General Information
Name: Daniel Jay Hark
Nickname: Danny, Hakkeron: He Who Slumbers Beneath The Murk
Age: 23, though it gets a bit mucky when taken into account all the time his consciousness has spent drifting in the Dream Lands.
Species: Leviathan
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Yes
Relationship status: Open
Social status: Seen as reliable, but his very presence lighting up nearby people's fight or flight responses keep him from being truly close to anyone beyond his gaggle of cultists.
Physical Appearances
Height: 7'4 and growing... painfully
Tattoos: Fluctuating with his moods and humors, Danny's "tattoos" are just his skin cells changing pigments, manifesting as inky chains, reaching handprints, and bite marks matching no known dental records, both supernatural and mundane.
Piercings: None
Typical clothing: Heavy cotton wraps that cover his head, neck, hands, arms, legs, and the upper torso while leaving the abdominals and groin relatively unobstructed. Danny only had to piss himself one time to learn not to wrap up too much. Having been in his fair share of scraps and butcheries, past bloodstains remain in the fabric, especially around the knuckles, neck, and face. Otherwise keeps himself decent by using the largest jumpsuit Salem has on staff, a dark green thing with deep pockets and an obnoxiously loud zipper that runs the length of the chest. Wears a size 22 work boot that was similarly gifted, otherwise, the only other remarkable item associated with his person is a pair of goggles fitted with thick, heavily tinted lenses that do little to hide the fact that his eyes glow in fluctuating colors, but it's better than having high beams sweeping around the room blinding hapless classmates. Wardrobe to be expanded as soon as possible.
Personality
*It should be noted that due to his... uniquely monstrous heritage, Danny's psyche is broken up into three parts: The Beast (Id), The Man (Ego and Superego), and Divine (another Id). This amounts to a very scared, very confused, and already very tired man trying to wrestle with deeply intense and alien instincts that drive him to indulge in base desires, bask in the glow of cultish worship, and a taste for bloody sacrifice. Which is, quite frankly, a lot to put onto someone's plate when they're already going through one of the most drawn-out, turbulent, and traumatizing puberties known to the tribes of the earth.

Fears: Spending his eternity insane and too lost to his creeping megalomania that he consumes all those he cares about in the pursuit of More, never having any functional relationships due to his smothering spiritual presence, the growing implications, and responsibilities of his abilities, and sitting on the toilet and having something bite him on the ass.
General attitude: Outwardly hard to read due to chosen attire and the questionable virtue of keeping his heart off his sleeves, with bad moods felt in the air rather than gleaned off his person. Internally, Danny's a mess of conflicting desires and instincts with brief periods supreme, comforting confidence that makes for a great armor. Surprisingly effervescent when on the sauce. However, with an iron will and his growing grasp on himself, an aloof coolness is beginning to take root, replacing the panic and doubt more by the day.
General intelligence: Able to process information superhumanly quickly and efficiently, but lacks practical knowledge about many academic subjects. More of an esoteric knowledge sort of guy... handy with just about any tool you could think of.
General sociability: Generally left alone, his presence makes him incredibly hard to approach on even ground but he tries to appear as nonthreatening as possible with mixed results, some just think there's an ocean worth of malice behind the thin veil of his words and actions.
History
History of family: Unremarkable, the Hark's came to the New World in the 1820s and have resided ever since. Strangely, there doesn't seem to be any obvious signs of Leviathan's in their family tree, so the thought it is that an individual carrying the potential genes for Leviathandom mingled into the bloodline some 50 generations or so back.
Briefly explain life story: Danny has been on the run since he was twelve, fleeing from himself and a shadowy organization hellbent on his death for reasons he can't fathom beyond "It's a monster, so it must die."
Armed with only the clothes on his back and his childhood friend, Danny has been able to stay ahead of the curve as he hops around the globe, wresting control over his monstrous strength and becoming aware of other emerging abilities while coming to grips with the very real effect his presence has on the psyche of mundane humans.
Staying out of trouble, for the most part, in the following decade Daniel didn't come onto anyone's radar until he became involved in a coven war between House Dracul and the Jiang Shi conclaves, siding with the bloodline of the Dragon when the Jiang shi threatened Daniel's cultists in a charnel house of conflict that lasted six months.
Impressed with Daniel's abilities and curious to his heritage, the master of the Japanese branch of House Dracul sponsored Daniel's entry into Salem, eager to see what could be gleaned from further research into this unique specimen.
Daniel accepted, mostly for the resources of information supposedly available to him, and partly because he wanted to be in a place where he could potentially meet peers who could stand on more even ground with him.

Powers: Daniel's powers come from his heritage, connected to godly beings who embodied the very concepts of Might, Unasailablity, Awareness, Predation, and Nature. Even now, vestiges of those concepts survive in Daniel, maturing and deepening in their connection as it twists and contorts his body into the monster he is meant to be.
- Psychic Wake: Daniel's aura is massive, covering an area extending several yards in every direction. To those able to see or otherwise sense auras, Daniel's would appear like a tempest, swirling and churning as his various psyches fight each other for dominance, pulsing and throbbing with impossible colors and strangle lightning. Its presence is oppressive, pushing against and baring down on the auras of those in its "Wake", to those in the supernatural community their natures give them protection from the worst of this effect one way or the other, only an itch in the back of their skulls like a very big fish just entered a woefully small pond. However to mundane humans, the effect is overwhelming and they quickly cow themselves and become compliant with whatever Daniel says in an effort to get him to leave as quick as possible, even to such heights as to let him see sensitive information or let him passed an otherwise barred checkpoint, with the humans rationalizing it later as just feeling endangered. To those like Charlie, Miles, and veronica, however, the effect is stronger and permanent, evolving and twisting into a psychological need to devote themselves to and worship Daniel, whether he wanted them to or not. Daniel is powerless to stop this effect he has, causing as much distress and trauma to himself as much as it's done to others and a large draw of going to Salem was the isolation from human settlements. Plus, being surrounded by people who were only slightly wary and even openly defiant was such a nice change of pace he wept in relief the first night he stayed.
- The Privilege of Titans: Danny's strength is nothing short of colossal, a one-man wrecking crew able to tear down buildings, shatter boulders, and create craters in the earth with the force of his jumps. It comes so naturally to him that most of his processing power goes into not turning his clothes into shreds or converting bodies into wet, crunchy trash bags filled with blood. Chores such as washing dishes, folding laundry, and things like origami have greatly increased his range of control.
- Awareness: Any being who enters the bounds of Daniel's Psychic Wake is immediately registered in his mind as being there, however, he can't tell what something is or intentions, only their general location. This also extends to sources of electricity, the Wicked Tribe's greatest weakness and the most potent tool in the fight against them. Daniel's eyes swirl with irises and pupils, only focusing on things that need his full attention with a burning intensity. Otherwise, they glow with pleasant bioluminescence.
- Hard Bodied: While not bulletproof by any means... yet, Daniel's tissues and bones are noticeably harder and denser than what would be considered normal, making slashing and cutting noticeably more difficult to do with humanlike strength. His musculature is solid, all mass and hard planes but not cut tight to the skin like a gym rat would be.
- Womb of Monsters: Perhaps the greatest gift given to the Tribe by their connection to the ocean and primordial waters was the Ocean's part in incubating life. In Danny, this connection is present in many ways, but the most strange and stomach-churning way is his ability to spawn creatures out of his blood. When wounded, as a reflex Danny can spawn swarms of small wriggling beasts that thrash about ferociously before withering away and dying several minutes later. These creatures are nightmares made flesh, horrid amalgams of snapping carapace and slithering fish-like bodies.
- Depth Dreamer: Only able to return to the Primordial Waters through dreams at this time, Daniel has become an adept lucid dreamer and traveler of the slumbering world. He's able to navigate the ephemeral terrain of the dreamscape and even infiltrate others' dreams, his presence represented as either the ocean shore, bioluminescent eyes in murky water, or a wide maw of twinkling teeth sheltered in shadows. Even in the waking world, Daniel carries with him the smell of sea salt.
