Caldron had sat in his chambers collecting his garbs and his things to run away. His father had declared a fight with the foxes that they had an ally for so long. ~Why is father fighting our allies!? Why...Him~ He thought as he sighed sorrowfully. Caldron had loved the man that was the prince of their old allies. Now they were at war with each other and basically fighting each other. He couldn't handle that and hoped that he would be able to see his friend in the forest location that they had marked for each other to get to to. This was a way that he could be with the prince and away from her treacherous father. When he finished with his luggage that he could carry to where he could fly away he closed the case.

Jumping off of the balcony he flew toward the forest location. The guards didn't pay attention knowing that the prince had done this when he was normally having a bad day and would clear his mind. However to them he would fly over to the other castle and talk to the prince and do things with the fox. It was just how he was and how he wanted to be. Though with this type of cover they won't realize it until he had set off with the fox toward the other regions of their lands. They had forbid it since 'humans' and other type of beings live outside their kingdom's borders. Caldron wanted to meet them and hoped they would accept a fox and dragon. This was another way so he could be with the prince but of course that was the top reason. As he flew off toward the location at high speed and his wings pushing some of the high branches of the forest away some as his figure was built or toned but it was mildly small.

Joseph was already there dressed in lose fitting green armour his large brown eyes were frightened and warmed. He was much shorter then the large dragon and there was a lithness in the smooth muscles that shifted beneath his dark crimson fur. Sighing softly he looked around from his position hidden in the tall branches of the old oak tree they often talked in. He was worried his gaurds had followed him but so far there had been no sign. This war was ridiculous, his father wouldn't even tell him what it was about. Just that it was something they had to do and that he shouldn't worry. Naturally that made him worry more because he was not a pup any longer.

"Where are you?" he questioned softly holding his bag close to his chest. His black tipped ears flicked and twitched and every sudden sound and his tail was bristled and stiff. Soon though they'd be free away from the way maybe then they would stop. He wouldn't fight his best friend over something he knew nothing about.

Caldron landed in front of Joseph smiling, "Hey I am here. Glad we managed to get going. They are about to invade each other. This is great time since our fathers are distracted. Anyway, lets get going Joseph!" He said quickly turning toward the path as he looked over at the fox and admired his body. His eyes searched it more then anything in the world, even if he was straight no woman could compare to what his friend was like and he often got erections from the very thought of being in a sexual situation. "So, I think this village Safehorn is at the end of this path. We can switch into different things or we can just rest and continue onto the next biggest city which is on the border lands of our kingdoms.", He said as he kept up his pace looking back at him and then ahead as his tail swayed crazily due to how anxious he was due to the fact he had just abandoned his people or his future people and his father; his king.

The thought of leaving his father would make it to where his father would execute him if he ever saw him. This thought ran through his head as he had packed this things but the love or secret love for his friend overcame his emotions over the fact he could face death if he returned to his home kingdom. They continued their pace or he thought as he looked back seeing his friend following though he hoped it was right next to him though he could hear foot steps and some times he would look back but he didn't look back much due to the fact the direction of where he was looking at. It was death.

The fox silently followed after him pleased that he was still in one piece. While his father would be more inclined to forgive him for running, Caldron's father would kill him once they met again. Smiling he walked beside the red dragon chatting softly as they walked deeper into the forest and away from the fighting. The village really wasn't too far a few hours walk max and no one would start looking for them for several hours yet. "I need to rest my friend." Joseph called after sometime leaning against a tree and sighing as he pulled out his food. Resting his eyes for several moments he looked over and offered some dried meat to him. "You need to eat to before we continue do you not? It's beginning to get dark..."

Caldron nodded as he leaned up against it as well right next to him taking some of the dried meat. His muzzle took the meat into it and he chewed lightly. His eyes looked upon his friend, "How are you holding up ...Joseph? You still glad we ran off from where we were? I mean..I don't like fighting despite what I am." He asked with great concern as he ate softly and calmly like he did at the table with his father. Caldron would every so often go and look at his friend in awe and great awareness enjoying the thought of being with him but keeping it to himself until the right moment. He was quite the romantic despite his decronic heritage.

"Oh yes, I'm perfectly fine." he commented softly smiling. "I'm glad we ran truely. It's better for us that way." Adjusting his position against the tall tree he pattered the ground beside him. "Come sit for a bit, we're perfectly safe here." as he spoke his ears twitched trying to gather any odd noises from the bushes, but the animal life was as it aways had been, no uniformed marching or sound of heavy wings beating in the distance. They were safe and he was tired and worried, not that he'd tell the dragon that. He always admired him, but kept his views to himself. After all it was frowned upon for one male to love another.

Caldron sat down next to his best friend and possibly something more. When he sat down and put his wings back so they were comfortable he looked over at his friend. "Hey, Joseph what do you want to do? Should we keep going on toward the border lands? I just am wondering since the sky is stretched between us." He asked as he ate some more of the meat calmly enjoying the flavor. His eyes constintly looked at his friend and then his food though when he noticed that his friend would pay attention he would look away or alter his vision to show it not so much.
