It all happened in such a rush. Within 24 hours, Jordan had suddenly acquired not only a mother but a brother as well. He had no say in the matter and that miffed him. There had been no inkling that his father had been thinking of remarrying. Nothing had been said until the 16 year old was virtual frogmarched to a simple wedding ceremony. He had never even met who he was tying the know with, nor indeed her son who was almost the same age as he was.
The only consolation was that he didn't have to move house. Not that the dyed platinum blonde liked anyone else moving in. It had long been only him and his Dad, preferring not to talk about the situation regarding his Mum. Now his whole life was about to change. He was even going to have to share his bedroom temporarily with his new sibling until they get the chance to sort out what was always previously the guest room for Skye to use once it was redecorated for him. And that would not be started until after their parents return from their honeymoon.
"It's not just him but there is all his clothes and other things he'll be bringing, Dad. He's going to clutter up my room in the meantime. There be no space." Jordan made a final appeal to his father just as the two newly-weds were about to leave. He didn't know what arrangements there were to bring their possessions over. It would be even worse if his new bruv wanted to use some of his wardrobe until they came. And when would that be? Not until they get back.
