A soft scoff was heard from a young girls mouth and her arms crossed over her stomach. "Are you kidding me? I'm old enough to take care of myself." She said as she stared at her mother and father who shook their heads. "We know, darling. But maybe for a few days not an entire month." Her mother said and grasped her shoulder. "You'll be staying at your dad's friends house for the month. No buts about it. Now go get your bags packed. Your father and I are already late as it is." Her mother stated. The young girl sighed and moved to her bedroom as she grabbed her bag, throwing in her clothes along with any hygienic things she would need for the month. She didn't hate her fathers friend, she liked him. She just thought she was old enough to take care of herself.

Holding two bags she made her way down and out of the house into her parents cars, taking her to his house. Naomi was her name, standing tall at 5'7'', her hair a dark chocolate brown and her eyes a deep forest green. She was thin and worked out to keep her stomach thin and toned. Having pierced her belly button, a small diamond hanging from it. And along her shoulder blades were a pair of angel wings and a small design upon her right shoulder. She wore a white tank top with a pair of blue jeans and a pair of black knee high boots.

Once reaching his house she got out and said goodbye to them. She watched them leave and moved up the driveway to his door as she knocked on it and she glanced to the side. Moving her legs a bit as she tapped her knee high boots upon the ground.

A loud engine awakened a lying figure on the bed. The figured shifted lightly along the bed sheets and yawned softly. He made notice of the engine since there were hardly any diesel powered vehicles where he lived. The young man, whose name is Marco assumed it was his good friend and mentor from work, George Lupkins. Afterward, that's when it hit him, he was leaving his daughter to watch over while he and his wife spent a month in their Honeymoon over in Cancun, Mexico. A soft smirk grazed Marco's lips when he realized they did need some time away from their daughter. Preferably because they catered to her too much and needed some time to themselves. Marco then idly scanned for his phone and text messaged George, 'dont get her pregnant. u 2 already have enough with ur daughter around.' He broke into a fit of laughter as he sent the message and was quickly greeted with a 'fuck you. just take good care of her, kthx.' He rolled his eyes in his response and slowly stepped out of bed.

Afterward, he slipped into his sweat pants and warm socks, along with the white tank top he already wore and went downstairs. "Coming, coming..." His voice echoed throughout the house as he heard her knocks against the front door. He ran his fingers throughout his messy black hair as he came to a halt and inspected himself on a nearby mirror that was close to the front door.. "Damn, I need a haircut.." He murmured softly to himself and scanned his face and auburn colored eyes. He was knocked back into reality as another knock sounded and he quickly opened the door, the first sight being his friend's daughter along with a couple of bags by her side, "Oh, hello.. George's daughter, right?" He asked, rubbing his chin. It was the first time he had actually seen his friend's daughter and she indeed looked spoiled with such elegant clothes, and attractive figure.

She turned around as she saw her father and moved pull out of the driveway before driving down the road. Her head turned slowly and she looked up and she gave a small smile to see the man in front of her, "Yes, and you're..Marco?" She asked and cocked a brow a bit, wondering if she had gotten it right. Her father had told her about him and she picked up her bags in her hands and she smiled softly. "Sorry that they're probably forcing you to watch me." She said and waited, not wanting to barge in before she stepped inside after he let her in. She glanced around and nodded her head slowly, it was pretty nice here and she turned to look over towards Marco and she breathed in softly.

"Where will I be staying?" She asked and scratched her head slightly and she cocked her head to the side. Even though he was in a pair of sweats and a white t-shirt he was quite attractive. Her father never told her he was, well of course he wouldn't tell her that. She bit her bottom lip before giving another small smile.

'In my bed..' He idly said to himself in his mind. Afterward, he mentally kicked himself and tried to control his thoughts, yet it was difficult for several reasons. For instance, Marco was quite the pervert and couldn't help but have dirty thoughts cross his mind whenever he looked at a beautiful, and quite frankly, his friend's daughter was very stunning. In fact, it had been a while since he had seen someone of her caliber. Furthermore, he had never had a girlfriend and it was mostly due to the fact he was very picky on what he wanted in a potential mate. Nevertheless, he mentally sighed, "It's alright, I don't mind. Your father helped me nail a position in the company he works for.. so I owe him a lot for that. Oh and, just go to your left and at the far end there's the guest's room... you'll be staying there." He directed to her, pointing his index finger to where the room resided in.

"Oh, okay." She nodded her head and smiled, "Thanks." She said and leaned down, grabbing her bags as she slowly walked down the hall and then to the left as she opened the door and saw the bed. She stepped in and set her bags down onto her bed and she glanced around. It was pretty nice here and she nodded, well kept and she smiled as her fingers brushed through her hair. She stepped out and shut the door behind her before clapping and rubbing her hands together, "So, Anything you planned to do?" She asked and smiled as she looked up to him. It wasn't going to be too bad like she had thought it would be, not too bad to be around this man for a whole month. She crossed her arms under her chest, and tapped her fingers along her sides slowly.

He idly stroked his chin and watched her in amazement. The young girl was far different from her father's description of her. In general, whenever she was the subject of discussion between her father and Marco, her father would generally rant about how rebellious, spoiled and rude she was. On the contrary, she was nowhere near those moods and in fact, was the opposite. She was displaying a warm and generous attitude, but then again maybe she was just faking it. Perhaps she was in a good mood since her parents weren't going to be around. Marco decided to remain on that assumption, it was probably correct anyway. "Um, what do you mean? If you weren't around? I'm not sure.. hang out with friends I suppose? By the way, your father sure does speak highly of you... " He followed it with a cough and a light chuckle, hinting sarcasm.

She nodded her head slowly and she cocked her brow, "What was the chuckle for?" She asked before sighing and rolling her eyes. "Oh yeah.." She said and rested her hands on her hips. "Whenever he talks to someone about me without me there or hell.. in front of me. He tells them I'm rude and obnoxious and rebellious.." She muttered and sighed. "Because one night I snuck out after getting into a fight with them." She rose her hands into the air. "I wanted to get away from them." She sighed and dropped her arms, "Oh well." She crossed her arms, brushing her hair back.

He smiled in amusement as he recalled back that time at work with his mentor, George.

"God damnit, I swear I'm going to send her to boot camp or something... she's just out of control!" George cried out in frustration and pulled on his hair tightly out of rage. As a result, Marco laid his hand on his mentor's shoulder and sighed, "Calm down, that would cost to much money... you know what, I think I could calm her down.." He murmured softly, trying to lighten his friend's mood. "You know what.. you're right, you have a way with people Marco," The older friend smiled warmly and on the back of his head, an idea formed.

And it was history after that. A month later, here she was now, in his hands. His good friend was entrusting him with changing his daughter into a more civilized person. He sighed softly and pondered to himself on why he hadn't majored in Psychology. "Where did you go anyways?" He asked, intrigued.

She looked to the side and she muttered as she moved and sat down at the end of the couch and leaned back slowly. "No where in particular. I just left, though it was late at night. So I'm sure it worried them even more." She ran her fingers up and through her hair. "Met up with a friend, went up to the mountains." She shrugged and smiles. " He says that i'm the crazy one? He keeps yelling at me, saying I'm a whore because I lost my virginity." She shook her head slowly.

"Like hell I have. I haven't lost it and I won't lose it to the douchebags in my school either." She muttered and looked to the side. "I don't understand what his problem is." She shook her head and looked down with a soft sigh.

He sat next to her and carefully listened to the piece of her story. Afterward, he nodded in acknowledgment to what she said, "I see, but what's so wrong about the people in your school? Don't you go to Lakeside High School? I heard there's a lot of good people there," He murmured softly and placed his hand firmly on her shoulder, showing her his support. "He just cares about you a lot and any parent would over their child.. well at least the good ones and I know he's one of them," He assured her and smiled softly. "Don't let it bother you much, yeah? I'm not fond of having an unhappy camper in my house," He followed the statement with a quick wink and laughed softly. All in all, Marco was attempting to cheer her up.

She cocked her brow, "Try going to class with them. They're all jerks." She said softly, feeling his hand on her shoulder and she sighed. "I know he cares, but he doesn't need to freak out so much about it. I mean, you know just talk to me. Not call me obnoxious or rebellious...or a whore." She looked to the side and glanced back over before she smiled softly. "Yeah, I don't know what would cheer me up now." She rested her head back against the back of the couch and her eyes closed. Before re-opening them and looking over to him.

'A whore?' He frowned slightly in reaction to the word. Marco knew about George's temper getting the better of him, but calling his only daughter a whore seemed to be going overboard. Nevertheless, Marco would be talking to the father about this when he came back. "I'm sorry, you must be hungry. How about you just relax here and watch some TV while I get you something, alright?" He stated and without even waiting for her response, he exited the living room. Afterward, as he cooked her a quick breakfast, he pondered in thought. She didn't seem so bad as George had described her. Perhaps George didn't know his daughter that well, but then again he didn't see her as often since he worked the late night shift and was at home during the day when his daughter was at school. 'She's sure a beautiful young girl...' He spoke in his mind, still astonished by her beauty.

She shrugged and frowned as she looked to the t.v. she opened her mouth before she smiled and she nodded her head slowly. "Okay." She said just as he had left the living room and she touched her head. Her father had really told Marco that she was that horrible and sighed. It made a ping of pain and she bit her bottom lip. He really didn't know her, he was gone all the time and the only person she really knew was her mother and she touched her head once more. She looked to the t.v. before she stood up slowly and crossed her arms over her stomach, slowly walking into the kitchen. "Anything I can do to help?" She asked and leaned against the doorway lightly.

[[I love your avatar <3]]

He shifted his gaze towards the source of the voice against his back. Marco just smiled and shook his head, "Nah, that's okay. You're the guest... " He said and focused on making pancake dough for her, stretching out the dough and forming it into a circular shape. "How would you like your pancakes though?" He asked warmly, but was interrupted with a vibrating sound within his sweat pants. He instantly wiped his hands with a rag nearby and answered his phone. "Hello? Oh hey mom... wait, what? You're kidding me... Ugh... okay, I'll see you there." He said and with that he clicked his phone. Afterward, he shifted his attention to Naomi and was a bit uneasy, "Hey.. um I gotta go, I'll be back later tonight. If you need more food, there's some in the fridge, okay? If you need to contact me, then here," He took his wallet out and withdrew one of his business cards from work and gave it to her. Afterward, he slipped on some nearby vans slip ons and headed out.

[Hehe, thanks. =] <3]

She nodded her head slowly and smiled as she watched him though her smiled faded as he quickly got his shoes on and headed out. She opened her mouth and was left standing with his business card in her hand. She sighed softly and looked down as she set the card down on the counter and finished up what he was making for her. Or at least as best she could, cooking up the pancakes and after about ten minutes found the butter and syrup before she began to eat. What would she do all day if he was going to be home later tonight? The day slowly passed on by as she figured out where most of the food was and ate lunch. Though for dinner she wasn't sure if he'd be home as she found his pans and began to cook. Finding a thawing pork sirloin before she found some seasonings and tossed them on as she had learned to cook for herself a lot of the time. Cooking it in the oven.

Though after dinner, she found herself putting the left overs in the fridge for him. Laying on the couch before slowly falling asleep on the couch in front of the t.v.

He had been gone for most of the day due to a family emergency. It was around a quarter until eleven o'clock before he finally came back, opening the front door of his house and a sigh escaping his lips. It had been a long, stressful, and emotional day. He noticed the soft sounds of the TV in the living room and went over to inspect it. When he was in the living room, he couldn't help but smile at the sight of his friend's daughter sleeping peacefully on the couch. She seemed so content and so innocent with her hair sprawled all over her delicate face. "Hey, I'm here..." He whispered softly and sat next to her laying figure.

She fell asleep for about a good two hours, snuggling up to the cushions and pillow of the couch. Though hearing something other than the t.v she moaned out softly and stretched a bit before she sat up. Her hair messed up a bit and she glanced over to see Marco and she smiled softly as her eyes drooped softly and she yawned. Her fingers running through her hair. "Hey.." She said quietly. "Everything all right?" She asked softly and looked up to him, hoping nothing bad had happened.

He looked at her uneasily when he asked her that question, but concealed it with a faked smile. "Uh, yeah, it's all good. I'm sorry for taking so long, but eh... family comes first," He stated, looking at the TV, although not really paying attention to the program that was playing. "So um anyways, sleep well? Did you do anything?" He asked, stifling a yawn and rubbing his eyes lids with the palm of his hand. It had been an exhausting day for Marco, driving back and forth across town. He couldn't even fathom how much he would sleep tonight, but perhaps plenty.

She shook her head quickly, "No no, completely understandable." She said and sighed as she laid back down onto the couch and closed her eyes. "I made dinner." She said before they re-opened and she looked over to him. "I uh..saw the pork sirloin in there and cooked it. Put some seasonings on it." She said and frowned, "I hope that's all right. It's in the fridge for you." She said with a nod and looked over to the t.v. and then brushed her hair to the side.

"Heh, nah, that's alright... I need to go on a diet anyways, I'm getting a bit chunk," He grinned mischievously and couldn't help but lay his hand on her shoulder. He really admired her figure and found it too difficult to not slightly feel her, even if it was just cloth against her skin. "You know, you look so much alike your mother..." He murmured softly, gazing upon her facial features. "Perhaps part of the reason why your father doesn't like is because of that... he was always ugly and had a daughter that resembled more to his wife... beautiful," He followed the statement with a light wink.

She smiled and laughed softly as she felt his hand on her shoulder and she rolled over slowly onto her back, feeling his hand still on her shoulder and she smiled softly. She blushed at his words and sat up slowly before she laughed softly. "You're sweet..Are you trying to flirt with me, Marco?" She asked and cocked a brow before returning his wink and she laughed as she hugged her knees to her chest. "Nah, I don't think it's that.." She said and leaned against the couch.

His cheeks reddened to that of a red tomato in response to her question and especially, her wink. "I don't know... perhaps. You're no where near to that of your father's description," He whispered softly and he slowly pried his hand from her shoulder, but then quickly caressed her arm before coming to a halt with her hand and hesitantly held it firmly with his. "If you don't think your father dislikes you that way.. then what is?" He asked concerned and his gaze was exclusively focused on her eyes, trying to detect her emotions.

She saw his cheeks redden and she smiled before she looked down, moments passed before looking back to feeling his hand on hers and she squeezed it softly. "He likes to exaggerate." She smiled and breathed in softly before she shook her head. "I think..it's because I'm not longer his little girl anymore. That I am now practically eighteen. I'm a young adult..not a young child." She shook her head and brushed her hair to the side. "And that in maybe half a year I'll be moving out." She smiled.

He closed his eyes for a brief moment when she firmly his hand. She was so warm, and it was such a delicate touch. All in all, it was a great feeling. "Yeah, you're no girl.. You're a woman now... not just by your appearance, but by your character most importantly.." He spoke and his heart fluttered when a smile formed on her lips. It was most arguably, the best smile he had seen from anyone and he loved that. "I was eighteen such a long time ago... yet I still remember I wasn't a boy anymore, I was a man..." He stated and scooted close to her figure, their legs were side by side now and in contact with each other.

And he was right, it was a great feeling. She glanced back up to him and her smile only grew brighter and her face flushed softly. "Thanks." She said and leaned back slowly. Though her eyes traveled back over and up to him as she felt their bodies and legs touching. Their hands resting in each others and she couldn't help but feel butterflies in her stomach and she swallowed. "And you're still a good-looking man now." She said and her eyes almost widened before she gave a sheepish smile. "Erm, you're still a good..man now." She said and bit her bottom lip before glancing to the side. She knew that he was probably very handsome at her age just with how he looked now, what women liked to say..he was beautiful.
