Bump, what is it?

I see in a lot of the forums, in what I believe is the comment sections that the person that wrote the forum says “bump” repeatedly. what does bump mean?

It means they are bumping their thread back to the top of the board. Usually done on RP forums when people have waited the allowable amount of time and then push or bump their Request Thread back to the top of the list.
