Howdy, folks! Got something a little different here. What I have below is a set of fictional Tinder profiles for characters I'm looking to play (currently just one, with others saved for archival purposes). Each profile is presented just as it would actually appear in the Tinder app, with all the information that profile would include, and only that information. The spoiler lists the genders and ages the character has their profile set as visible to, and the city where they're currently using the app. If any of them look appealing to you, then write up a Tinder profile for a character of your own who fits their criteria and "swipe" on them by sending me a PM with your character's profile. Then we'll play out their conversation through the app, writing only what they message one another, entirely in character. They can chat as long as we feel like, and if things go well and they decide to meet up, we can switch to a more traditional RP at that point.

If any of this doesn't make sense, I'm happy to answer questions OOC, but don't tell me anything about your character in advance! The mystery and potential surprise is part of the fun here. When you're ready, just send me their profile and I'll let you know if my character swipes on them or not. Feel free to try again with another character if the first doesn't work out.

  1. The first photo is a selfie, the angle not all that great and the image a little blurry, but it's still clear the photographer is gorgeous. She's white, fair like she doesn't get a whole lot of sun, with dark brown hair that falls over her shoulders in long, loose waves, silky and shining. Glasses with big, bold black frames draw attention to her wide, dark eyes, amid a cute, delicate heart-shaped face. She's dressed in a black turtleneck sweater with a stylish grey scarf; her figure is hard to discern from this image, but she looks busty. She's photographed herself sitting in an armchair in what looks like a library, with a big book open across her lap. She's smiling close-lipped up at the camera, her face turned away from the lens a little; you get the sense she's feeling herself, but still a little shy about it.
  2. The same girl standing in front of the statue of Prometheus in Rockefeller Center. This one's a long shot, done by somebody else. It looks like maybe a fall day; she's in a dark red knit sweater and a black pencil skirt, black tights, and calf-high black boots. Her figure is a little more visible here; she's got a near-perfect hourglass build, curvy but not quite into thick. She looks a little more confident in this one, smiling more fully, though still into the middle distance rather than right at the camera.

I know I look like the most nonthreatening person ever, but I swear I'm really goth and edgy and my soul is dark and full of hatred. NYU anthropology, class of '23. Kind of want to keep it casual right now.

Simple white t-shirt that tightly hugs a visibly trim figure (what's visible above the table, at least), with the shadow of a black bra visible underneath--what's under that looks modest, but far from flat. She's looking off to the side while sipping her water through a straw, seeming disinterested, but a glint in her eyes gives the impression that it's an act, a tease.
  2. A medium long shot, in a club, lit deep blue. She's dancing, hands in the air, not seeming aware of the camera, though the shot is too well-composed for her not to be. She looks really into whatever's playing, eyes shut, grinning. Her dress is short, barely thigh-length, and tight, hugging her like a glove. It has full sleeves, but a diagonal cut-out down the side nearly bares her left breast--she has nothing on under it. The color is impossible to tell, with the light turning everything blue.
  3. A group shot, on a sunny beach, her standing arm-in-arm with three other women, the water in the background. They're all in bikinis; hers is white, a simple string design, not especially tiny, but showing plenty. This shot makes it visible that her build is a bit pear-shaped, generous hips and thighs in contrast to her slender upper body and handful breasts. She has big sunglasses on, hiding her eyes. She and all her friends are grinning like they're having the time of their lives.

Definitely not the most classy vibe. Her race is a little hard to guess, maybe mixed, possibly part middle eastern or Indian--her hair is black and straight, cascading loose down her back, her largely exposed skin caramel-toned. The background looks like a bedroom, the bit that's visible a little untidy, a few bits of clothing on the floor, but nothing dire.
  2. A medium shot across a table in what looks like a Starbucks, or another cafe with a similar interior. She's fully clothed this time, in a Springfield College hoodie that's stretched tight over that improbable bust. She's got something iced and dark in her hand, and looks to have been interrupted mid-sip by something hilarious, eyes shut and grinning with mirth.

She has on a navy spaghetti strap tank top and jean short-shorts; the outfit doesn't cover much, and her figure is easily visible, slim, toned, and athletic, long legs stretched out on the grass (she's kicked off whatever shoes she was wearing, leaving her feet bare). She's not especially busty, but her handful breasts look firm and perky. She's beaming at the camera, not the faintest shadow of shyness or self-consciousness on her face.
  2. Another medium-long shot, this one from behind, on a hiking trail in what might be the Rockies. She's looking over her shoulder at the camera, with that same carefree grin, a baseball cap shading her face from the bright sun. Under a heavy-looking day backpack, it looks like she's wearing a simple black t-shirt, and the same style of jean short-shorts, once again baring her legs completely down to the tops of her dusty hiking boots. Someone else is visible in the photo walking just ahead of her on the trail, but they're not in focus.
  3. A medium shot, on a beach with the water in view. She appears to be sitting on the sand looking out at the waves, shot from behind again, just the back of her head visible this time. Her back is completely bare, not so much as a strap to suggest she isn't topless; all her visible skin is evenly tanned, with no lines.
