When Hikaru opened his eyes, he found himself not inside of his room sleeping, but inside of a room that looks to be a fancy large room that is draped in velvet blue. There also fancy furniture, and on a couch sits a weird looking old man with along nose, smiling at the young man. "Welcome back esteemed guest, it has been along while since you have visited this place~" The man said crossing his arm. "I am just seeing how you are doing, young one...you have been all by your lonesome doing battle by yourself...so I have done you the favorite of bringing someone special." He points to a velvet chair, and there is another young man there.

"...what is the meaning of this, Igor?" Hikaru demanded. "You brought someone else to sign the contract?"

"its not against the rules~ Plus, he has the potential. It wouldn't hurt to give you a partner." Igor grins widely, and if the young man starts to wake, he greets him. "You are awake! Excellent....Welcome to the Velvet Room. This place exists between dream and reality, mind and matter. I am Igor~"

Much like one would do in a dream, Pascal just went along with the proceedings. He was still half asleep, and his brain seemed to be on auto-pilot for now. "Oh...uh, sure." He said, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "Pleasure to meet you....Igor, was it? Pascal Frederickson's the name." the young man replied, holding out a hand for a handshake. "And who's the lady?"
His eyes wandered to the girlish figure in the other seat, who was visibly annoyed by something.

"Hm? This is my attendant, Megara. She gets cranky when she doesn't have her tea." He waves a flick of his hand and appears a table with tea cups and a steaming kettle. "My dear boy, the reason that I called you here is to form a contract to to help you unleash your full potential. Do you see this boy?" He points to Hikaru, who crossed his arms. "He has already been in a contract for a year, and he has been by his lonesome. He would needyour help to change the world for the better. What do you say?"

"Oh. You're a boy? I'm sorry. You have...very soft features." Pascal said, muttering an apology. She- HE was kinda cute, he had to admit. The earrings suited him well, as did the skirt.
"Contract for what? You're not making much sense, old man." He'd continue, leaning back in his seat and crossing his arms. Unbeknownst to himself, he was now fully awake, and not dreaming. He knew himself a lucid dreamer, so he figured this was all a dream. Perhaps he could take HIkari by the arm and pound him behind the door, if he wasn't waking up by then.

"Thanks..." Hikaru doesn't seem to be amused by this, so he just sighs. "What the nose is trying to say that you are here to sign a contract because you can summon a Persona just like me." Is this guy even awake? He doesn't seem like it, so he would just like the old man explain.

"Yes, what he said is true. Persona reflect the inner soul, the power within you come to life on the other side. You can summon this power, I can assure you. The contract will bind you to this place until it is fulfilled." Igor placed a piece of paper on the table. "If you do, then you shall have access to the velvet room to help with your journey!"

"Sure, whatever. Where do I sign so I can get out of here?" He said, waving at the papers in a dismissive fashion. "This is positively the most boring dream I've had in quite some time. Let's just get on with it, yeah?"

He stood up from his seat and walked over to Hikaru's chair, leaning over the back and looking down at the boy with a mischievous grin. "I'd much rather get to know this cute boy of yours, so..."

Hikaru crossed his arms. "You can't be serious...this isn't a hook up, this is serious business!" He turns to Igor, annoyed of the situation. "You could've chosen someone else other than this horndog?"

"Do not worry, everything will be fine. Since you have signed the contract, then I shall give you this key to access the Velvet room anytime you wish." Igor offers, chuckling as he sips his tea. Hikaru doesn't seem to be pleased, standing up as he decides to leave this place.

"I'm going to wake up now, if you behave yourself, i'll see you in the real world." He grumbles.

"Oof. Shot down in my own dream? That's a new one..." Pascal winced, taking his hands off the chair and letting Hikaru pass him by.

"So what does this key do, anyway? Is it one of those magical 'every door is now a portal' keys?" He'd ask Igor, holding the object in his palm as he looked at it. "Doesn't seem to be anything special about it, if you ask me."

"This key gains you access to the velvet room anytime you wish from the real world. There are certain access points around the city that you can enter through, but only those with the keys can see the portal...however, right now you cannot enter unless you awaken you Persona." Igor explains. "When you do, you can come by anytime to manage demons and fuse them to create something stronger. You might need them..." He looks up as he can hear the bell tolls. "It looks like your time is up. In the realworld, meet up with dear Hikaru would you?"

"Hold on! I don't even know where to find HIkaru, or how to get this Persona thing you mentioned. I've got so many questions!"

"If not in the real world, then the Blue Butterfly will guide you to the Mythical Parallel. Good luck~" Igor waves goodbye as the young man's vision would flash in white, waking up in the real world.

Hikaru would wake up himself, the morning sun would shines through the window, grumbling as he couldn't believe what had happened. Oh well, a new day has begun, and he has to get ready for school. He does his normal routine and puts on his uniform, and he left his room. He has an entire dorm house to himself as he has an important position, plus it is better this way since he has work at night he has to do. Though he wonders if the guy would track him down.

Pascal had graduated four years prior. There wasn't any way he'd find Hikaru without a sheer stroke of luck. Or at least one would think so, at first. See, just last summer, he had graduated again, this time from a prestigious music school, and now he was employed at the local university as a musical theory professor.
It'd be his first day after being hired, and he was understandably nervous.

Hikaru sighs as he walks on campus, and he has to get to class early. Already people are talking about that they have seen the new Musical Theory teacher, how he is a handsome one and all that jazz. The old teacher's absence happened for a reason, but he didn't think that they would find a replacement that quickly. All of a sudden, he almost jumps when he saw a velvet butterfly fluttering and landed on the door. "what...it cannot be..." He stares for a moment, before he opens the door, peeking into the room for anyone that happens to be inside.

And there Pascal was, hard at work preparing to meet his first students. He was in the middle of placing sheets on desks, and didn't so much as even notice the door being opened.
As he worked, he hummed a song someone with classical training might recognize as Tchaikovsky. He wore something one could only describe as a business casual attire, and unlike the way he looked in his dream, he was clean-shaven and sported a comb-over.

"Oh god..." Hikaru couldn't believe this, that pervert is a teacher? this is a very awkward situation, and the butterfly flutter towards Pascal, no doubt getting his attention and he has no choice but to explain things to him. He enters into the classroom, luckily the room is empty. "Ahem..." he clears his throat to get his attention. "So you are a teacher huh? What a coincidence." He said as he walks towards the man and he suppose that he could introduce himself. "If you have forgotten, I suppose that i should get to know you...my name is Suzuki Hikaru, the one you met in the Velvet Room."

Pascal blinked a few times as he saw a face he'd previously only seen in his dream. Was he still dreaming? He looked out the window. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary...other than this boy being here. "Sorry, I don't think we've met before...though you look very familiar." He said, thinking this must all be some kind of crazy coincidence. "I'm Pascal Frederickson. Don't worry about the 'professor' part. I'm barely five years older than all of you, so..."

"...Ah,I see.." Hikaru believes that the teacher might not have remembered, but it will come to him soon. "Well,I thought I might introduce myself, I am in your class after all." He has decided to keep it a secret for now, but it would only be a matter of time before he learns of the truth. "If you are not doing anything after school, could I talk to you after school? Its something very important." he doesn't have a lot of time, this isn't even his first class, so he has to get going.

"Of course! Always happy to talk." Pascal replied, smiling warmly. He may be a closeted pervert, but being a decent person is his favorite pass-time. "Have a good day, Suzuki."

"...ok." Hikaru nods as he left the classroom. That was shorter than expected, but he lets it go, as he went about his day being a regular school student. "What an oddball, can he really summon a Persona? The school day has ended quickly than he expected, and hopes that he would catch the guy at the faculty office, if not, then back at the classroom. Hikaru kept his head down, searching the corner for something, or someone that he doesn't want to run into. It is safe to head towards the office to look for Pascal, hoping that he didn't forget his promise.

Pascal had a perfectly fine day of work. The students paid attention to him, and he had genuine fun. Considering Hikaru wanted to talk in private, the faculty room wasn't quite the best place to speak, what with all the teachers coming together there after school, so he waited back in his classroom.

That was the first place to look, but now he should check back to the classroom where they first met. "Hello?" He opens the door to the classroom to find him there alone. He turns and locks the door by turning the lock just in case. "Good, now I have to talk to you about something important." Hikaru approached the teacher. "What can you remember about your dream last night? Were you inside of an airship and met an old man with a long nose?"

The teacher had set up with two glasses of water, on on his side of the table, and one on the other. He was about to offer Hikaru a glass, but Suzuki came out swinging. "Am I on a hidden camera show?" He asked, looking a little angry as he scanned the room and windows. "Where's the cameras? This isn't funny."

"Huh? No, there are no cameras here, just listen to me." Hikaru tries to calm him down. "You will be put in a dangerous situation when midnight strikes, you will be pulled into a opposite world of Yonozuna called the Mythical Parallel." He tries to explain to him as calmly as possible. "Normally, it is invisible to humans; but there are few that are pulled into it if they have the potential to summon Personas. Tonight, you will be pulled in, the same as I will. When It happens, you will know right away. Which is why I want to help you."

There really wasn't anyway to explain all this with things Pascal already knew, so there wasn't much else he could do but listen. And listen he did.
"What even is a Persona?" He asked, putting his hands to his head. "Are you trying to tell me that all wasn't a dream? ...if so...please accept my humblest of apologies for hitting on you. I was certain it was all a dream! I'm a lucid dreamer, you see..."

"Didn't you listen what the Nose said? Personas are the manifestation of your inner self, it can only be summoned in the Mythical Parallel, and you can summon it...umm, you can't right now , but I can teach you." He waves it away. "I don't blame you, it wasn't really a dream and I'll let it go. It is more important for you to survive at midnight, and I can show you the way." He moves closer to him, reaching into his bag as he handed him a Red Fox Pin. "Keep this, I want you have it at all times. It will show that you are friendly to Red Shadows that roam around the city."
