This is a new thing I'm trying to keep track of character details as I flesh them out. It's not really meant for public consumption, but eh, all the world's a stage!

Vanaleska Demire

Vanaleska (Vana [vah-nuh]) is an elven trader and merchant. She travels about the local territory trading goods with the various shops, attending markets, convening with hunting and gathering communities, and occasionally attending to various material whims of the local nobles. She prides herself on her keen eye for items of worth and her ability to assess what a purchaser desires.

Much of what makes Vana VANA is in her eyes. Sharp and emerald green, by themselves they convey a wide range of emotions. Narrowed into a glare, it's impossible not to feel the disapproval piercing through their target. Her expression softened, they speak of a sassy approval, if not downright flirtation. Her outfits range from simple to extravagant, always tailored well to her curves. Vana claims to follow the old tradeswoman's adage of "Dress to Impress", though really she just likes to look and feel ravishing.

Her sexual inclinations are something of a mystery, even to those that know her well. She does not typically flaunt her encounters, and seems to harbor some internal criteria for choosing partners. Neither status nor gender identity seem to matter when she sets her eyes on someone.

Vana has sharp, emerald eyes, capable of conveying a great range of emotion simply by themselves. Of her pointed ears, the left holds a trio of silver ringlet piercings and a fourth gold one on her earlobe. Her right ear carries no adornments, other then the asymmetrical trusses of her rich mahogany hair.

Vana is often accompanied by her trading wagon which carries the vast majority of her goods aboard it's two tier, golden colored wood structure. A ladder in the back leads up to a small apartment space for naps and sleeping while on the road. All around the outside are trailing vines and attractive foliage, purely for decorative effect. Multiple compartments can be propped open to reveal

Morgan Augusta, The Cursed Princess

Medieval setting, possibly fantasy

Born the third daughter to a powerful kingdom, Morgan grew up knowing little of the world besides the duty that was expected of her as a princess, to secure her family’s alliances through marriage and childbirth. At sixteen, she was married to the son of a power lord to secure their house's support in a conflict with a neighboring country. Her husband died within a week of their wedding, a casualty of war. A second marriage for her was hastily arranged to a lesser lord who had recently taken control of his house. It was a better match, and she began to grow to love her husband. Sadly, a disease passed through their lands, and he too died six months later. Her husband's uncle took control of the house and kicked her out of it, publicly claiming that the princess herself was cursed to have caused such demise of two husbands.

She was accepted back at her home, but no further suitors came to court her, no households to make a match. An air of unease began to follow her around in the actions and demeanor of everyone around her. As the years passed, she grew willful and independent, frequently taking a horse from the stables and riding off on her own to nearby towns. Rumors began to circulate that she was taking commonfolk for lovers. The king and queen disapproved of the course the saw her on, but without a marriage to arrange, they had dwindling options to keep a growing women pinned down.

Finally, when she turned 27, an offer came in from a kingdom far to the west, one that her country had just recently developed diplomatic relations with. Little was known about the kingdom, or the young man she was now betrothed to. The princess was shipped off with a moderate escort.

Meanwhile, the kingdom's neighborly conflict had developed into a decade long war. As the princess's convoy crossed what they thought were safe lands, it is ambushed by the enemy's forces. With the help of a knight, she's able to escape the assault. Their route home is cut off by the enemy's forces, and they are likely being pursued. Where do the princess and her knight go for safe haven? Do they try to elude the foreign army to return home. Do they venture out to this new unknown land? Or.....do they fall in love and run away together?
