â??BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP!!!!â?. That was the sound of Leilaâ??s alarm blaring, telling her to get up. Leila sighed a little to herself and rolled over. She had recently got a job at Granvil Manor as a live in maid. The job was great, Breakfast and dinner was provided and now she didnâ??t even have to pay rent. The only down side was the fact that she had to get up at 6am every morning. She sighed and turned off her alarm and got out of bed and stretched. She was dressed in her bed clothes and she looked a mess. She got up and put her slippers on and her robe and headed towards the bathroom.

There were two bathrooms shared by all the servants. She made her way to the one that was closest to hers and walked inside. She washed her face and brushed her teeth and went to the toilet before heading back to her room. Once there she changed into her uniform. It was all right. A plain black dress that reached to the floor and had long sleeves with an apron over the top. She had to have her hair tide back as protocol so she did. She then made her way over to the breakfast hall where the rest of the servants were and she began to eat. She smiled at everyone. She was the new person here so she figured sheâ??d make a good impression.

At about 9 am she was told her duties. She was to be the maid of the Granvil families only son. She had to take his meals to him, keep his room in order and basically be at his beck and call. She was then handed his breakfast and told to make her way over to his room. Leila smiled and she made her way over and knocked on the door and said â??Sir, I have your breakfast, are you decent?â? she figured it would be best to ask.

Leila was a tall lean girl. She had long black curly hair, but right now it was up in a bun. She had a feminine body but she didn't show it off like most other girls. She was a bit more conservative than most. She didn't understand why women had to prance around in high heels and short skirts for the enjoyment of men. It was just degrading your self in her opinion.

Upon that thought she remembered the night she'd dumped wine over the head of a certain male. He had come over to her and the second he had said "Hello" she had felt his eyes all over her, sizing her up and undressing her in his mind. She shrugged it off, thinking perhaps she'd been a bit to superficial about him. However she had been exactly right. He was a pig who thought of women as nothing more than tools for child birth and for his own enjoyment. Shed had explained that this wasn't true, however he'd ended up insulting her and she'd ended dumping her wine glass all over his head and storming out.

Leila was doing her Law degree in college and she needed this job to pay the expensive fees. One day she had hopes to be in the court room and rise above the likes of men and show that pig what women were made off, however, this job was only a small stepping stone to her ultimate goal.

Leila waited for an answer behind his door.

Vincent Granvil was the sole heir to his families fortune and as such was heavily spoiled as a child. His parents had lavished him with gifts and had never thought of what repercussions that might have had. Because of this, he had grown into a self-righteous, self-obsessed, self-indulgent pig of a young man that got whatever he wanted. However, there were times when he didn't get his way, and those situations were usually dealt with by less than virtuous means.

His biggest vice was his chauvinistic treatment of women. It was his opinion that women were objects to be bought, used and thrown away at will. His unscrupulous attitude towards the fairer sex had garnered him a reputation as the local playboy and overall womanizer. He might have had little respect for women, but he knew what to say to make them do what he wanted, most of the time anyway. He loved to go down through the city streets and walk along admiring all of the girls in what was in his mind, 'his town'. His favorite girls always wore the lowest cut tops and the highest cut skirts. In his mind, the more skin a girl showed off, the better.

About a week ago, he spotted a cute young girl he found especially attractive outside a local cafe. She was drinking wine and reading a law journal at one of the outdoor tables under the lamplight. He had approached her, taking in her small frame inch by inch and introduced himself. The girl had seemed bothered by something, but he would soon get her to relax. He began flirting with her, but she just kept getting more and more irritated. Not knowing what to do, Vincent decided to switch tactics. He mentioned that she had an outstanding body for a bookworm, but that somehow made it worse. Soon they were in a heated argument over whether or not she could be a lawyer, or a judge, or something like that. He wasn't paying enough attention to remember. She ended up spilling red win all over one of his favorite white dress shirts and didn't even offer to pay to get it cleaned.

His inability to woo the girl had left him frustrated and bothered. This had never happened before and it was a shock to his system. It was that night that he was mulling over in his head as the knock came on his bedroom door. He was lying in his enormous bed all alone staring at the patterns in the ceiling, trying to work it out. His wavy blonde hair fell into his eyes as he rose. The crimson streak through his bangs that he attributed to dye in the cheap wine was still there, faded, but still there nonetheless. Serving as a constant reminder of his failure, it taunted him as he brushed it back over his ear. This new maid will no doubt be a welcome distraction from that bloody witch of a girl, he thought to himself.

He put on his robe as he walked to the door, clearing his throat and straightening his hair as he walked. "Ah, yes! Good morning! You must be the new maid!" He opened the door. "I've been expecting-" He looked into her face in disbelief. "YOU!"

Leila heard voices from inside and footsteps. She assumed that her new boss was coming to opened the door and she waited patiently. Once he opened the door she got the shock of her life. Of all people, she had not expected it to be him.

"Oh dear god, anyone but not him, please not him" she thought to her self as she stared at him. She weighed up her choices. She could either, stick around and be his maid until he got out of college, or she could leave and keep trying to pay rent, study and work part time. The former sounded a lot more appealing at this point, even if it did involve seeing him everyday.

She looked at him and took a deep breath and pushed past him with the tray and said "Yes it's me" she said and walked over to a table in the room and put the tray of food down and began to set it out before pouring his tea. She turned and made to leave and said "Enjoy"

He watched in horror as the girl he had been so distraught over walked right into his room, in his house, and set down his food, in a maid's uniform no less! "What the hell are you doing here!" he spat, "What happened to my maid? I was supposed to have a beautiful new maid greet me this morning!" He looked her from head to toe while she poured his tea. "And what the hell are you doing in that uniform! Take it off this instant!" he commanded, not fully aware of how that sounded. As she turned to walk past him, he caught her arm and spun her around to face him. "You hear me?"

Leila ignored his yelling at her until he grabbed her arm. She looked at him and glared and said "Guess what sunshine, I;m your new maid, Your mother is such a sweet women, she offered me the job, now get you hand of my arm!" she said glaring at him. She wrenched her arm out of his grasp and looked at him. "If you don't like it, talk to her about it" she said.

Vincent just stood there in vacant fury as she explained about how his own mother had stabbed him in the back. "Well- I- You- She-" He stumbled on his words, in utter disbeleif of what he was hearing. "What makes you think you have what it takes to be my maid? That's a lot of hard work!" He wasn't even going to even think about his last few maids and their 'service' under his employ.

Leila looked at him and said "What, bringing your breakfast lunch and tea to you everyday, hardly seems at all difficult" she said. She the snickered "besides, you won't even see me half the time, you'll be out screwing with some other chick" she said to him.

(sorry it took so long to respond)

"I think you'll find there's much more to this job than you might think." Vincent glared at her from behind his strand of pink bangs that had fallen back down in his distress. "The position of maid requires you to fulfill my slightest whim. I'l have you scrubbing this mansion from top to bottom if I can help it."

"What, think I carn't handle it! I bet I can" she said glaring at him. She looked at him and said "Come on, You'll be the first to crack" she said frowning.
