Hello and welcome to my roleplaying request thread! This is my first time trying to do something like this so please forgive if my ambition exceeds my skill. I had some fancy art and an in-character introduction here before. I might add them back later but first I want to be informative.
For some information about myself, I love roleplaying and I am less concerned with post length. That's not to say I can't do multi-paragraph posts, I just tend to write the amount that feels appropriate at the time. But I am not picky and I will happily do my best to meet my partner's requirements.
Primarily, I am seeking a DM/GM style partner to engage in an extended story with. I would almost certainly be playing the captivating, mysterious, spoiled little warlock femboy Clovis while my lovely and talented partner would be playing the role of, well, the rest of the world. It is a lot to ask, I know, and I am not opposed to more traditional roleplay as well.
Clovis Xanthar was born the thirteenth son of Derzin Xanthar, the most evil diabolist in a long line of evil diabolists. It was the night of the full moon, and Clovis' mother, a frightful witch whose body was covered in strange birthmarks of the most evil shapes and configurations, died in childbirth at the stroke of midnight. Yaguah, the twisted, one-armed, midwife who delivered the child, remarked that Fergal, the Xanthar family's black housecat, had crossed the threshold into the room just as Clovis uttered his first cry.
Sometimes, Fate has no sense of subtlety.
As a youth, Clovis was instructed in the ways of his warlock family, trained to summon demons, bind them, and gain power from them. Even before birth, the young Xanthar's soul was promised to dark beings from the Lower Planes, but Clovis grew disinterested in following in his father's foosteps. After a family dispute that left most of the Xanthar clan unrecognizable or immobilized, Clovis left his home behind and set out upon the road. Thus far, he has gotten by as something of an adventurer, putting his fell powers to use for coin.
When it comes to roleplay, story is always more important than smut for me. I love smut but I definitely want it to be the cherry on top of the yumminess that is the story we're telling.
Slice of Life-style games don't really interest me. I really love to have some driving force behind the roleplay. There needs to be conflict and high stakes to give the characters passion, drama, and a bit of angst.
With genres, the ones I crave most are thus: Adventure, Medieval Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, Romance, Paranormal Romance, Comedy.
I am happy to play with all sorts of characters, though I will fully admit I am especially interested in Clovis with Male characters. When it comes to Males, I have a few 'types' that I particularly enjoy:
-Big Burly Men: Tall, muscular, beard, older and possibly a little chubby. Maybe they're a benevolent Barkeep, a brawny Blacksmith, or wise Woodsman. Love a bear to top this wicked little twink.
-Pervy Fat Men: While Clovis doesn't necessarily like them, I love when he has is forced to deal with big, horny, slobs who take a liking to him. This often involves being forced to entertain corpulent lovers in exchange for favors. Preferably they are in positions of power like the corrupt Captain of the Guard or a lascivious local Lord.
-Handsome 'Straight' Men: A strapping man who has gone his whole life believing he only has an eye for women. And then he sees Clovis. The feminine youth stirs a strange, new, desire. Clovis picks up on this and begins trying to seduce the poor, confused, man into his bed. Examples for this sort of character would be like friendly Farmboys, pious Paladins, and naive Nobles.
For Female (and feminine NBs) characters, I enjoy the contrast of slender Clovis paired with tall, muscular, women. Where he is charming and deceptive, they are direct and brutally honest. Where he wields subtle sorceries, they swing big, heavy, pieces of metal around. Tomboys are fun too!
I also have a fondness for monster characters. Orcs, goblins, minotaurs, demons and ogres are all good fun. I even enjoy some of the creepier creatures like Mind Flayers from time to time.
As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I am hoping to find a DM/GM. But I am perfectly willing and happy to play something more traditional, my character and yours, telling a story together. This list is by no means exhaustive but it's just a few potential prompts I have thought up:
-Heaven & Hell (Let's Rock): In this scenario, for whatever reason we decide upon, Clovis finds himself forced to travel with a holy warrior to stop a potential demonic threat. He chafes under his 'companion's chaste, holier-than-thou, attitude and begins to amuse himself by flirting with them. To his surprise and delight, it's working!
-Clovis The Barbarian... 's Plaything: It seemed like a good idea at the time, after the fifth mug of ale, to flirt with that big warrior of the wilds, but when Clovis awakes he finds himself married into a Barbarian Tribe. The delicate, spoiled, warlock will need all his guile to survive the brutish barbarians 'society' long enough to escape!
-Well excuuuuse me, Princess! (Or Prince): Clovis never expected to fall into the adventuring cliche of saving royalty, but when the King's daughter (or son) is kidnapped by a pernicious devil, the warlock is the only one qualified to descend into the Pit and rescue them from Hell itself. But is he qualified to endure a pampered Princess (or Prince) all the way back?
-Xanthar Family Values: Clovis' diabolist father has tracked his wayward son down and wants to bring him home. Clovis must resist the Xanthar Patriarch's seductive power and forge his own destiny or end up fulfilling whatever dreadful purpose they have in store for him. (This one would be heavy on incest, as you might imagine)
-The Last Femboy Scout: Running low on coin, Clovis faces the utter indignity of finding... work. Surprisingly enough, he gains employment at a brothel as security. However, when one of the brothels workers is mysteriously killed, he is motivated to team up with the deceased's boyfriend to track down who did it. (Yes, I stole the plot of a Bruce Willis movie.)
