain in this darkness. The darkness was safe. Here there was no pain. A floating feeling, warmth.. But no more pain. If I leave here.. there will be pain.. and I still don't have all the pieces.. not whole.. The voice was small, a quite whisper that slithered through the endless dark, bouncing back towards her. Not whole...

The woman on the beach where the warriors landed had once, perhaps been lovely. Laying in the sand, cuts and bruises covered her face, and any exposed part of her skin. It was safe to assume that the unexposed flesh had not been spared. She'd been beaten, tortured and left for dead. After a few long moments, her chest would rise, just barely as her body took a breath. Her skin was pale, marred in black and purple.. Blood crusted into cuts, the sea water not enough to wash all of it from her. Her hair was silver and grey, seaweed and sand tangled into it. Underneath blue tinged lashes, her eyes flickered. How long had she been there? It would be hard to tell. The sea water having dried out her lips, even relaxed it looked like she had a secret to share, the cut in her lip nor the rough appearance enough to hide it. Minutes would pass before another shallow breath was taken.

A small crab crawled from between her breasts, underneath the torn top, the knit of it rough. The skittering of it's legs again her battered flesh earned no sound from her. Whatever had happened, she'd been through the mill more than once.

------

Standing at the border of the human lands and the spring court Amoret looked at her retainer. None of the men or women, armed to the teeth look pleased. "You alone are allowed passage.." The Fae repeated again. A soft sigh escaped her lips, and she nodded. She knew, if the stories were true.. that her guards would not be able to keep her alive, should the Fae decide to kill her. She'd not risk their lives. "Go back to the village. Hammish and Lorette will come back daily to check to see if I am back" There was no need to station all fifteen of her guards there for Lady only knew how long. A sound of protest sounded behind her and she looked over her shoulder, the flash of her emerald green eyes enough to cause the protest to die on Hammish's lips.

Amoret was a small delicate female, but the aura of power was like the one that cling to the handsome Fae male before her. She couldn't easily kill her fellow man.. she didn't scream danger like he did. No as a Queen, she expected obedience, a unified front before strangers. She wasn't so cocky as to not listen to counsel. Those she surrounded herself with she trusted with her life. The argument had begun months ago under the scorching heat of of the desert sun and had continued until this very morning. This wasn't their problem, this war was the Fae. What did it matter to their world? She'd disagreed. It might not happen in their life time, but if the Fae went to war, it would eventually spill into the human world.

Looking up at the male before her, the heavy fall of raven hair slithered down along her back. "I am ready" Her voice was sweeter than it should have been to look at her. A lilting tone, musical almost. Shifting, the beading of her dress made a soft rustle of sound. She'd have preferred to wear something more normal for her, but she was a Queen, representing at the very least her kingdom. Hundreds of thousands of beads fell down her soft curves, held at the waist with a simple golden belt. The pale beads stood out only just against the airy cream fabric underneath. The whole effect giving her an almost nude illusion. Beaded straps held the dress up and others rested along her upper arm, around her elbow more of that cream color fabric formed sleeves. The crown she'd been offered declined for her normal circlet of gold.

She knew that she'd be put to sleep, to protect their lands. Offered a hand she was pulled into the saddle of the horse the Fae sat upon. The rustling of her dress was the last thing before her world went dark. It had been like one long blink when she woke again she found herself cradled by the soft plushness of a mattress. Sitting up, she looked around the room, emerald eyes skipping along the pale, warm colors.. And when she breathed in she could smell roses, their heady fragrance filling her lungs. She seemed to be alone fore the moment. Standing she moved toward the window and gave a small gasp.

Through the planes of glass was a world of eternal spring. Bright, grassy greens, flashes of color peppered through the landscape in various flowers in bloom. Amoret had wondrous gardens in her own palace, but it didn't compare to what lay just beyond the window. She'd heard of the spring court, of course.. But to hear of it's beauty and to witness first hand? It's stark contrast of her own lands. The oasis in which her palace was built was lovely.. But this was unlike anything she'd ever seen.

"Well, she is very beautiful," Sebastian mentions while gazing down at the woman.

Vladimir nudged him in the ribs, "Shut up."

Sebastian only shrugged his shoulders, but he never loses his smirk at all. Not to his brother who was tall and silent. A little bit on the brooding side, but nothing more than that. He was his spy after all as he had the knack for it and to be sneaky where Sebastian was quite loud and brought attention to himself. All the time. Then Emeric always ends up in the middle of things. It was annoying as well, but he was used to the attention and even did his own way of being flirty as well. He had his own moments of being a wicked little devil, but that was how Emeric rolls. Fun and playful. Hot and flirty. A lot of women like to have their way with Sebastian and Emeric. Knowing they were strong and as a three-man unit. They were powerful as well.

"If you guys are done gawking, can we still see if she is alive?" Emeric asked the two guys. A soft muttered of an apology was emitted from both of them.

Emeric lowered himself onto one knee and examine the woman's body closely. His eyes going over the marks, the wounds, the scratches, and the bruises that were forming on her body. This woman took one hell of a beating. It doesn't look too good for her, but he could tell that she was breathing. The crab came crawling out of her dress as Sebastian jump away while screaming like a little girl, "A freaking crab was down her boobs. Man, does this woman want to have someone's hand down the front of her shirt?" Emeric only smirks at him and with a simple flick of his finger, he flicks it away from her and watches it fly across the sandy beaches.

"Well, at least I know what you are good at, Sebastian." Emeric grinned while gently lifting the woman's body off of the ground and into his arms. Finding her to be very light. Almost like a feather or nothing at all. Mykel will have to see her immediately and treat her for injuries or anything else that she had to suffer as well. Whoever did this was quite vicious and she has to be seen now if she were to survive. That's at least what he assumes with those serious injuries of her. She had suffered a great deal, but who was she? He didn't recognize her features or who she would belong to any of the Solar Courts or any of the Four Seasons Courts, but he will have to wait until later. Much later to ask her who she was and where she had come from.

"What is that, Emeric?" He asked him with a raised eyebrow and a wary expression as well.

"You scream like a girl and you are quite good at." Emeric stood up tall and with a devilish grin of his own as Sebastian's eyes widen along with Vladimir snorted and ended up coughing from trying to cover his laughter, but it wasn't working at all.

"That was uncalled for!" Sebastian growled at me.

He only made pucker lips as him and kissing noises while Vladimir ended turning away from this while unfurling his bat-like wings. He winnows out of there with that infuriating smirk of his on his lips as Sebastian howled for him to wait to Vlad who was already in the sky. Cursing up a storm before he launches himself into the sky after Vladimir.

Emeric had returned to Velaris, the City of Stars and enter his townhouse where he went to where Mykel usually hangs out in his room. He calls out for him, "Mykel!"
There was no answer yet before Mykel appeared out of those shadows as a shiver went down his spine while Emeric's lips went into a scowl while glaring at him, "I really hate when you do that."

The infirmary was where Mykel was usually found when Emeric of the others was looking for him. Especially his cousin Anya. The infirmary was turned into an alchemy room where Mykel usually makes his concoctions and his potions as well as doing home remedies. A lot of the healers come to him for advice and he seeks out the higher ones for more knowledge or to make an excellent healing remedy as well. There was one window with heavy red drapes that were partially open with gold trim around it. Anya's touch and made sure that his patients were well-rested in his infirmary/alchemy room. There was a desk with a bunch of neat papers stack and a couple of books sitting there that were mostly herbs and crystals along with something else that Emeric couldn't read from where he was standing with the lady in his arms. His infirmary room was always neat and organized. He was very particular about where he has things and where they were located. Even his shelf of books was Alphabetize as well.

Mykel flashes him his yellow eyes before they return to a normal shade of a dark brown color almost looking like chocolate- a very good sweet. Mykel only grins before gesturing to the bed, "You can lay her down there." He pointed out to the bed that was beautifully decorated and very soft for his patients. He believes that having some decent to help the patients recover faster which includes a very nice soft bed. He notices how damaged the girl was after Emeric did as he was ordered to. Mykel waves to his High Lord, "I'll take care of her. Go do whatever you normally do to occupy your time."

Emeric only grins before doing what Mykel said to do and he was gone like that. Only to be back later to check-in and to see how the lady was doing in his care.

Both of the Ladies were notified that the Mortal Queen was over the borderline of the two worlds and not long before came one of her Spring Guards carrying the Mortal Queen up the stairs to lay down in one of the guest rooms that were unoccupied. Lady Asteria was back in her study as she was a studious person and one that has to get things done or she'll keep wandering around only to find herself back in her large glass study again. She has her own issues of feeling like it wasn't done or she needs to do better. She needs to do this and this and to make sure that her subjects were happy. Finding other ways than the Tether to make the Spring Court roll in its riches and becoming equally partner with every other Courts especially on a financially-based economy. Something that her friend from The Night Court had taught her and bring some more happiness to her people. Everyone was content with their High Lady and they love her. She was relieved that problem was settle, but she still had other work to do and to keep her book balance as well.

There seem to never be a day where High Lords and Ladies can get a day off from their duties. Erielle had gone on a patrol and to check the quarters of the guards along with the stables. Keeping herself busy just as her High Lady was, but sometimes pulling her out of that stuffy room to get some fresh air as well. All of them could use that and this gathering was just the thing for her High Lady to loosen up. As her High Lady went to get some fresh air out in the garden which was her favorite place to be at right now. Erielle had gone up to the room where the Mortal Queen was located at. Erielle enters the room and glance at her before looking around the room. She went over to sit in the chair as Erielle didn't dress up in fancy dresses nor did she act like one either. She was in trousers and a deep dark forest green tunic. Her fiery hair was up into a perfect crown on top of her head. Her eyes watching the Mortal Queen as she should be waking up any time now.

On cue, the Mortal Queen had awakened. Erielle watches her take in her surroundings and noticing how she was beautifully dressed even daringly so. Her High Lady would greatly enjoy the Mortal Queen and her dress. The High Lord and his savage beasts there would just love this Mortal Queen and her dress. Goodness, she didn't even want to think about those fools and flaunting their desires to the Mortal Queen. That was would be great entertainment, but annoying as well. With a soft sigh, she stood up from where she was and spoke while smoothing her tunic out, "Welcome to The Spring Court, my lady is waiting for you in the garden."

She pauses while taking her in and gesture to the door on the side of the room, "If you are ready, I can escort you to her." Erielle patiently waited for her to respond to her and strutting over to the door. Opening it and then standing in the doorway while waiting for her, but also being prepared as well. Erielle couldn't help noticing that the Mortal Queen had a beautiful face and she was a little petite with her frame. A very beautiful mortal queen that was grace with beauty and power. Yes, her High Lady will very much like this woman. What was the other term that they use for Royalty for humans? Oh right, Regal.

Taliesin was unaware that she was being moved.. Winnowed. All of it was missed by the slumbering female in his arms. Trapped in her own mind, in her own hell. She wouldn't have been shy at being stripped down to her bare skin. It was the kind of thing she had never been raised to be semiconscious about. In truth, it would have been the fact that there was no inch of her that wasn't marred in some way. There was no question that she'd been tortured, though for how long would be anyone's guess. Some bruises lay over what seemed to be healing marks.

As Mykel tended to her wounds. Rubbing ointment into her skin, wrapping her carefully in bandages. In her mind she was been oblivious of everything. The gentle touches, the changing of her clothing. The outfit a common one for the night court, the airy fabric a deep royal purple. Had Taliesin not been covered in a patchwork of bruises, the color would have looked stunning on her pale form. Striking even against the silver grey of her hair. It wasn't until he tried to tip a potion down her throat that Taliesin even seemed to react. Her body thrashed as he tried to pour the liquid down her throat. Her mind screamed at that, a warning trilling through her. They'd always drugged her, a concoction of iron to keep her powers dormant. To make her almost mortal.

Lashes lifted suddenly, startling blue eyes drowned out but her iris. The fear riding her. Not tied down she was able to scramble away coughing up the potion. Her breathing ragged. Her fight or flight kicking in hard. As if on auto pilot she reached for the silver of a blade that flashed on the table she had landed by in a crouch. She didn't attack, but if Mykel tried to get closer she would strike out. Taliesin was no better than a feral animal defending herself. Injured, hurting. A soft feral growl escaping her. Her chest rose and fell quickly, hyperventilating.

Anyone getting close to her would be treated the same way. It was clear, even in her feral state that Taliesin was trained to fight on some level. The way she held the blade, the way she attacked. Even injured, her body screaming in pain she moved with grace and deadly efficiency.

--------

Spinning as the voice spoke behind her. Amoret's heart pounding in her chest. Had.. the woman always been there? Lifting a hand to her heart she let out a soft exhale of breath. "I suppose it's lucky you mean me no harm" The words were soft, playful even as she tried to learn how to breathe again. A quick smile came to her lips, a dimple flashing in the corner of her mouth. "Thank you, for the welcome." Turning her head she looked back out the window. "I had heard tale of your kingdom. The land of eternal spring.. Even in my own realm, I have never seen such beauty" The sweet words were genuine. Amoret didn't see much point in false flattery, tending to be blunt. It was something her people both loved and hated about her.

Turning back as the pretty Fae gestured to the door. "Oh, of course." She crossed the room, the beading of her dress shifting softly. She moved with practiced grace, her small from swaying with each step. It had taken years of her youth to obtain the feline like grace, but compared to Erielle, the movement paled in comparison. Inclining her head. "Please, lead the way?" She wasn't demanding, prissy. Following Erielle from the room she glanced about. The realm of the Fae was breathtaking. As were the paintings. They seemed lifelike, in a way she'd never seen. Pausing for a moment before one of a garden, "Beautiful.." the word whispered.

Blushing she caught up up with Erielle. Letting her lead her toward the gardens. It would have been a lie to say she didn't feel nervous. In theory, she should have been 'equal' to the High Lady if one was to compare rank, but she couldn't help the nervous butterflies that swirled in her stomach. She didn't feel less than, but intimidated at the prospect of meeting such a power Fae? Yeah, she couldn't help the nerves. She doubted that the High Lady felt the same nerves. Amoret knew that she was a child to the Fae, a mere twenty years old. The Fae lived hundreds of years, at least. As they neared the garden, she tried to pull herself together. She was a queen, a young queen.. But she would at least act like it. Not like some awestruck mortal.

Mykel had attended her injuries as best as he could as he notices that a lot of it. She had to heal on her own terms and her own ways. It looks like she was badly damaged and during all of this. He wasn't quite sure what to think about this woman. Not even knowing if she were truly mortal or something else. Her ears told him that she was mortal, but it was hard to tell with this woman. He made a soft hum of interest, but only continue to do his work and selecting a rare potion that he had received through some heavy fines of payment, but with this, she would feel ten times better. Not expecting anything to happen. He was trying to slip the contents of the vial pass her lips to let her drink it. Anya had returned with more bandages and more clean cloths as well, but as he tips the liquid content into her mouth. She started to react to him as Anya had quickly set the things down to help him out, but instead, she pulled him away at the sight of her opening her eyes. She pulled on his arm as both of them move backward quickly. "What the hell did you do?" Anya asked him with a raised eyebrow.

"I was only trying to heal her inside wounds and now, I don't even know if that had gone into her system," Mykel answered while saying more than a few words which surprised Anya. He was lucky enough to save some of the potion mixes.

A soft sigh escapes from his lips as they watch her go into a crouch, both of them a little wary of what she will do. Both of them were well-prepared for battles as Emeric made sure of that as well. He was serious about defending themselves since they usually were on the battlefield with the other Illyrian. They were a few that didn't understand the ways and that's when Emeric knocks some heads in. Mykel only needs to look at someone and it gets them to do that. He was evil when he wanted to be and quite attractive as well. At least to Anya, she thought he was. As they were ready for action, Mykel stepped forth. Showing his yellow color eyes at her and giving that ruthless smirk of his, "I wouldn't do that if I were you, my dear." His voice had dropped to a scary one, but one that was almost like velvet. In a scarier way as this was how he got through people especially one who was badly hurt. Anya couldn't help, but notice how skillful her position was in.

"Anya, raise your hands," Mykel ordered her too.

Anya didn't hesitate as she raises her hands up to the woman crouch in the position. Mykel did the same thing as well, but lower himself to one knee. "We are all warriors here. We are here to help you. To patch you and by moving, you just cost yourself a week in my infirmary." Anya grimaces at that as she hates being trapped here especially if she ends up injured as well which wasn't cool at all. Anya's eyes raise up to find Emeric standing there along with Sebastian and Vladimir. All three were surprised and their jaws hitting the floor.

Mykel order while not taking his eyes off of the girl, "Nobody moves a single muscle." His eyes were on the woman as he shows her the vial and took a small sip as it won't hurt him. "See? Perfectly safe." It tasted almost like sunshine and mineral water. It was the mineral that helps to heal the inside of a Fae's body, but he believes that it works a little more strongly on whatever she is. "Relax. No one is going to hurt you." He coaxes her very gently.

A soft sigh escapes from Asteria's lips as she gazes up at the blue sky with the fluffy white clouds dancing across the sky. She wasn't bored at all. She was a little nostalgic these days. It was why she always kept herself busy during the day and the night, but only stopping when she felt like she was going to past out any second. The wind blew her long blonde hair away from her shoulders and swept it down to the middle of her shoulder blades. Her blue eyes closing for a moment before opening them again and looking over at the doors to see them walking out to the garden. Her eyes widen to see the Mortal Queen as she walks over to greet them. Her dress was very imaginative. Bold of her to wear such a thing here. She was beautiful and graceful, but she notices how well she held herself up. Even with the whole human world on her shoulders. She could hold herself up well. Good, at least the Mortal Queen wasn't a sniveling fool sniffing around for power.

Erielle had only grin at her while leading her down the many hallways and down the stairs through the two rooms before walking out into the sunshine of the garden. She decided to wait until she got here before speaking to the Mortal Queen, "Most humans can't imagine our realm. We live with the magic that our ancestors grant us. Humans can only imagine what it's like to be Immortal as it can be grand, but we all have darkest stories to tell." Erielle gave her a chilly statement while looking over to her mistress as her mistress came out from where she was. Dress in her blue spring dress as her feet were barefoot and her sleeves were off the shoulder, bellowing around her elbows. Her blonde hair in waves and with two strands of hairpin behind her head. "This is my High Lady, Asteria."

Asteria look over at the Mortal Queen, her eyes raking over her and then back up to settle on her eyes, "Amoret of The Human Kingdom that the name escapes my mind. A pleasure to have you here in my Court. I do hope you were well informed by my letter as it is for the day and for the evening as well, miss?" Asteria was always getting down to business. She was never one to chit-chat at all. She did what she had to do and never beat around the bush at all. Her blue eyes were filled with warmth and something else as well, but it was gone with the batter of her eyelashes. "I do hope you didn't mind being asleep as we- Fae take great precautions to protect our own people and our own Courts as well.

"Some our worst than others." Erielle chime in helpfully.

Asteria gave her Emissary a look while gesturing to the human that she didn't need to know that. Erielle only shrugged her shoulders while giving an innocent look even though her eyes told a different story and her fiery hair was lit up by the sunlight. She stands protectively in front of Asteria, but lazily as well. Only to fool people in thinking that she was not paying attention when she was. That would be their first mistake in underestimating her. "Others have different views is all. The one that we are meeting tonight as been my friend and help me build this Court to what it is now." She added helpfully and hoping that Erielle didn't frighten the woman as it was the last thing that she needed.

The calming tone used by Mykel helped, as did him taking a sip of the medicine. Even still, it would take time for the information to penetrate the haze wrapped around her brain. Taliesin's mind struggled to process that they meant her no harm. When the others had joined, she was unsure if they had always been there? Minutes would pass before Taliesin relaxed. She didn't release her weapon, no the illusion of safety wasn't the same as being safe. Slowly she rose from the crouch she'd been in.. the knife held tightly. Brilliant sky blue eyes skipped over the people within the room. At least three of them were warriors, no mistake.

As she took in her surroundings Taliesin tried to desperately remember anything beyond her name. Where she was, why she was here.. What had she been doing previous to waking here? Her childhood? It was all inky blackness. Nothing came to the questions she had. She couldn't even recall what she looked like. A frown pulled at her mouth, causing her lip to reopen. The pain was minimal, but there. Wiping a delicate hand across her mouth it came away with the crimson of her blood. Frowning down at it her world swam. It wasn't a memory in the normal since, but pain. Her back arched with the phantom memory, leaving her leaning on the table for support panting softly.

It was as if the flash of whatever it was called back the trauma her body had suffered. Her body hurt, inside and out. Looking back to the group before her, she finally spoke. Her voice was husky.. Like taking a drink of strong alcohol, the sound her voice almost burning. "Where am I?" She wanted to ask so much more, but one small step at a time. "How did I get here?" Slowly standing despite the pain, Taliesin held herself up with nothing supporting her and beyond a small momentary tremble she showed no other signs of the pain for now. Weakness is not tolerated. The words came floating back to her, the voice feminine.

-----

Following the silent Fae Lady she smiled softly when she finally spoke, a curl of her lips. "True enough. I suppose such things go both ways. I could try explaining the desert I live in to another, and they'd have trouble picturing the warm golden sand that flows like water. The way the air can shimmer, playing tricks on the eyes of men.. The oasis which seemingly grows in a barren land, sheltering my people. Of the way the sun beats down, warming from within first. I tried once.." Her smile grew a fraction. The Prince she'd tried to explain her home to had never really understood, but he had been kind enough to indulge her and her talk of home. The warning of the darkness was not lost on Amouret, but even those not as long lived held darkness.. But saying so was not relevant.

Amouret gazed up at the High Lady of the spring court. Like her lands, she was lovely.. Inclining her head slightly she smiled softly. Letting her eyes slip along her. "It is a pleasure to meet you. I am aware, yes. I have made arrangements with my retainer to check back in in the morning." Her eyes slid to Erielle and her smile quirked to one side. "And understandable practice. My parents, nor my Parents parents do not recall the wars, but long lived as you are.. I can understand the desire to protect yourself. For not only mortals..."

The gaze passing between the High Lady and Erielle was not missed by those jade eyes. She inclined her head slightly. "Indeed. Do you wish for me to share the information I bear just the once?" Amouret had no qualms about repeating herself. She came to help them, for her words to her advisors likely rang true. The war if it was to happen would not not be seen in her time. Not a hard and fast fact, but highly likely. Her eyes lowered for a moment to a single bloom, her fingers tracing the petals. "I do have a small request, if it would not be an imposition" Gazing back up to Asteria, a sweet blush touched her cheeks, coloring them a faint pink. "I'd love to see more of your lands" One small hand lifted and she gestured to the lands around them. "It's unlike anything I have seen." Her smile was shy "But that's not unexpected, I suppose." The request was truly an innocent one. Sure, she would love if the lovely High Lady herself would take her on the tour but she'd have settled for anyone. Erielle who tried to scare her, or the Fae who she'd ridden into the spring lands with, soundly asleep. It wasn't like she'd have another chance at such a request.

Mykel spoke to her softly, "See, it's not gonna hurt you, but it is too help you as well."

He was encouraging to her as he held the golden liquid vial in his hand while waiting for her to come to her senses, but Morrigan was eyeing the weapon. Mykel sent her a look of don't even try it. She gave him a glaring look while folding her arms across her chest while inclining her head to him, but of course. He ignores her as usual. Freaking stupid male. She grinds her teeth together while looking over to see the girl that had a tight gripped on the sword. This woman was not backing from a fight anyway at all. Right now, they were in a stalemate. Something was going to happen, but what? She was dripping blood from her mouth from her injuries. She wouldn't even let Mykel heal her. So, what the hell was she going to do? Apparently, she was going to drown herself in her own blood and her own injuries. Fine then.

A soft sigh escapes from her lips while she looks over to her cousin Emeric. His dark brown eyes were on the woman as well. The other two Illyrian warriors were as well. Both of them train on her. Ready to take flight if needed to be as they watch her. Mykel was the one who was coaxing her, "You are in Velaris. This High Lord Emeric's Court of Dreamers." He added softly to her as he added, "Another name that is known for this is called The Court of Stars. That where you are right now." He insisted while slowly taking a step toward her. "I need you to drink this. So, you don't die from the internal wounds that you have." He extended the vial out to her as his golden eyes setting on her and waiting for her to make a move. Some kind of move or even voice her opinions again or even say something else as well.

Mykel nodded his head over to his High Lord Emeric and the Illyrian Warriors are known as Sebastian and Vladimir, "Those three save you from being wash upon the shore of this court. We don't know even know where you have come from much less needing someplace to heal and they brought you here. This is Emeric's townhome." He gestures to the male that had his eyes on the woman and he was quite stunned as he kept his lips shut. Mykel and Anya share a confused look as they weren't sure what to think of it. The Illyrian warriors were oblivious to this, of course. Since they were flanking him on both sides and right behind him as well. His eyes were trained on the female before as he wasn't sure what he was feeling, but he was feeling something. Something real and ancient like he was or that was how he felt. All of them were waiting for her to make a move or collapse or do something.

Erielle was watching her mistress and the human woman before them. She only curled her lips up at the mortal queen and at her words as well. Nodding to her in understanding as well as listening to her too. She patiently returns her attention back to her High Lady even though Asteria had said more than once to not address her as that. She was only a friend to her which Erielle treasure that very deeply. They had been through thick and thin with each other and through tough times as well. Even with Erielle, herself with what she had endured because of her parents. Because of her freaking father, that murderer and Asteria took her as a friend and one to call sister. For it was just them in the beautiful manor now. No one else was around except for when the High Lord Emeric dropped by to say hello to Asteria. Always causing a riot out of her and sometimes bringing those insufferable Illyrian males too. Erielle murmured softly to her, "Your land sounds very enchanting, miss."

Asteria look over at the Mortal Queen and standing where she is, but not saying anything at all. She saw how her eyes wander, but so did her own. The woman was beautiful and she was an intriguing woman. Asteria was curious about what Erielle meant as she glances at the Mortal Queen, but she didn't say anything at all. Her mind was on the load of paperwork that seems to never end at all. It was driving her insane and her power tremble at the thing of sitting in that study even for once. She looks away for a moment to take in her garden before taking a deep breath to settle her nerves as she glances back at the woman. Listening to her speak, she nodded her head along to her words, "I am not surprised as you guys have shorter life spans than we do." She shrugged her shoulders casually as she added, "That won't be necessary."

Asteria rose an eyebrow up at The Mortal Queen as she waited for her proposition and her blue eyes widen to her words. Erielle was surprised as well, but she looks at her High Lady while speaking, "Remember we still have that gathering for tonight with Emeric."

The High Lady rose an eyebrow up at her Emissary but rolled her eyes as she chuckled softly at that, "I know, but we still have time to do other things as well. I am in no rush to go to that High Lord's place right now." She snorted while looking over at the Mortal Queen again after thinking some while nodding her head, "All right. I will grant your request. I need to get some fresh air before the gathering and away from my study as well." Erielle rolled her eyes while speaking, "Are you sure about that?" The High Lady looks over at Erielle while giving her a look, "Yes, I am."

Erielle only chuckled, "Very well then. I shall go off and find something to entertain myself."

As Erielle retreated back into the manor, Asteria look back over at her while inclining her head to follow as she turns around gracefully and follows the trail all the way to the back of her garden that had a gate back there that she can exit her way to it. Slowly, she glances over her shoulder to look at the mortal woman and asked her while continuing to walk down the path, "Are you coming?"

Out of her mind, yes.. She didn't miss the look that passed between Mykel and Morrigan. The weapon was held tighter again as she watch the male's approach, the vial of golden liquid extended to her. Her eyes flickered to the others in the room. Her mind fluttering through options. He'd taken a sip himself, and seemed to not be suffering and if they wished her harm.. there was no doubt in Taliesin's mind they could just hurt her. Short of some sort of psychological game.. Her free hand reached out for the vial, careful to not touch him as she took it. Her eyes moved to Emeric's. His kingdom, his home.. Pale eyes held his own as she tipped the contents of the vial into her mouth, swallowing it after a moment. It tasted of sweet summer air and something she couldn't place her finger on.

She gently laid the vial on the desk beside her.. Taliesin's eyes moving to the Illyrians and back to Emeric again. Slowly, she inclined her head in thanks. If they meant her harm she wouldn't be able to defend herself against so many. Not when every part of her body screamed in pain. It was sheer force of will that kept the stubborn female upright. The choice made, she extended the sword hilt first directly to Emeric. "Thank you, for saving me" She wasn't without manners, if they had indeed saved her from the beach, gratitude was the least she could show. That warm husky voice was offered to them all, but it was clearly directed to Emeric. The weight of the blade was held steadily in her hand, the previous signs of pain all but gone, save for one. Taliesin's eyes couldn't hide the pain she felt, the edges pinched.. her pupils too large slowly drowning out all of that pretty sky blue.

Taliesin didn't know why it was hard to draw her eyes from the male but she managed, her eyes switching to Mykel. "And to you as well.." Once the blade was taken from her hand, her arm would drop. They seemed it knew no more than she having found her laying on a sandy shore of a beach in their lands. Underneath her bruises, she had enough grace to blush softly. "I am sorry healer, if I have undone any of your hard work" She was trying to play nice, but she couldn't bring herself to move back to the bed she'd woken on. The reason? She wasn't sure she could move. Standing was hard enough, but to walk the few steps?
_____

The relationship between the High Lady and her Emissary made Amouret want to smile, but she knew who she was, who she was with.. and contained her grin though her green eyes danced with the laughter her face otherwise contained. It was interesting, the pair clearly close. When Erielle mummered to her about her lands she smiled softly. "Perhaps one day you could see them" It was the kind of offer she knew she'd never be taken up on, the Fae very rarely left their lands. It was unheard of for them to publicly visit any of the kingdoms. She meant her words either way, she was just not a fool.

Amouret held her next observation to herself as the High Lady's eyes widened a faction. Her eyes were lovely.. When her request was accepted, Amouret's whole face lit up as she smiled. "You honor me" Again things passed between the women, her smile fading back into that sweet curl of lips as they spoke. Her mind drifting to Queen Everly. She'd not have handled the way the two spoke as if she wasn't there well. Used to being the center all of attention, her temper was short. Amouret didn't mind, knowing that the likely didn't mean or even know to humans that what they did was rude. Nothing was gained by saying about it and besides, she loved watching them.

As Asteria walked off, Amoutet took advantage for but a moment to watch how she moved. Chuckling she nodded catching up to her. Walking beside her, her dress clinking softly as she walked. Her eyes were on the world around them, soaking up the beauty of Asteria's lands. A deep breath was taken, her smile growing. She seemed to have no desire to wear that careful mask now that they were alone. Casting jade green eyes up towards the woman beside her, "I have to admit, while the circumstances of my visit are not pleasant, I am happy for this small break. I am not sure if it's the same for you.." her voice trailed off for a moment as she stopped, bending to smell a flower, her silky black hair falling past her shoulder in a cascade of ebony. "But There always to be some issue waiting for me.. Even when I make careful plans for a small amount of free time" Straightening she tucked a lock of hair behind her ear and smiled to Asteria.

Emeric was standing on end as he watches her freak out and Mykel being the calm person that he is usually being unless provoking by the two Illyrians idiots that he wanted to knock their heads in at times, but they were his dear brothers. He had to live with them and was grateful for their presence when he needed them as well. Everyone was at a standstill with what was going on with the woman that was standing there with a sword in her hand. Mykel managed to calm her down enough where he took the sword and toss it to one of them. Sebastian caught it in his hand while twirling around before sheathing the blade into its case. Not knowing where he had found that case, but at least it wasn't out in the open to stabbed anyone anymore. Encouraging the woman to take the vial while holding out his hand to help her down from the bed that she was standing on. Emeric nodded to the two Illyrian warriors while they nodded back while heading out of the room.

They were glad to be out of that room as he could hear their voices trailing down the staircase even in murmurs. Emeric shook his head while his cousin Anya looks over at him. Raising an eyebrow at him, "Well, glad that is over."

Emeric glance over at the woman that spoke to him as he simply shrugged his shoulders at her, "All in a day's work."

Mykel gave Anya a sharp look that said shut it and she stuck her tongue out at her while giving his High Lord a look that Emeric knew well. He crosses over to him and stood on his other side while extending his hand to the woman that needed to lay back down after changing her bandages. Mykel requested of Anya, "Anya, would you be a dear and bring me the bandages along with the ointments, please?" He asked her while waiting patiently for her to do as he said. To his surprise, Anya did it without saying anything at all. Grabbing the bandages along with the glass vials that he kept for his ointments and he gestured for her to place them on the table. Anya did before speaking, "Don't forget we have other things to do later, Emeric."

Emeric look over at his cousin and threw her a rueful smirk, "I do know this, Anya."

She rolled her eyes at him before slipping out of the room and going downstairs as she went to go search for some of the Night Court's clothing for the woman to change of those clothes. The new woman needed a bath as well, but Mykel will have to clear that before she looks like she wanted to get out of that bed. At least until she was healed to the point where she could actually walk and not fall on her face or open her injuries again either. That was the last thing that they needed from her again was for the woman to open those injuries again. Mykel reassured her, "Don't thank me yet. You are still not out of the water yet especially with these wounds that you have suffered." He pointed out to her.

Erielle gave a small wave to let the woman know that she had heard her before crossing back into the Spring estate to get things ready for tonight with the High Lord of The Night Court. More like pain in the butt with that one and the most annoying one especially with those insufferable Illyrians that he brings as well, but for some reason, he was able to make her lady smile and laugh even bringing out the emotions that she rarely shares with anyone. The High Lady of The Spring Court guided her out of the garden and down a trail that lead to the milky star river where it shone beautifully in the light of the spring sun. She spends a lot of time here as she turns to face the woman that was with her as her own company. Speaking softly to her, "I hope you aren't one of those mortals that are afraid to show some skin."

She challenged her as her eyes twinkle in the sunlight as she remove the dress that was wearing, bearing her breasts that perk up at the warm welcome of the spring breeze that ruffles her hair. Slipping her undergarment off, while placing it with her dress, she walks to the water and waddles in as the warm water curled up around her knees. Swishing around her thighs before sinking more into the water while turning around and waiting for her to join her as a smile spread across her lips as she splashes the water over to her in a gentle push. Enough for sprinkles of water to graze her in wet droplets, but that was all she did as she sank lower into the river. Not realizing that it had been a while since she had been out here in this water and feeling the stress and tension in her neck slowly melt away. Erielle had joined her as well in the water as they had fun while being in the water, but at the same time, they had a very long talk about a lot of things as well.

Asteria lay her head back as the water soak her long blonde hair while she breathes out a soft sigh of relief as it felt nice to soak up this water. She had to make sure not to spend too much time here as she did have a guest coming over later that night as well for dinner and a small meeting with the mortal leader to settle the agreements between their borders, but right now, she wanted to relax and have some fun. Not worry about what will happen later or with Emeric being his usual self. It never seems to fail that High Lord to quit flirting with all of the girls. It was quite annoying, but amusing as well.

Helped down, she tried to not grip the hand that held hers too tightly as her body threatened to sway. The conversation hadn't been missed, but Taliesin was quickly running out of that burst of energy that her adrenaline had produced. Blue eyes tracked the mean as they left before turning to the three remaining in the room with her. Emeric and Anya spoke and Mykel looked at Anya. A part of her found their interactions charming on some level. Like a family they argued; families did that didn't they? In truth Taliesin couldn't remember, but it seemed to fit in what she perceived, so she let it go.

Encouraged to lay back, she did so with reluctance as they moved around her, preparing to tend to her wounds again. The adrenaline faded slowly and within minutes against the plush bed, she found her eyes struggling to stay open. If she closed her eyes, sleep would claim her again, she knew it. She wasn't ready for that darkness again. Dimly she could recall the darkness before. Not what was within it.. But with how it made her feel she wasn't ready for it again.

A smile, wry smile curled on her lips. "As you like, but I am still thankful for the work you have done so far." Her lashes dipped for a moment and struggled to reopen, flickering for a moment before she could draw her eyes back open. Her voice softened, lowered as she asked, "Do you know what happened to me?" There were flashes of things, like half remembered memories.. yet they didn't offer any insight as to what had happened. Likely all they knew was she'd been beaten. Taliesin shifted along the bed and hissed in pain for a moment. Panting she stilled. Noted. Moving hurt like hell again.

Her eyes flickered to Emeric, Anya had left. Her eyes searched his features. As his eyes would meet hers, her gaze would move away. Cheeks tinged pink at being caught staring.

----

Walking beside Asteria, a comfortable silence stretching between them. Amoret's pace matching hers as they strolled down a hill, the hem of her dress trailed along the bright grass, the pearls bobbing between the blades of green. A brow lifted and she smiled as she looked to Asteria. Laughing she shook her head as the High Lady began to disrobe. Amoret was no stranger to nudity and began to follow suit, even as Asteria splashed her playfully. Laughing, the bright, sweet sounding as she shook her head, dark raven locks swaying. "Not at all."

The heavy dress of pearls slithered down her body, the sound of tinkling like rain as the small beads clinked against one another on their descent. Sun kissed, golden skin bared to the warmth of spring. She'd not worn underwear, oddly enough such garments threw off the lines of her dress. Slipping into the water without fear, she found it warm and gave a pleased purr in her throat. The water lapped along her thighs and then navel as she swam closer to Asteria. Her dark hair mingled with the molten starlight, which now came to her breasts.

Cupping the water she let it fall from her hand in glimmering drops. "What is this place? It is beautiful." There was awe in her voice as she closed her eyes, savoring the heat as it melted into her bones, warming her to the core. It was magical, but what else would one expect from such lands? It reminded her of home, this warmth. Slowly her lashes opened, her eyes finding Asteria. She was a beautiful woman, the thought, not for the first time crossing her mind.

Emeric met Mykel's gaze as he began to strip her out of her garments in a calm manner while bandaging her wounds once again while applying ointments and salves to her open wounds once more. Emeric felt anger surging through him at the harsh jagged lines that were cut across her body, the blood that appeared as he ground his teeth together. Whoever had done this was going to pay as Mykel spoke with a knowing look and a smirk on his lips as well, "Someone is riled up today." Emeric only waves his hand at him but didn't say anything at all. He felt it. He knows it. He wasn't stupid, but it came to the females. Always the female's decision which he had no say it. No one did at all. Well, people from the Autumn Court would say otherwise since they were cruel and vicious. It was plain obvious with what they did to Erielle who was an advisor for High Lady of The Spring Court.

Mykel didn't say another word, but the smirk didn't fade away from his lips either as he finished up with the woman. Placing her garments back in place with small gentle tugs as he back away from her. Emeric pulled the blanket up around her as he wanted to stroke her hair, her cheek, her innermost desires between her legs, but he didn't say anything at all. Mykel murmured, "Get control over yourself."

Emeric gave him a glaring look, but both of them were listening to her as she was speaking in a soft voice. Both of their expressions soften as Emeric kneeled down on one knee which surprised Mykel because of the tattoos that were in place above his knees, but he only turns away and went back to his station to work out some remedy for the woman, "It's no problem at all." Mykel brushes her words away with a simple dismissal of his hand.

Emeric spoke after that, "I don't know what exactly happens or who cause such harm to you, but my brothers had found you wash up on our shores in this battered way, but I promise that you are safe here. I will make sure of that and if you feel like you need to leave here. Then I will gladly transport you anywhere that you like or you can think of." He promises her that while giving her an irresistible smirk that has his dark brown eyes twinkling with his own amusement.

The High Lady of The Spring Court watched as her guest stripped herself out of her garments. The skin that had shone there created a sheen from the sunlight and her eyes widen to see the beautiful woman in all of her glory. Noticing that she had no undergarments underneath that clothing of hers. Her breathing slows down while she stilled herself in the water. Her body submerges in the water while raising an eyebrow up at her. Her heart fluttering in her chest as the sound of her laughter, her voice, her entire body as she took her in. Taking in every inch of her body as she came striding into the water and Asteria quickly averted her eyes elsewhere that wasn't looking up that body of hers. Her heart thunders away in her chest, but she heard the splashing of the mortal queen entering the waters while raising her head to see her submerging into the water.

Her head tilted to the side while watching her with a fascinating look that crosses her face with a surprised expression. She blinks a couple of times while speaking, "This is the Milky Way River. It's one of my favorite places to be." She looks around while adding, "The Spring Court had a lot of healing to do as well as change." She spoke while looking away in the distance thinking of the hard times that she to go through. A mythical creature still lurks within the forest here, but no one was even sure if it was really the same one as before. She looks back over to her with a faint smile on her lips as the distant expression was gone now, "Tell me about your lands? How are they doing?" She asked her.

Asteria was curious and maybe not for her own good, but she wanted to travel. Emeric was nice enough to take her to his court and show her around Velaris as it was beautiful. It was one of a kind place to be and she found that the art section there was absolutely amazing and he had let her take one of the paintings home even though she stubbornly refuse him, of course. She hadn't explored any other Courts except to make her appearance at the Autumn Court for Erielle and doing a little battling in her favor. Showing that Erielle had chosen her and that if they decided any action against her Court. She'll turn the Autumn Court into nothing more than ruins and she had proven that to them, but shattering their temple by the rumbling of the earth and with vines as well.

Mykel's hands were as gentle as they could be as he stripped her of her clothing. A fae, she didn't feel embarrassed by her nudity. No, what brought color to her cheeks was the look on Emeric's face. Pretty blue eyes moved between the two of them, feeling lost. Why would Emeric care about what had been done to her, beyond someone had hurt another. She didn't think of him without empathy, but this was extreme. Her eyes shifted away from them and closed her eyes. While the draft helped with the pain, she could feel each place and she scoured her blank memory for what had been done to her.

Clothing tugged back into place, she slowly opened her eyes, frowning gently. Laid back she sank against the soft cushions, a small smile coming to her lips as the blanket was pulled over her. It was sweet, the actions of Emeric, though that bond he felt was blocked by something on her end. She didn't have those feelings for him, not yet. She found him kind, less scary than she had heard of him.. It was hard to keep her eyes open, sleep sounded like such a good idea and for a moment, something ran through her that left her feeling hollow. She wanted to be held. Silly, but that comfort was a raw need, one that made tears prickle against her closed lids. That bond was there, but being blocked and it knew it, where neither of them did. She craved his touch just as badly, if only she knew.

She had spoken softly, trying to chase that feeling away. Her eyes opening as she felt Emeric kneel beside her bed. Mykel's answer had come first, but Taliesin's full attention was on his High Lord. Smiling she reached out, her body moving of its own volition, in answer to that smirk. Brushing a lock of hair from his face, her fingers curled inwards into her palm and she blushed, deeply, mortified at the casualness of the touch. Her hand pulled back, fingers still curled into her palm. Swallowing her eyes shimmered with those tears before she blinked them away, nodding. "Thank you." She didn't know what else to say. A part of her wanted to apologize for the touch.. another begged her to ask him for what she desired so badly.

He was a stranger though. A High Lord. He had better things to do than to hold a broken doll until she slept.

----

Amoret thought she perhaps misread the look in Asteria's eyes, though her cheeks flushed softly either way. Her skin was a pale sun kissed gold all over, from days in the sun in her kingdom. There was a reason that casual nudity was not unknown to her, though normally in the privacy of her own palace with servants and occasional lovers.. Something Amoret loved was basking in the warmth of the sun, feeling it melt into her bones and warm her from the inside out.

Her court had beauty, things that even the ethereal quality that the spring court did not have. Sand dunes of white sand that glimmered in the sun.. lush oasis with cool waters of deep blue... Each land had its own beauty. Nothing in her lands was as magical as the pool in which they swam. her eyes moved to Asteria's and she smiled softly. "I don't think your lands have deserts?" In truth she was unsure. "That is where I live." her eyes closed and she tried to describe one of her favorite places. "There is an oasis, some ways into the pristine white sad, we travel there by boats. You see nothing for the longest time, just blue and white. Sky and earth. And then, on the horizon, a splash of darkness, that grows to emerald. In the center of the oasis is a pool of teal, where animals come to drink. The water is cold, an unusual contrast with the heat of my lands, a natural spring that runs deep."

Slowly she opened her eyes and she smiled. "As for my lands otherwise, we do well enough. We trade spices, silks for the other kingdoms. We can support ourselves if need be... But trade is good for all." Her smile softened. "I would like to think my people are happy. I do my best, but I am human. I am sure I have made mistakes. I am sure I do not please everyone, but that is the weight of the crown."

Treading water, she smiled again, brightly. "Perhaps some day you could come see my kingdom."

Emeric had his eyes on her and her movements, feeling like he was in a trance. He felt the need like so many others did with their mates and he wasn't powerful like his ancestor. The power had transferred to the woman named Asteria in the Spring Court. The one that he was trying to build relationships with and to fix the broken rift between them, but it took time. Change always did and Asteria seem determined to change history as well, so it was one step at a time for them. To heal centuries of pain between the two and with what she had suffered, he felt it was his duty to extend a helping hand to the High Lady of The Spring Court. Treaties were still underway especially since she had gained an Autumn Court assistant who seems to suffer pain as well, but everyone had a story to tell. Not all of them had a family-like he did which is probably why he extended his hand to Asteria who she had no one except for herself before Erielle came to join her.

Her touch brought him out of his thoughts and he didn't move at all. His eyes widen up at her as he didn't realize that he had stray hair out of place. His heart thunder underneath her touch as his eyes never left hers as his own dark eyes were filled with curiosity and surprise. He only gave her a soft look and a coy smile spreading across his lips, "Get some sleep." He reaches out and squeezes her hand before standing up while gazing down at her. Of course, Mykel cleared his throat, "You have a dinner to plan tonight, Emeric."

Emeric rolled her eyes while shaking his head at him, "I know this. Keep an eye on her."

Mykel and Emeric share a look with each other as Mykel smirk at him, but the males didn't say anything to each other at all. Emeric looks back at the woman that was laying on the bed while grabbing a cloth that was wet while draping it over her forehead. Giving her another look with that same coy smirk, he took his leave as Mykel watch him with a knowing look on his face. Sighing softly while shaking his head back and forth, looking over at the woman before continuing writing in his journal that he keeps with him. Writing down the effects of his potions and also keeping detailed records of his patients as well. He always does that to keep track of them as well. Making sure they were progressing smoothingly and healing the right way as well. He was a medic, but he was a different creature as well. Everyone who knows him will say that he was a caring person and will take care of that specific person that is instructed to watch over. It was why Emeric left the woman in his care. Knowing full well that he will take care of her as well.

Emeric went down the hallway and down the stairs, seeing that his two Illyrian brothers were standing there giving him a smirk. Smacking them both on the arms, they move down the main hallway together. Going to the dining room where his cousin Anya was waiting for them.

Asteria rose an eyebrow up at the human queen as she tilted her head in a thoughtful way, "I never heard of such lands before." She was surprised as it was clearly something she never knew. Making a mental note to herself to study her human lands, her own eyes taking in her sun-kissed skin. The way that it was beautiful to her own eyes and different as well. Something made her stomach twist as a primal noise escape from her which she covers up with a cough. Adverting her eyes away from her skin. Clearing her throat, she nodded her head while speaking softly, "It sounds lovely."

She breathes out shakily while tipping her head back as her long hair dipped into the sparkling water, "A fae being in the human world is quite rare, but I wouldn't decline the invitation."

Asteria brought her head up as she looks like a water goddess that just came out of the waters and into the spring day, reborn with the earth and her eyes locking onto hers. "I shall warn you, I am considered the strongest High Lady of the Fae right now. The humans may be terrified of me." She waddled her way to her, closing the distance as she rose a hand up to cup her cheek. Her thumb stroking the curve of her high cheekbone while tilting her head to the side as she gave her a feline grin. One that she rarely shows anyone at all, not even Erielle unless she was heavily under the influence of their ale and she was more open than serious. She asked her, "Are you afraid of me and my lands?" She was curious as she had a lot of power and the High Lord of The Night Court had been helping her out. Learning how to control it. She was afraid of getting close to anyone and everyone was afraid of her because of what she could destroy. Emeric was the only High Lord who wasn't fearful of her.

She waited for her words and the words that she was worrying herself over. Her nerves twisting, but she didn't let it show. Not under the feline grin that was still across her lips as she waited for her answer. Expecting the worst in every situation which isn't surprising at all. She breath out a sigh of relief while shaking her head back and forth. Erielle was watching and observing from the shadows. Always watching her High Lady that she had given her loyalty too. Always making sure shew as safe on her watch. Seeing that she was making some waves with the human queen, Erielle turn her attention away as she decided to muck out the stalls for something to do than eavesdropped on their personal conversation. Asteria would not be pleased with her at all.

She tried for a smile, the edges of her lips curling up as she nodded to the order. It was the kind of order that was for your own good, so Taliesin didn't feel any need to fight it, besides, sleep.. sleep sounded good. Laying back, she felt the squeeze of his hand and her smile grew, becoming a real smile. Her eyes slid from Emeric to Mykel, watching the two interact. A lot seemed to pass between the males, though very little was said out loud. Yawning, a small hand covered her mouth as her lashes grew heavy. Dinner, watch her.. the few lines of dialog lingering in her mind. She still wanted to be held, but she couldn't bring herself to ask something of a stranger, no matter how drawn she was to him.

A cool cloth was pressed to her forehead and her lashes fluttered open and she smiled again in thanks. Sleep however was determined to claim her. She was asleep before Emeric met his Illyrian brothers in the hallway, the last thing Taliesin heard was the gentle scratching of a pen against paper. Her sleep was deep, dreamless and it was for the best. For a long time she didn't move, though several hours later she shifted on the bed, onto her side, curled slightly. One hand was to her chest, the other near her head. Taliesin slept until the sun was sinking behind the horizon.

Taliesin stirred, a soft whimper leaving her throat, her lashes fluttering as she slowly came to. Her eyes opened first, glacial blue eyes taking in the candle lit room. Slowly she pushed herself to sitting, the cold compress, long since dried, fell to her lap. Fingers brushed the cloth and she looked around for signs of Emeric, Mykel..

----

Water lapped at her breasts as they spoke, her eyes lingering on the beautiful fae before her. Their skin were golden, but they differed slightly. Amoret was a touch darker, though just a bit, her golden skin like the palest caramel. It came from a life underneath a burning sun, in the white sand dunes. "They are beautiful," Amoret said with a smile and then she found herself inviting the charming High lady to her own lands. Her answer made her smile and incline her head. "Indeed, you're correct. I know there is still fear along my kind.. But that is from a time long before my own and even yours, if I am not mistaken. I see no reason to fear something so long in the past, that no longer holds true."

Watching Asteria rise, her hair silver and gold as the water ran down her golden tresses. Slowly, Asteria closed the distance, as she questioned her. Amoret leaned her cheek into the touch, her bright, emerald eyes holding Asteria's. "Truth?" She questioned before turning her head, a kiss pressed to her palm before her nuzzled her cheek into the warm hand along her cheek. "I am afraid of your lands, but not because of you, nor the people you govern. If they are anything like my own, there are fae within your lands that do not answer to you. I have heard tales of some creatures that dwell in fae lands, they scare me. But, I think that fear is healthy." Her eyes met her own again, "But am I scared of you? No. Perhaps folly, but I don't think you'd harm me or my own, at least, not without reason."

Shifting, Amoret mirrored Asteria, her own hand coming to rest on the High Lady's cheek. The motion bared her breasts, lifting them from the water enough that her dusty rosy nipples were exposed. Oddly enough her hands were not silken and smooth, what someone might assume a queen would have. Her hands showed that she'd known a weapon, used it enough that her hands were calloused slightly. A queen, she was bolder than most of her kind and Amoret slowly rose on her tip toes, lips brushed against Asteria's in a sweet, chaste kiss. "Should I fear you?" The words whispered, as she pulled back.

Emeric was downstairs along with Mykel who had stepped away from watching the woman sleeping. Anya was dressed in a deep navy blue dress that hug her frame and slipped down to her ankles. Her dark hair partially pulled back away from her arch ears as she had a hair accessory clipped to the back of her head. Her heart-shape face was more prominent than before as she look over at her cousin who dress in his good clothing which were a black tunic and his good pair of black trousers along with his knee-high boots. His blonde hair groom smoothingly as his cousin smirk at him, "You look ready for a complete moron." She stuck her tongue out at him while her eyes were filled with warmth and adoration for her cousin who had help her out so many times especially since she was the ruler joint of The Court of Nightmares.

Emeric rolled his eyes at his dear cousin, "Save your fiestiness for Erielle when she comes with Asteria." He gently nudged her which earn him a nudged.

The two Illyrians Vladmir and Sebastian were in their gear along with their seven siphons flaring slightly as they grin at each other. Both of their wings were folded in slightly as they watch the two interact with each other, Sebastian smirking at them, "You both look like morons." Vladmir only grin at that as he was the quiet one out of the bunch and didn't really say anything for the most part unless it was important matters and then he would add a word or two. He look over at Mykel as the medic was distracted by glancing upwards, "What are we going to do about guest? It's not like we are hiding her, but it would raise questions for the High Lady of Spring and her Emissary." He pointed out to them.

Anya frown deeply as she look at her cousin who had a thoughtful expression before speaking to them, "Well, she could either join as I know she would be hungry."

"I don't think that is wise to have her around new people. She doesn't remember anything and if they ask her out of politeness. Then what?" Mykel pointed out once again which cause Emeric to flare his wings a little bit before speaking once more, "She has a choice. It is up to her, Mykel."

Mykel sigh, but gesture for him to do what he intended to do which Emeric left them standing there with his back to them. Anya gave a sharp look to Mykel who only shrugged his shoulders at her. Emeric walk up the stairs once more before entering the infirmary once more to see her awake and cross over to her in careful steps, "Hello sleeping beauty." A smirk was on his lips as he gingerly took the empty chair next to her bed, folding one leg over his while his eyes held amusement in them. Waiting for her sweet words that would ring upon his ears once more, her voice was like music to his ears.

*(*

Asteria was standing there while watching her and tilted her head to the side along with listening to what she was saying. "Maybe, we can cross that bridge when it comes." She murmured in a soft tone as she watch her, feeling her breathing hitch in the back of throat. Her primal state screaming at her to have her way with this woman. Right here and right now, but she stifled the roaring inside of her body by thinking of something else. Someone that was a pain in her butt, but she didn't say anything. This woman that was human. That was from the human lands, she was exotic in every way that was possible. She watch her movements, the beauty of her skin, her dark hair as well as her eyes, the color of her eyes fasnciates her to no end. She was beautiful and Asteria was finding it hard to tear herself away as the twilight hours began. Giving it a romantic kind of air as the water glimmer underneath the starlight as the sky was in deep orange, pink, and purple. The final minutes before the night fell on them.

She was surprised by the human woman who leans into her touch and the way that she stood there before her. The Queen of the Human lands once own by terrible queens until now. She was some far away creature that came into her domain to try the forbidden fruit here, but she needed a treaty of sorts with the humans. A peace treaty as the fae was known to keep their words. Some were like her while others like Erielle father that was a cruel basterd that needed to be put into the earth and buried alive. She didn't think too much on that topic when she had a beautiful woman that was making her feel weak in the knees. Her own fae knees were weak by the mortal Queen who stood here. Asteria was playing with fire and she knew that, but she didn't want to stop. Not now.

Asteria's breath caught at her words as they caress her ear, her hand on her cheek that was warm and strong. A woman who knew how to fight when she needed to. What weapons did she use? Her pink rosebuds were a sight to see as her blue eyes darted downwards taking in the beauty of them before looking back up as an animalistic growled rumble through her entire body. Setting her aflame by this woman that could possibly be her- no, Asteria shut that down even though the woman's lips ended up on hers and her eyelids fall shut at the sensation that overwhelmed her for a moment. She was left speechless and a little dazed in that moment. Trying to process what she was saying, what they were talking about, but as she wanted to lean and capture her lips again. To caress her sensitive parts and to show her what it means to be touch by a fae who knew what parts cold be enhance with pleasure.

Unfortunately, the spell that Asteria was under was broken by the sound of Erielle's voice calling from the land as it seems so far away, "Asteria, you are going to be late for The Night Court's dinner party if you don't get out of that water. You know if you don't make an appearance, High Lord Emeric will come for you and find you whether you are indecent or not."

Asteria pulled away from her while composing into the High Lady as her mask had dropped for a moment to let the Queen of Mortals see her, but it was back in place. She clear her throat even though her voice was breathless and much softer than before, "We are about to leave. Will you like to join us or will you preferred to stay up in the room?" She was waddling over to the bank as every inch of her skin was being bare to the Queen of Mortals as Asteria took her wet blonde locks and began to ring her hair out while looking back at her as her own pale pink rosebuds were showing to her. A tease for a tease.

She heard the steps, though as she turned at the sound of his voice, Taliesin wondered if he'd made noise just not to scare her. "Hello sleeping beauty." Her cheeks heated at the words and a smile toyed at the edges of her lips. He took a seat beside her and she shifted on the bed to turn and face him properly. Her hair was in need of a brush, the silver locks curling slightly from her sleep. "Hello," her voice was husky with sleep, but warm. Taliesin took him in, the fine clothing and his hair combed just so. "You look nice," the words caused her cheeks to color charmingly.

Emeric made her heart race when she looked at him. Bright, icy blue eyes held his own for a moment before she looked around for Mykel. He was nowhere to be seen and her eyes fell back on his face. His clean appearance and fine clothing made her feel a bit out of place. She'd not bathed since coming, though she had do doubt Mykel had done his best.. her clothing though was the same and while magic had made the sand and sea vanish from it, there was a lingering feeling of salt that made her yearn for new clothing.

"What time is it?" She could see from the windows the sun had begun to vanish. "Is your.." She paused for a moment, frowning, trying to recall, "your.. dinner?" She looked up at him, as if in question, "Is it over?" A part of her hoped so. Though they hadn't talked much, Taliesin found herself drawn to him. More at ease. Like the desire to ask him to hold her before. Oh, she remembered that desire and she still wished for it. To be held close to him, breathe in his scent. Something about the thought made her feel.. like she was home. Like just now, she wished to lay her head in his lap. Not for anything quite sexual yet, but to feel his fingers run through her hair as he perhaps told her of his day.

The desire was so strong, she coughed and averted her eyes. The comfort, the closeness craved to a point that it was almost palpable.

----

The kiss as chaste as it had been made her heart race and Amoret's question was whispered against her lips. Should she fear her? Oh, she knew that she should, if she were smart. Yet, Amoret had been honest when she had spoken about old fears. She refused to let them rule her. The woman before her was powerful, she knew this. She was after a High Lady, yet, she couldn't find it in herself to fear the beauty before her. Had Asteria threatened her, or been anything even adjacent to threatening, it might have swayed her. Yet, she hadn't and here they stood, a breath apart.

Amoret found herself wanting to kiss Asteria again. Though, this time she desired to linger. Amoret was one who enjoyed both men and women and Asteria was so beautiful it made her forget to breath on occasion. Erielle's voice broke through the spell that had settled over both women and Asteria pulled away. The offer to join her made Amoret smile, her lips curling upwards. "Id' be honored to join you," her words were chased from her mind as Asteria left the water, her eyes pulled to her body. A low chuckle left her and she followed Asteria to the bank.

Both women were naked, teasing the other with their bodies, though they didn't touch. Her own hair was wrung free of water and laced into a braid that fell down her back. "Though, you haven't answer my question, Asteria." Her name was a caress on Amoret's tongue and she bent to gather her dress. It was heavy and would cling to her wet skin and Amoret couldn't think of anything less she'd rather wear. While it showed off her wealth, her beauty.. she wanted to wear what she might normally wear around Asteria. "Should I fear you?" her own clothing had slipped over her head and she reached for Asteria's clothing, offering to her, Amoret's green eyes darkening. She'd taken in her body when she'd risen from the water. However, even now she took a moment to gaze upon her.

"I didn't know fae could growl," Amoret offered with a smile. "It's an appealing sound."

Emeric's smirk grew at the sight of her beautiful eyes as her hair color was an exotic color as well, tilting his head to the side. "Why, thank you." He decided not to elaborate and see where it goes from here. Seeing that she was being a little coy and he was taking great pleasure in that as well. His smirk growing, even more, wider as he raises an eyebrow up at her. He spoke softly to her, "It's certainly the evening hours." He looks over her and carefully assessed her while making sure she wasn't hurting anywhere. It looks like she got enough rest to where she seems more certain and aware of her surroundings not freaking out as she did earlier. It seems that she was more relax and talkative as well. He was relieved to see her this way and not scared out of her mind. Hoping that she will gain her memories, but he didn't want to push her into remembering anything at all.

He pauses for a moment while answering her, "No, the dinner is still on. I am waiting for our guests to arrive."

He shook his head while giving her a look over once more as his animal primal was coursing through him and he wanted nothing more than to taste her, but it would be wrong to do that especially with her having no memories and only arriving here as well. Everything will soon fall into place, but it will take time as well. Even for the bond to form between them as well. He wanted to take the time to get to know her before ravaging her body with his own. He grinned sexily at her while speaking, "If you are feeling up for it and are able to move, you can take a bath to wash up and either join us or do whatever you desire." He winks at her with that sexy grin still on his lips as well. He was curious though as he asked her, "Do you remember anything or did anything come to you? I know it's still early, but the mind is a tricky thing to mess with as well."

Emeric folded his hands together while placing them gently on his lap as well while glancing to the door, only to make sure no one was there. That it was two of them as well and that she felt more than comfortable to speak in front of him. Not wanting to overwhelm her with his crazy family members as he waited patiently for her answer. He hummed softly to himself while turning his attention back to her and unfolded his leg while leaning forward in a causal way that would tell her that she has her full attention.

*(*

Asteria wanted more of her taste and wanted to claim her right now, but she had to wait. She didn't want to push her or anything, but she didn't want to overwhelm her at all. Things were complicated enough and with how Asteria seems to lock herself up behind a wall. Emeric even has difficulty in trying to getting past that thick wall of hers. She was very prickly with a lot of things and has trouble dealing with this certain things as well. As she got out of the water, droplets ran down her flat stomach, her curves, and her back as well as her assets too. She stood there on the shore and heard her answer as she was glad to have some company to come with her to the Night Court as well. It would be a perfect thing and it would give her companions as well and Emeric would love more company too. Knowing that idiot, he would like that.

The High Lady took her clothes from her and nodded as her own eyes scanned her body. Loving the way that it glimmer with the twilight water that stream and the sudden urge to lean and lick her neck was strong, but she held herself back even though it took every ounce of her to do so. Her heart thudding away in her chest as she wanted her now. The question still hung in the air as she had gotten distracted while tilting her head to the side, "You should be as I am fear by many because of how powerful I am." She shrugged her shoulders, but answer her, "If you can look past that, then I guess it would be no." She told her honestly as she didn't want to lie to her while getting dress even though being wet was a little bit hard to do.

Once she was dressed again, part of her dress sticking to her skin as she glances over at her, "Come along. We need new dresses before being presented to The Night Court. Our guests will be expecting us and I won't dilly dally them any longer." She began to walk forward as Erielle was waiting by the garden entrance while speaking softly to her, "Did you enjoy your time?"

She paused and gave her a sweet acidic smile, "I suggest keeping your opinions to yourself, Erielle."

A soft sigh escapes from her lips while shaking her head and Erielle only gave her a knowing grin, "Oh come' on, you know better than anyone that I know what's going on here." She smirks even wider than before while going back in as Asteria shakes her head before following the fiery hair woman into her garden while glancing over her shoulder to see if the human queen was following along. She glances forward and kept walking to the entrance of the estate with Erielle in front of them.

A slight nod was offered as Emeric thanked her for her compliment. Had it been Mykel sitting there dressed nicely, she likely wouldn't have said a thing. Something about Emeric made her want to offer the sweetness of a compliment. She felt as his eyes slipped over her, though there was nothing amorous in the feel of his eyes it was more clinical. Shifting in the bed, Taliesin lifted a hand and ran it through her silver locks, strands slipping through her hair to cascade around her face again. Taliesin strained to make conversation, she understood on some level why, but questioned it anyway. A handsome face was not enough to make her lose her wits.

"I see," glacial blue eyes slid back to him and this time when his eyes slid from her own, they had a different feel to them. His grin made her blush and her eyes widened and she looked down at herself. "I.." It was clear, she feared showing herself to his guests. While she no longer bled and her body didn't ache, she could only imagine what she looked like. The hand print around her wrist was still discolored.

The temptation of his offer though, the bath she could have either way, but joining him and the others for dinner. Biting the inside of her cheek she shook her head some. "I don't," the lack of the answer made her frown, a feeling that she was disappointing him by now answering. He hummed softly, the baritone of his voice soothing. "Emeric?" She waited till his eyes met hers before continuing. "How bad do I look?" Taliesin wouldn't have claimed to be vain, yet she worried now how she looked.

Shaking her head, a wince tightened her features. Besotted fool. "I will bathe at least.. change clothing. Will you show me the bath?"

----

Amoret saw the way the High Lady's eyes darkened and for a moment, her mouth went dry at the look. If there had been any question if the feelings were one sided, that look chased all of them from her mind. Gently she prodded Asteria for an answer. Blinking, she shook her head. "That is like saying water is wet, Asteria. All of your kind are powerful. Perhaps not by your standards," inclining her head towards her Amouret smiled faintly. "But to me? My kind? The weakest of you is far more powerful." A graceful shrug was offered. "I could perhaps defend myself, though I have my doubts." It wasn't that she lacked skill, rather she accounted for a difference in strength, quickness.

Amoret moved closer, a hand brushing Asteria's. "So I guess, there is little sense in being afraid of you." The words held warmth and she nodded. "Of course," she murmured, following them at a respectful distance. Amoret didn't mind the time alone with her thoughts as she pondered the feelings Asteria stirred in her. Feeling eyes on her she lifted her own emerald gaze and smiled at Asteria. "I will hurry, as to not leave your guests waiting."

Slipping past her, Amoret hummed softly. She picked a simple outfit, yet despite the basic lines, it was anything but stunning. Her top was a solid black that wrapped around her breasts. Golden scales covered her shoulders, her sun kissed stomach bare. A gauzy black cape was attached to the shoulders, though through it one could easily see the golden chains that stretched between her shoulder blades. Her skirt was the real star of the outfit. As if she'd ripped wings off a giant butterfly, the panels glowed luminously. Gold accented her head, neck, waist and wrists, the final touch a veil that lay across the lower half of her face, detailed finely. It didn't hide anything though. Her hair had been loosely braided and fell down her back heavily.

Slipping from her room she made her way to the foyer.

Emeric breathes out slowly as this woman was pushing him to do some unspeakable things to her as he wanted nothing other than to awaken her memories, but create new ones with her. He was still wary of her even though, he knew deep down who she was to him. This woman was his, but it didn't matter. She didn't have any clue as to who she was or where she had come from. He had to be careful as well, but who says he was careful? He was a reckless being and an Illyrian brute. He was humming softly to himself as he grinds his teeth together, but he had adverted his eyes from her. Even though he wanted to ravish her body from her pretty little head all the way down to her toes that would curl when he gives her licks between those legs of hers or when he mounted her and he roars her name that will fall from his lips. What in the world was he thinking? His mate was a clueless fae woman right now and he needed to behave.

The High Lord male unfolded his legs and stood up on his own two feet. Extending his hand to her while speaking softly to her, "You can't walk as Mykel had strictly put you on bed rest, but he didn't say anything about carrying you either." He grinned wickedly while slipping his arm underneath the bent of her knees and sliding one arm gently behind her torso. Supporting her with both arms as he stood there and lifted her as if she weighs nothing which made concern for her well-being as he looks down at her with that irresistible smirk on his lips while speaking, "Come along, my darling. Time for your bath as your wish is my command." He chuckled softly while moving to the staircase and going down them. He slipped into the main hallway, but he did all of this with gentle ease and soft movements. Not wanting to jar her too much or risk involving Mykel and then he would never hear the end of his rant about moving her.

He tilted his head to the side as he realized that the house was drawing a bath for the poor fae woman in his arms. It seems the house knew that the female was injured and wanted to nurse her back to health as well. He wanted the same thing as well as he crosses down the hallway and headed into the bedroom. Smelling the sweet strawberry scent that was coming out of the bathroom as he walks over to it as he enters the bathroom that was warm and there was hot bath water with bubbles in it. The sweet aroma was coming from the bubbles. Oh yeah, the house was sucking up badly for some reason. "I am going to let you stand on your own two feet, but don't be shy about grabbing onto me." He winks at her with a wicked smirk on his lips as he gently set her feet on the ground, but he didn't let her go. Not until she was the one to take the first initial step. Not even knowing if she could walk or not.

Asteria replayed her words in her mind over and over again. Erielle had to literally drag her butt into the house as her eyes stay on the human retreated form as she slipped back into the estate. Her heart was beating faster than before as she curses herself for being an utter fool as she had a dinner to attend to this evening. A peace treaty was being signed tonight as well as discussing the possibilities of alliances as well. Since she had the human Queen, she might as well tagged along with them as she could advance in this with her own territory as well. They were still talking about it, but Emeric was always good on his word. He would patiently wait for Lady Asteria to make the final decision in this and from there. They would come to an agreement except she had company coming with them. Erielle didn't want to go, but she had a hot date with one of the Illyrian warriors there.

Asteria chose a dark emerald green dress as it had a diamond pendant resting against her cleavage, her shoulders bare as the sleeves fell to the tips of her fingers. The dress hugged her curves as she places her long blonde hair up into a crown on top of her head. She wove flowers through her hair as neatly as anything and look diamond accessories that would glimmer in the light and making her sparkle like she was the sun. Soon, she was done and walk down the stairs to wait for the human Queen. Erielle had chosen a light blue dress that hugged her body, but it was more formal for an emissary of her court to wear. Erielle's gaze swept over her body and a smirk spread across her lips, "Well you certainly are going to knock Emeric off of his pedestal tonight."

"We shall see about that." She rolled her eyes as a smirk spread across her lips.

She turns at the sound of footsteps and her blue eyes widen to see the human woman come down in an exotic dress as Asteria look at the skin that was exposed. She was teasing her as she wanted nothing more than to stripped those garments off of her body and to claim her as her own, wanting to see her naked body once more. She was hers. She was hers alone. No one else. She swears that if anyone looks at her, she would remove their head from their body. She stifled a growled that wanted to escape from her lips. "You look amazing, Amoret." Erielle snorted, but she didn't dare say anything at all.

There was a knock on the door as everyone turn as the door open to the two Illyrian warriors that came in behind a woman in a bright red dress that hugs her upper frame too. "Everyone looks absolutely fabulous. Come on let's go. Emeric sends us to pick you up and it's a good thing that I came as well." His cousin Anya was speaking as she smirks as all three of them extended a hand to them. Erielle and Asteria walk over to them as she glances at Amoret while waiting for her to take Vladimir's hand. He softens his expression as he didn't want to frighten the woman.

The fact that Emeric dodged her question wasn't missed and Taliesin hid the frown that wanted to tug at her lips. That bad then... His humming was comforting in a way, and when she inquired about a bath he rose, standing before her, a hand extended to her. A chuckle left Taliesin and she lift a brow playfully. "Is he really that scary?" Her own small hand slipped into his own and with a gentle tug, she was pulled to her feet, though she only stood on them for but a moment. Emeric bent, one of his arms sliding behind her back, while the other snaked beneath her legs. He lifted her weight without issue and Taliesin blushed as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders.

Held this close to his body, the feelings that had slowly cropped up before her nap came back, full force. Perhaps she shouldn't have laid her head to his shoulder. Perhaps she shouldn't have inhaled his scent. Bright, glacial eyes met his own as he smirked down at her. Taliesin found herself liking the way his lips curled when he smiled at her like that. It made her stomach swirl in a pleasant way.

Cuddled into his chest, she closed her eyes, savoring things that were best left alone. Taliesin knew she was drawn to him, though for whatever reason it made her nervous. She'd seen the way Emeric looked at her and knew how that made her feel, yet somehow, she was convincing herself it was one sided. Lashes fluttered open as the sweet smell of strawberries tickled her nose.

"Okay," Taliesin said, cheeks burning. Carefully she took a step, her body swaying slightly. Shifting she leaned back against him, her back pressed to his chest. "I need a moment, then I should be okay." It was a lie, but she wanted to try. Taliesin wasn't used to needing others to look after her, much less a High Lord who gave her butterflies and she'd almost asked to hold her while she slept. Slowing her breathing she shifted slightly, trying to stand again. While wobbly, she didn't fall and she nodded some, more to herself than him.

There was some doubt if he'd leave her before she slipped into the water. Carefully she began to peel her clothing off. Taliesin didn't make a noise, but she couldn't keep the pain off her face as it rippled along her body. She moved slowly, her top the first to fall to the floor. While she undressed she tried to distract herself. "Who drew the bath for me?"

----

Approaching the women Amouret felt her mouth go dry at the sight of Asteria. Sun kissed cheeks darkened a touch at the compliment. Inclining her head she held both her hands before her body, fingers laced demurely. "Thank you, Asteria. You are far too kind." Her name was caressed by the tiny female, the inflections holding something sweet. Her eyes made the sweep of the High Lady's outfit. "Though, I doubt I compare to your stunning outfit," the compliment offered happily.

Shifting she swished her skirts some, the bright panels of color shimmering and glowing with the movement. "This dress is special to my people. If I am not mistaken, the methods of making it were gifted to my kind a very long time ago. Seemed fitting to wear here." The knock drew her eyes and the door opening revealed the trio. The woman was lovely and the men, while perhaps a bit daunting, didn't lack for beauty either. Following Asteria and Erielle she came to stand before Vladimir.

Her smile was calm as she slid her much smaller hand into his own. The first thing she noticed was his grip was akin to her own, not that she would have expected otherwise. He looked like a warrior, so it was no surprise that his hand knew a blade. Tilting her face upward, she took in his strong features and then his wings. "Your wings are lovely," much like the compliment she'd given Asteria there was nothing but honesty in her words.

Emeric only gave her a Cheshire grin as his own heart did its own flipped as his mind was turning to naughty thoughts. Holding her near him was an ache and a relief as well. He wanted nothing more than to claim this woman and mount her. Finish her off and hear her screaming his name would give him absolute pleasure while he roars where it would shake the mountains themselves. He kept a hand on her waist as he didn't want her to fall, but he let go when she stood up all by herself. He watches her for a moment as he wanted to help her undress her, but he had to keep it in his own pants. The woman was currently healing right now and the last thing that he wanted was to be a horrible male to her. There were many things on his mind, but he didn't voice them or even act on them either.

He watches her as his hands were firmly on her hips as he murmured softly to the woman before him, "Take your time, my dear." He leans in and purred against her ear. Inhaling her scent as he wanted nothing more than to claim her as his own body was burning with the need, but for her sake. He reins himself in and scolded himself for even thinking that when she was still hurting as well as healing. He decided that the best time for right now was to get to know his beautiful mate as he waited for her for many centuries only to nearly lose her. He was nervous as he didn't know what had happened to her or who she was, but right now. It didn't matter.

When she got her stance as he watches her closely, but then she made moves to remove her garments, and immediately he turns around while swallowing hard. Oh, she was a little minx, wasn't she? He cleared his throat while waiting for her to submerge herself in the water as it would help her relax her sore muscles as well as to start healing those wounds that decorate her body. His breathing coming out faster than before, but he breathes out easily. Controlling himself and hearing her question as he tilted his head to the side as a grin crept onto his lips, "The house has a magic of its own, my dear."

He added in a softer tone, "Would you like some help or do you want me to go get Anya for you?"

Even though, he was pretty sure she had winnow over to the Spring Court to bring her here along with Erielle. Not knowing there was going to be a third guest. He wonders after her bath if she wanted to join them, but he didn't want to force her into anything that she didn't want to do.

Asteria wasn't sure if she knew how to talk, but she could feel something strong rushing through her. Knowing that it was going to be so hard not to let everyone know what this woman was to her, but she didn't even admit it to herself as she was scared to mention it to the woman. Considering she was here with her and not in her human realm, but she was a guest here. She was so much more than that, but Erielle was giving her a knowing glance. Asteria basically gave her a glaring look as she didn't say anything about it. Telling her to shut up through her expressions and Erielle knew her expressions well as a smirk spread across her those rosy lips of hers. At the sound of her voice, she turns her attention to the maiden and gave her a small smile while nodding her head to her, "Thank you."

"You both are going to rock tonight," Erielle comments while grinning at the both of them, but something about her words made Asteria gave her another sharp look. Her emissary simply shrugged her shoulders at her while she spoke softly to her, "It's very beautiful."

The sound of her guests and future allies were at the front door as the Illyrian duo came in, flanking the beautiful cousin of Emeric's, Anya. Anya swagger in with that annoyance of being part of the Night Court. Holding her head high, Anya extended her hand to Asteria as she took her hand as Erielle practically purred at Sebastian as he swept her up into his arms. Then out of the door that they went, disappearing high into the night sky. Flying as fast as Sebastian's wings would take him. All the way back to the Night Court. Vladimir was an Illyrian, but he possessed some magic that winnows him wherever he pleases. Now, he was standing tall and firm in front of the human woman as he glances over at Anya as she seems to be surprised as well. "Emeric will be certainly surprised tonight, Lady Asteria."

Asteria smirked at her, "We'll call it a little trick up my sleeve."

"I swear my brother is rubbing off on you." She chuckles softly while bringing Asteria close to her and they winnow away. Vladimir did the same thing with the human girl while speaking softly to her, "Hold onto me and don't let go." His voice was softer and gentler than his appearance made him out to be.

Emeric didn't leave her, making sure she was safe.. that she could stand on her own two feet. His hands burned against her hips, Taliesin acutely aware of both. Leaning back against him, she rested. When he dipped his head, purring in her ear that she could take all the time she needed, a shiver ran along her spine. That bond that he felt wasn't secured on her end, but Taliesin couldn't help but feel drawn to Emeric. She heard him inhale. Taliesin's scent was a mix of sweet fruits and soft wild violets with the lingering warmth of vanilla. She'd done the same to him, not but moments ago and it made her blush.

An image of her turning, pressing her lips against was so strong that it rocked her body. Swaying some, she hid the reaction by moving away, starting to remove her clothing. Taliesin wasn't shy about her body, about nudity. It never occurred to her to warn him or to hide her body. The clearing of his throat had her turning, finding his back to her. It'd been sweet that he'd turned and rather than leaving him uneasily, she slipped into the water. It was warm, the scent of strawberries stronger. Taliesin moaned, eyes closing as the heat rushed to ease the aches of her body. "Thank you, then.. house." The words spoken out loud, in thanks.

His question made her open her eyes and she knew she didn't want another in the room with her. "If.. If you wouldn't mind. Would you stay?" She knew he had a dinner to attend, it was after all why he was dressed so finely. Shifting in the bath, the sound of water against her skin and the marble of the tub sounding in the room. Facing him, her breasts obscured by bubbles. "If you have the time." Bright eyes watched his strong back. "If.. you'd like to."

While she didn't understand her strong attraction to Emeric. She could have fought it, but for the cauldron, Taliesin couldn't figure out why she should. Arms crossed across the edge of the tub, her breasts pressing to the coolness. Her head rested on her arms, dreamy eyes looking up at the High Lord of the Night Court. "I'd like it if you could," the words whispered into the quiet of the bathroom.

----

Verdant emerald eyes shifted to Asteria and Amoret smiled at her. She'd felt her eyes on her, and Amoret found the constant gazes addicting. Mates was not a concept humans were familiar with. She knew that her feelings for Asteria were strong, but she chalked it up to a mix of being physically attracted to the High Lady, to Asteria being fae and to the sort of respect that she showed her. She'd honestly been unsure what to expect, though she'd been prepared to be looked down on. Asteria had been nothing like that. Charming, warm and sexy.. No wonder she made butterflies dance in Amoret's stomach.

There was something passing between Asteria and Erielle that Amoret didn't quite understand, though, that wasn't surprising. Rather than watch, the human queen averted her eyes. Beyond the compliment to the Illyrian male about his wings she'd not spoken again. Though when the hand was placed before her she looked up at him and nodded.

She had no idea what to expect, it hadn't been explained. Her small hand in his larger. "Promise," was her answer before he winnowed them.

Emeric kept his respectful distance from her and his gaze away from her broken battered body. Whoever did that to her, he promises that he will make them suffer. A horrible death that they will not be able to walk away from, not even in the afterlife. He can promise that. He tilted his head to the side while hearing her thank the house as a warm smile spread across his lips as there was a faint breeze of the curtain as if the house took notice of the woman's gratitude. He hesitantly gave a glance over his shoulder to see her in the water and slowly, he faces her. The sight of her in the tub made him want to do explicit things and he had to look away from her. When she moans like that, it nearly shatters his will right then and there. He forces himself to calm down before taking a deep breath and forcing himself to relax. He didn't need to think such an inappropriate thought with his mate who was broken. The woman was his after all and damn his mating need to have her. He will heal her first before ravishing her body.

His heart nearly skipped a beat as he sheepishly ducks his head by her words that she had asked of him, "I have a dinner to attend too and I have guests that would be on their way from the Spring Court. She does like to be kept waiting, but maybe, I can spare a few seconds for you."

This woman was making it so hard for him to behave himself and he took a deep breath to settle himself. He needed to think of something else that would get his mind off of the woman that was bathing in the tub. His eyes slipping down her soapy body as he wanted to run his hands over his skin, but he reminded himself that she was bruised in several places and will probably feel pain instead of his hands that would cause her nothing, but pleasure. He didn't want to cause her any type of pain at all. He crosses over to her and gently places his hand on her hand. Smoothing his fingers over her unusual coloring of hair, but he found it enchanting. He kneeled on one knee as he wouldn't bow down for anyone except for his mate and only her-he will bow down to her. Only to ravished her and to show her that he was hers. If only she knew...

"Get wash up. So, you can get some dinner because the brute idiots down there eat all the food." He chuckles fondly as he was doing everything he could to distract himself and to get a hold of himself as well. He wanted her so badly that his trousers were getting a little tight especially since she did such an innocent act that he found to be absolutely adorable in every single way that was possible.

Asteria was placed gently on the balcony of the House of The Winds that overlooks the city of Velaris. It was beautiful as ever. A gorgeous view as his partner Vladimir came with the human woman in his arms as he landed gently on the balcony. As she looks up to see Anya winnowing up above as Vladimir and Sebastian both push off the railing to catch Erielle and Anya as well. They brought both of the women down as well while they were placed gently on their feet. She looks over to the inside of the room where a fire roar in the fireplace setting the room in a warm glow. Asteria glance over to Anya that was Emeric's cousin, "Where your idiot cousin?" She asked her.

"Somewhere around here. I am sure he'll be down any second or wherever he had disappeared too." Anya causally shrugged her shoulders at her while sauntering into the dining room. Vladimir and Sebastian follow after Anya with Erielle on his arm into the dining room as she waited for the human guest-Amoret to get her bearings as she closes the distance between them. Holding out her arm for the female as she wanted nothing more than to sweep her away from here and buried her own wicked ways on the woman. Only to please her and do everything in her power to have her scream her name as well. A warm smile spread across her lips while she patiently waited for her to take her arm as well. Not saying anything as her eyes took in the woman again. Her body and that dress that she wore that she could easily slip off of her body.

The smile that curled along Taliesin's lips was soft and almost shy when Emeric offered to spare a few minutes with her, even with the risk of angering whoever was waiting for him. "I wouldn't want you to upset anyone." Shifting slightly in the bath, she watched him. The feelings he had were not exclusive to him, though she didn't recognize the bond for what it was, she felt a strong attraction to him. Had he not had others waiting on him, Taliesin might have been brave enough to ask him to join her. The thought of such boldness made her blush and her head ducked some.

Not a single inch of her didn't ache softly from whatever had happened. The medicine she'd drunk earlier was still helping, but it couldn't dull everything. Even still, an irrational part of her mind wondered what it might feel like to have his hands brush along her skin. To wash her body with sweetness, the strength of his hands made gentle for her. Her breath left her in a little huff and she nodded. "I will try to hurry." Deep blue eyes rose to meet his. "I can wash up and join you?" The offer was made, but she couldn't stomach the idea of him leaving. Like a moth to the flame, Taliesin wanted to be close to Emeric.

Her smile grew some, unable to help herself, "You said you'd help?" The offer recalled in her desperation for him to not leave quite yet. A selfish desire to bring him closer to her once more and and excuse to have him touch her. The sound of her body moving within the water and bubbles, her back offered to him. "If you'd wash my back, I think I can manage the rest." White bubbles slid down between her shoulder blades, over the patchwork of bruises and over to jagged lines that ran along just outside of the blades of her shoulder.. They were almost healed, though still fresh. The marks were cruelly done and they seemed to indicate that once upon a time, Taliesin had born wings. That memory of wings were lost in the haze of her mind. She didn't even know of the horrendous marks.. that once she had flown through the air.

----

Winnowing, it hadn't been explained and it left Amoret feeling disoriented as they squeezed through space, the darkness licking at the edges of them. Naturally, she clung closer to Vladimir and when they appeared just as suddenly as they'd left approaching a bright marble balcony she let out a small breath she hadn't been aware she'd been holding. Amoret's eyes focused on Asteria, like she was the sun in her universe. The small human female felt rattled, though her feathers quickly were smoothing. She was a queen after all and she gave Asteria a shy smile as she ran fingers through her hair, smoothing it much like her nerves into place.

When he touched down, she slipped from his arms and gave him a smile. "Thank you." She waited near where she'd been set down until Asteria approached her. Slipping her arm through the extended arm, she smiled up at her. Her body shifted closer, the brushed of her soft from against Asteria's intended, a small, playful flirt. "I have to say that was harrowing." Her tone was playful. Amoret was used to situations that many would be uncomfortable in, at least most mortals. Perhaps, had she been warned she could have tried to prepare herself. Though, in all honesty, had Asteria tried to explain the pond they had swum in earlier, it would have been lost on her. The beauty needed to be seen to be understood and Amoret felt that winnowing would have been much the same way.

"Though, if I get to be on your arm after every such experience, I will gladly do so." Her voice held the warmth of her attraction, her words a teasing purr. She was a queen, she was far less shy in her flirtation than any other mortal might have been. A benefit of her birth and position. Amoret found men and women both equally attractive, though... beside Asteria all paled. Even the others of her kind. Far lovelier than anything had a right to be, yet Asteria outshone them all.

Emeric chuckled softly to her while shaking his head while looking away from her for a moment. His emotions swirling inside of him and if only she knew who he was to her. If only, she knew who she was. This was would be so much easier to woo her, but right now. She was being a saucy minx for someone that had amnesia. It was okay. He always believes that making new memories always made up for the old ones and for the bad ones too. He narrows his eyes at her while speaking, "They know better than to anything when I am with you." He gave her another playful smirk as he watches her closely and was appreciated by the sight of her. For now, he'll take what he can get and not try to push anything with her. He wanted her to feel okay with herself and for being here as well. He listens to her with a tilt of his head and gave a low warm smile on his lips. "Don't worry about it." He reassured her as there was no need for her to hurry at all.

"I am sure they will be more than pleased to have you join and I wouldn't mind the extra company too." He nodded to her with a warm smile on his lips.

He purred to her, "Of course I'll help you." He came over to her with slow steps as his eyes never left her beautiful orbs. She was beautiful. Exotic. The best part was that she was his and the woman didn't even know that, but hoping sooner than later. He can help her create new memories or help her recover some of her own. He gave a low growled of approval while getting the scrub and soaping it up before he gently moves it across her back. Soaping her up and seeing those bruises that made him angry to see. Whoever did this to her, he was going to make them pay a very slow painful death. He wasn't sure what to make of the scars on her back and almost felt sick when he came to a realization. The thing was, she didn't have any trademarks of the Illyrian, but she could be possibly mixed as well. He took a deep settling breath while gently placing her hand against her back, "You are absolutely beautiful even with her bruises and your scars." He murmured softly to her while gently caressing her back with his fingers. Rubbing small circles against her skin while waiting for her reaction.

With a soft sigh that escaped from her lips, Asteria look at the human woman who was carried by the Illyrian male. The woman was hers, but she clamps down on her ugly jealousy that was rearing its head. Knowing that the woman had no idea of what she was to her, so, she averted her eyes to the side. Vladimir nodded at the woman and gave her a kind smile before walking over to the table and was followed by Sebastian and her Emissary as well. Tilting her head to the side, she watches the human woman once more. Anya rolled her eyes and took her seat at the table while asking the two Illyrians where the hell was Emeric and that he was late. Both of them shrugged their shoulders, but knew that it wouldn't be wise to go search for him since Mykal walk in and instructed them to leave Emeric alone as he was with Taliesin at the moment. Not sure who that one was, but she patiently waited.

"You'll get used to it." She reassured her while looking over at the Illyrian guys as well as Anya who seem to be the impatient one as Mykal took his seat next to her. Sebastian and Vladimir took their seats as Erielle gave them a look, "Come on, you two. Emeric is going to be late and I am starving." Erielle took her seat as well and Asteria gently lead her over to the dining room table as well, "Well I am glad that you welcome my touch then." She lowered her voice while her eyes flash dangerously that meant she wanted to strip her out of that revealing dress of hers.

With a gentle tug, Asteria lead the human woman over to the dining room while using her magic to pulled out the chair for her while taking her own seat at the table. "So, who is Taliesin?" She asked Mykal and Anya. Both of them went quiet before Mykal answered her, "She is a guest of the Night Court. Just like the human is a guest of your court, isn't she?"

A smirk spread across her beautiful features while she spoke to him, "Touche, Mykal."

He smirks at her in return as she returns her attention to the human woman while Anya seems pleased by the small interaction between her and Mykel. Everyone was chit-chatting, but she wanted to know where the hell Emeric is since he was the one with the bright idea of attending a dinner between them. She didn't like to be kept waiting at all, but the human woman that was accompanying her. She made it better being here at the Night Court as she looks over the woman as well. Taking in the glittering gold of her shoulders that went to her black top and her black skirts as well. Her blue eyes promising that their session in the river wasn't over. It was far from over as she turns attention away as Anya instructed them to eat since Emeric was going to be a while.
