The myth of the vampire has persisted throughout human history. Every culture has a form of vampire in some way or another. Tales of pale humans who fear the sun and feast on the blood of mortal. Creatures of wealth and power who rule over the masses of humanity in secret. However, what of dhampir? Vampiric offspring with none of the vampiric weaknesses? These are our characters.
The RP is set in a modern fantasy world were vampires rule in secret over humans. One night while out and about, your character is attacked by a vampire and nearly killed when my character, a dhampir by the name of Peter intervenes. With your character dying and time of the essence, Peter does the only thing he can do. He saves your life by making you a dhampir like himself. When you come to, you discover you are not only human but you are not alone: now part of a coven of dhampir who run from the vampires who wish to ensure your kinds extinction.....

Characters
Peter - 5'10" / 125 lbs. / Unknown Nationality (Claims to be Scottish) - Not much is known about Peter's life before the coven. For the most part, Peter keeps to himself and spends his time reading as well as keeping the vampires off their scent. He goes out almost every night but why, no one is certain. Peter is hard to track despite his striking appearance. The only person who seems to know anything about Peter is little Junebug and even SHE doesn't know much. Either that or she isn't revealing much....
Jacob Marlowe - 6'7" / 205 lbs. / American - Jake is a beast of a man upon first meeting him. Biceps like basketballs, a slight paunch, and thick hair, one can begin to wonder if he was a bear in a previous life. If this is true, then Jake was most certainly a teddy bear. Despite his outward appearance, Jake is a truly nice guy who always has a kind word or a compliment. A product of his Southern upbringing as well as his ability to cook. Jake joined the coven after falling in love with fellow member Jacqueline while in New Orleans. When she offered to turn him, Jake said yes without hesitation. He is crazy for Jacqueline and she for him, fiercely protective of her and of the coven
Jacqueline Chauvette - 5'7" / 127 lbs. / French - What can be said about Jacqueline that hasn't been said before? She's absolutely stunning, sly as a fox, vain, and occasionally as vicious as a mongoose. Jacqueline was a rising star as a model when she was attacked in Paris by a group of vampires that left her for dead. Rather than dying, Jacqueline stayed alive and hunted down every single one of the bastards that had nearly killed her. Were it not for Peter, she wouldn't even known where to begin. Were it not for him, she'd never had met her darling Jake either....
Edward Corwin - 5'8" / 115 lbs. / English - Edward took to his new life rather well all things considered. Before becoming a dhampir, Edward was a former hacker for MI-6 and one of the best in the UK. Corwin became aware of vampires after stumbling upon documents covering up vampiric murders in the UK and other regions of the world. Edward wanted nothing of it and sought out a mysterious figure known simply as Peter, though the vampires referred to him as "The Bastard". Corwin offered Peter his skills and a chance to stay ahead of the vampires if Peter gave him protection. How could Peter refuse?
Juniper "Junebug" Owens - 3'5" / 60 lbs. / American - Out of the whole coven, June is the oddest one of the bunch being that she is a child AND she is mute. June is a shy girl of perhaps 8 years old. Peter found June while travelling through Mississippi, evidently her father had been beaten to death and her mother had been raped and then murdered right before her eyes by members of the KKK. Peter saw to it they got what they deserved, he saw to that personally before taking June in.....
