DM looking for heroines to defeat and defile

It has been a while since I've DMed and ERP, but I have the itch once again. I'd like to do a thread-based story in an arena-type setting where either superheroines in a modern setting or adventurers in a fantasy setting seek their fame and fortune in gladiatorial battles against various foes. We would be using a dice system that is fairly open-ended and we can talk character sheets and the rules if it looks like we are looking for the same thing. I'd prefer to do this either over PMs or in a thread.
