Why it Matters to You

Everyone has that one thing on their page that they hope potential partners will pick up on, right? Be it a specific pairing that's been stewing in your mind for weeks or months. Or even a song lyric that resonated with you and could maybe resonate the same way with someone else. That's the spark! The thing that makes you or your partner (or both) say: OH YEAH!

I want this to be a place to pick a thing from your thread, share it, and explain why it means something to you. Doesn't have to be intensely personal, could just be a neat story involving the topic that birthed your curiosity for it. Keep in mind, lovelies, this is General Discussion. Keep it (mostly) clean.

Ex:
On my page, I list the 60s, 70s and 80s as eras/decades I'd love to explore in my writing. Now, I wasn't even born until 1993 (the year Jurassic Park came out, for those keeping track). However -short story time- I'm the youngest of three. By a fairly large margin. What they sometimes call an "Oopsie Baby". So by the time I was done being a tiny baby, who could do more than cry and suck on a boob, my dad was getting ready to retire.

So we hung out. A lot. And listened to his Dad Rock. A lot. And watched his old movies that I didn't understand, that made my mom ask things like "Why did you let her watch Reservoir Dogs!?".

And somewhere in there, there was a lot of trips through photo albums of him when he wasn't a Dad; his crappy apartment in Seattle, his first car, when he met my mom on leave etc. So I have this whole wealth of nostalgia for cars, buildings, music and fashion that I was never a part of. It's always something I've been curious about and drawn to aesthetically. And I love immersing myself in that environment whenever I can.

You know, for me, it's not just about the kinks. Sure my profile and my ads rattle off a list of kinks that most people consider to be their limits, but for me those are just building blocks, they're like legos or K'nex that go together in these really interesting and taboo ways. Sure, any of the kinks I have an interest in would be enough to really push the envelope into the obscene, but what really kicks something into that next level of nightmare fuel is the context of the characters, their relationships, their psychology, and how they come to be in the situations they get themselves into.

I don't really enjoy pornographic content, I'm never online surfing for images and videos to get off to because in all honesty I don't get off to nudity, physical form, or watching people fuck each other. There has to be more than that. I get off with the people I interact with because we have context. Someone who is in real time groping my body, sending me a nude, or best of all telling me what gets them excited can get me excited. I get excited for the relationship I have with that person.

And sure, maybe a long time ago I liked those types of roleplays where a guy meets a girl, they fall in love slowly over time, they feel those butterflies and they slowly get comfortable enough to undress. But when you've done that a hundred times in a hundred ways in a hundred places it gets OLD. And sure, for some people it's nice to spice it up with a little bondage here, a little bloodplay there, but for me I want the real extreme situations. Those types of things that really push the potential of the human experience to the very limits of what is possible. Beyond the realms of good taste and sensibility. To me, that's not just sexy, it's art.

It's not just enough to have the kinks in there, it's about how the characters got there, and who they are as people. It's not just about being cuckolded, it's about finding out suddenly how badly you've always wanted to be submissive to another man. It's not just about bestiality, it's about the fine line between love, physical satisfaction, and ownership. It's not just about scatplay, it's about being lied to that your body can't handle real food anymore. It's not just about ageplay, it's about the excitement of having your first time fall into your lap. I don't RP for kinks, kinks are just the paint, they're the colors I work with, I RP for the ART.

And that's why I'm an extremeophile.

Someone who is interested in exploring how characters deal with the situations they are thrown into rather than just write sex scenes. Yes, a lot of my ideas are erotic in nature but what interests me is how they navigate the situations rather than smut itself. I also like odd smut stories, non penetrative sex and variations thereof. Any type of twist that makes the story more interesting. Reversal of usual gender roles, the hot guy with the not so hot chick etc.

Sorry if that is more than one but I kind of group them all into the same desire to explore odd scenarios or typical ones from different angles.
