Frankly, I wonder if people got different ways to deal with author block?
What I generally do is give up, or just sleep it out, wait for another time to get in the mood, what do you guys do? Suggest me some methods maybe it will help get rid of my bad habits and live a little~
Re-reading old roleplays, or solo stories I've written. Sometimes what's written there will spark ideas.
Movies that have a similar nature. If you're writing about vampires, vampire movies, and so forth.
Sometimes taking a few days off from the RP can help you approach it from a different angle. Makes you come up with ideas you wouldn't normally have if you responded straight away.
Depends on why writer's block is a thing at that moment. If it's because something in the RP is killing it for you then no amount of reading other stuff is likely to fix it. On the other hand, if you're just blanking...thieve cool scenes. Listen to music that fits the mood or scene. Things that could inspire, basically.
