The Short Version
Hey there! I've been writing erotic fiction and roleplaying for several years, and I'm always looking for new companions to play with. In general, the sort of roleplay I'm interested in has the following qualities:
Realistic: A story is at its most exciting when I can honestly believe that there's a chance it could happen to somebody, somewhere in the real world.
Modern: As with the realism, I play in a space that we are all already familiar with.
Taboo: My current craving is for stories where my character gets up to dirty things with people they shouldn't, and/or in a place that they shouldn't.
If that generally sounds like something you'd be interested in, and you're not the sort to read my massive wall of text all at once, feel free to stop reading here, and message me with your idea based on the above. I'd be all too happy to work something out. I am comfortable playing any gender, with any gender combination.
The Long Version
If you are looking for more detail out of me before sending me a message, read on. I would greatly enjoy elaborating on each of the facets of the roleplay that I'm looking for.
Realistic
I mean this in two ways.
The first, and most obvious, is that I want to play in a real-world setting. I greatly appreciate fantasy/sci-fi stories and roleplays that are not erotic, but I personally find playing in a different world, with its own nuanced distinctions from our own, detracts from the sexual excitement of a scenario. I end up caring more about the world itself than the sexual interactions of its inhabitants. I like to focus on the sexuality and eroticism of a story instead.
The second is in the decisions and actions of the characters themselves. I don't just roleplay to re-enact pornographic scenes; I want to understand how and why the characters got into a given situation, and experience the honest emotions that they're going through. Each action a character takes should have a believable motivation behind it that is not simply "to get to the sex part." If we allow the characters to arrive at a sexual interaction in the same way that you or I would in real life, then reaching it is all the more gratifying. And in the case of a taboo situation, this often means having our characters tiptoe a lot around the taboo before they both realize that they want the same thing.
Modern
To be specific, I'll say that I'm comfortable roleplaying in any time from the last twenty years or so. Any earlier than that, and it ends up becoming a game of maintaining historical accuracy over enjoying the scenario. I would much rather play in a time from recent memory, so that it's easy for us to put ourselves in the shoes of our characters and imagine what we would do in their position.
Taboo
What can be considered a taboo will certainly never be consistent from individual to individual. What one person considers a taboo from their upbringing could easily be commonplace to another. And to make matters worse, even if it is already established that you are somebody interested in some taboo subjects, it is immensely difficult to find someone else whose interests align neatly with yours. There are some taboo subjects I greatly enjoy, but there are many I find repulsive. However, I make no judgments whatsoever against people who have different interests from me. But for the sake of my search, I will be exclusively interested in the taboos I discuss in this section. They are in no particular order other than the order in which they occurred to me.
Other Considerations
So, if all of the above is agreeable and exciting to you, then shoot me a message. I've included below a handful of sample ideas, but anything that fits the above criteria is surely to excite me, so feel free to hit me with your own original idea as well!
Thank you for taking the time to read this far, and I greatly look forward to getting the chance to play with you wonderful people!

- Casual Nudity
- This is one that many of the people I've interacted with would not consider a taboo. However, for me personally, I will never not get excited by the act of taking my clothes off in front of another person, whether for sexual purposes or not. And likewise, any person who is comfortable enough taking their clothes off in front of me is instantly far more attractive to me, no matter who they are. And for that reason, that I find arousal from nudity even when it is inappropriate to be aroused by it, I consider it a taboo. This is at its most fun when there is a disparity in the level of comfort with casual nudity between characters.
- Exhibitionism/Voyeurism
- Similarly, I enjoy characters who explicitly enjoy displaying themselves for anybody to see, or those who take pleasure from seeking out a glimpse of something inappropriate of somebody who may not know that they are being seen. This includes any and all sex acts performed in the view of another.
- Relationships Disallowed by Differing Levels of Authority
- This can take many forms: Teacher/Student, Boss/Subordinate, Employer/Employee, etc. I don't enjoy using a position of power to compel certain acts, but I do enjoy a genuine bilateral attraction between two people who have to maneuver around said position of power in order to be with one another. I would love to explore all the difficulties of dealing with the duality of having a sexual relationship as equals with an inequal relationship in other facets of life.
- Moderate Age Gaps
- By this, I mean generally a difference of up to twenty years. I don't enjoy the extreme young/old pairings. But all the same, this taboo is not merely about comparing the numbers, but more importantly about comparing the different levels of experience. The older partner is familar and comfortable with their sexuality, while the younger is naive and lacking in self awareness. This could lead to an education, or simply the two of them enjoying the interaction in their own separate ways.
- Incest
- For many people, the members of our families are the longest and deepest relationships we'll have. Not to mention that we likely experienced our sexual awakenings in rather close proximity to one another, and that kind of link is the most difficult to sever. For me, I restrict my incest pairings to the same generation; meaning cousins or siblings.
- Attraction between Friends
- Some friends are so close to us that they practically are family. And just like family, it's commonly known to be a bad idea to entertain a crush on your friends.
- Overcoming Different Sexual Orientations
- Being attracted to somebody that you know inherently can't be attracted to you in return is hard. But if you just so happen to be the right kind of appealing to them anyway, then it's all the more satisfying that their preferences can be ignored for you. This is another one that I'm aware is not normally considered a taboo, since sexuality is inherently fluid, but having to deal with an attraction to somebody who cannot reciprocate is exciting to me.
Other Considerations
- Length
- I generally prefer exchanging lengthier messages over a long period of time. I will never enforce length minimums or anything of the sort, but my preference will always be for writing more detail and reading more detail.
- Consent
- All sexual acts in my roleplays will be consensual between the characters. Characters may show hesitation or reluctance, but engaging in the act itself will be consensual. The only exceptions to this rule that interest me are: for a character witnessing a state of undress of another character without their consent, and for a character witnessing a sexual act between others that is otherwise consensual.
- Ratio
- Many players want to make a decision between a preference for "story" or "smut," and if I have to choose between these two ideas, I would say that I favor story over smut. However, my preference will always be for the majority of the "story" portion to be sexually charged anyway. I want to spend my time dealing with our characters' feelings surrounding a sexual act; questioning its possibility, confronting its implications and consequences, etc. For me, these sorts of internal deliberations are as exciting as smut itself. So from my perspective, the majority of the text in my stories and roleplays is sexually arousing, but not necessarily explicit.
- Availabilty
- I tend to go hours or days without having the availability to respond to messages, so we should both be comfortable with some gaps in communication that are roughly this long. I tend to be online in the late night hours of Pacific Daylight Time.
- Roleplaying Medium
- It is my preference to keep all interactions on Blue Moon Roleplaying, be that through PMs or threads is fine, but I won't use any external apps or services to roleplay
- Character Physical Descriptions
- In my stories, I tend to leave the physical descriptions of my characters intentionally vague, so that we each have the opportunity to imagine the characters as we see fit. Too often have people's personal preferences for body type etc gotten in the way of a meaningful and exciting story. As such, I don't take kindly to photo references for the looks of characters. This is simply a personal preference. Of course I frequently make exceptions to this rule if a character's physical appearance is relevant to the story, but we don't need to describe every inch of their bodies.
Sample Ideas
- Teach Me
- Main Taboo: Age and Experience Gap
- Secondary Taboo: Either incest or differing levels of authority
- My character: Male, teenager (16-19)
- Entirely naive and inexperienced with sex, doesn't even know how to masturbate properly
- Your character: Female, mid-twenties to mid-thirties
- Either a relative to my character, or in a profession that works with my character, e.g. teacher, doctor, therapist, etc.
- Plot:
- Your character becomes aware of my character's level of inexperience, either accidentally or inadvertently, and despite the strong objection of your character's internal moral compass, she decides to educate me about all things sexual, since she believes that my character's life will be vastly improved for it
- Skinny Dipping
- Main Taboo: Voyeurism
- Secondary Taboo: Casual Nudity
- Your character: Any gender, college-aged (18-22)
- Avid outdoorsman and hiker
- My character: Male, 17
- Shy around people, but adventurous when he's alone
- Plot:
- Your character is hiking through the woods, and comes across my character, skinny dipping in a nearby body of water. My character enjoys the refreshing water on his bare body, but is unaware that anyone can see him. My character becomes aware of your character, either accidentally or by your character's volition, and he is mortified. Then, through our character's interactions, they both become more comfortable with one another, and things may escalate.
- College Roommates
- Main Taboo: Attraction between Friends
- Secondary Taboos: Casual Nudity, Overcoming Different Sexual Orientations
- Our characters: Both Male, college-aged (18-22)
- Straight college boys, recent roommates.
- Plot:
- Our characters live together and become fast friends. It quickly becomes clear that one of us is more liberal with their body and sexuality than the other, however. This character feels comfortable hanging out in minimal clothing and talking about his sex life, while these make the other uncomfortable. But after enough conversations and incidents, the uncomfortable guy starts to open up to his friend, except he finds the process inherently arousing. As a result, he finds himself attracted to his roommate, and from then on, attempts to push the boundaries of what the pair are comfortable doing together.
