- You are serious about role-playing long-term.
- You aren't a puss with mental health issues who's skin-thin ego will get upset at the slightest hard comment.
- You don't ghost other writers.
- You're good for 50/50 plot-smut, and understand that 50/50 means there's smut in every post, as well as plot.
- You use private messages, or threads.
- You don't play bratty, whiny women, and aren't under the impression that being annoying is somehow more endearing than playing a nurturing, caring person that moves the fucking plot forward.
- You play feminine females. Notice how I don't necessarily say submissive.
- I play dominant male leads. If you don't want to be led, find someone else.
- You understand that the writing comes first. Who you are OOC doesn't mean anything to me. There are other people on this site who you can get your social interaction from, and they'll do it better than introverted-I can.
- You like Fantasy, Slice of Life, and Taboo pairings.

Blood and Sand:
A female slave enters a Roman household, scared and afraid. She's immediately taken to one side and ritualised. Shaven and oiled-up, and with her hair dyed blonde, she enters a party already in progress. Not knowing what to do, she does what she can to avoid Roman generals and famous Magistrates, who want nothing more than to survey her at arm's length, and turn her here and there to their general satisfaction. She quickly realises she's a display piece, and starts to conform to her captivity due to the placement of armed guards all around the event. One of the gladiators, also on exhibition, lightly touches her elbow as she passes by, and advises her to go get lost fetching wine, because he can tell that she has no idea what she's doing, and soon she'll end up as someone's toy for the night. She runs to do so, and remains hidden. That night, she falls asleep behind a curtain in the wine cellars, and has a vision: the Ludus will burn in three days time, and she along with it; unless, she can escape.
The next day, she is sent to market to fetch a package for her Domina. On the way, she's stopped by a man who recognises her brand, and asks if she belongs to such-and-such a household. She states she does. The man presses a package into her hand, along with an iron key, and whispers to her ear that she should keep the key concealed, and only use it when the time is right. The package leaves a strange powder on her fingers, which she marvels over: as she has never seen anything like it.
When she returns to the Ludus, the Domina asks her to light the candles in her bath chamber; and the powder on her fingers sizzles and pops. She realises that the powder is Chinese gunpowder, the perfect igniting agent for setting the entire villa aflame. Scared and concerned, she goes to bed that night and has fitful dreams. A noise outside her cell wakes her up, and she finds a man outside, cloaked and hooded, his face hidden from the light. He reaches through the bars and touches her cheek, and traces her lips, and tells her that tomorrow she must find a way to unlock the weapon's cabinet in the slave pens, and to leave it open at night: he, he reassures, will do the rest.
She goes back to bed, debating the decision she's been left with, when there's another call at the door. Thinking it is her mystery man, she quickly attends, only to see one of the guards. The guard opens up her door without explaining why, and clips her with a mallet, and then handcuffs her: he then takes her to the private office of the Dominus, a man she has not met until now, and has only heard rumours about. The Dominus explains that he has heard worrying tales of unrest in the barracks, and that he is concerned that she may be aiding in a slave rebellion. He observes her reactions keenly, and then makes her an offer. Tomorrow his good-looking, war hero of-a-son will celebrate his eighteenth birthday, and he would like her to welcome him into manhood by sleeping with him after an exhibition in his honour. In return, she will be safeguarded in the villa, and will rise in position. She can either agree, or not, tell the Dominus of her dreams, or not, or tell him about the key/the mystery man, or not. Her/your decisions are your own, and will affect the final day.
The next day, the house prepares for the heir's birthday. She is once again ritualised and oiled, and spends the day attending the Dominus and Domina and their son, who takes a steady interest in her as the day goes on. At one point, the son asks her if she'd like to visit the barracks with him and see the gladiators. With the father watching carefully, she'd agree, and they'd both venture into the barracks together.
This is her chance to unlock the weapon cabinet, (or not). Whilst in the barracks, she witnesses the gladiator from the party fighting with another slave. He wins, and is then challenged by the Dominus' heir. The gladiator hesitantly agrees to fight. The heir and him come to blows, and she watches as the gladiator has multiple chances to kill the heir, but does not capitalise upon them. Eventually, the heir gets the upper-hand, and holds his sword to the gladiator's neck. He grins, and decides to kill the gladiator. The gladiator looks at her for mercy, to do something. You can decide to intervene or not. If you don't, the heir will kill him, but if you do, the gladiator will be spared; but, she will be hauled back into the Ludus and punished.
That night, the heir has his party, and by now your character will either be receiving her punishment for inciting rebellion in the Ludus, or will be in good stead with the Dominus and his son. Depending on the actions you've taken (for the Romans, or for the slaves): either the party will go by uninterrupted, and afterwards a minor revolt will be reported, in which half of the gladiators were killed attempting to escape; or, the gladiators will break into the party whilst it is still in session, and take the Romans hostage.
