Andrew, 30, was nervous. He adjusted the cutlery on the table for the 100th time, trying to make sure everything was lined up perfectly. The table was set for 4 - himself, his wife, and his boss and his bosses wife. He wore his best suit and adjusted it in the mirror. The man was due to arrive any minute now and Andrew had a lot riding on tonight - there was a big promotion at work available and he knew he was the front runner. "Babe..." He called out to his wife, who was still getting ready, under strict orders to dress to impress. "You ready yet? He'll be here any minute now!" Andrew adjusted the bottle of wines placement on the table and then scurried over to the living room, adjusting the whiskey glasses once more. He knew his boss would prefer to start with some chatter and a drink before dinner. The doorbell rang and Andrew sighed, wiping his brow before moving to the door. He opened it and greeted his boss.
Richard, 44, was alone. Tall, dark and handsome, he wore an immaculate suit complete with a vest. He liked to dress like a gentleman with every opportunity. He knew how much a woman loved a man in a suit - its how he had caught his wife - and he still enjoyed the attention it garnered him. He made small talk with Andrew as he was led into the home. It paled in comparison to his own, of course, but he didn't mind. It held other treasures he was interested in. He explained that his wife hadn't been feeling well so she had stayed at home, but he was still eager to meet Andrew's wife and talk business with them.
